Overall, I felt like a bother to this employee. She stated to me that one of my packages was USPS. Confused as to the relevancy, I asked if I wasn't able to mail this at their store. (I thought the commercials I've seen stated I could.) She told me I needed to put the package in the yellow box. I looked around, but she didn't tell me where the yellow box was. It felt obvious that I was trying to find this mysterious yellow box. After a few seconds, I asked where the yellow box is, and she said, "by the door." At the end of the transaction, when she was silent, I said "thank you," and she replied "no problem." I don't expect royalty treatment by employees but also don't like feeling like I'm a bother. I strongly suggest customer service training to understand better how to make your customers feel valued and appreciated so they will return.

This has been on Fridays and Saturdays, and not during lunch hours. Today it was locked at 2pm when the business hours say 10am-6pm, and the "open" light was on. I'd recommend just finding a different location rather than hoping you catch this one when the door is unlocked.

She explained to me how the customer service was lacking as well as communication with Tina was scarce. She has paid for a product she has not even received and refused to ship. The reply e-mail stated simply that this is a service they could provide. I responded with another request for a ballpark estimate of the costs of different sizes and the response I received by the employee Tina Garcia was that they are priced differently based on how large they are. Either they have hired someone who is being deliberately unhelpful to the point that I feel insulted or she is so incompetent that she should not be working in a client-facing position. I called to speak to another employee or the manager and Tina answered and indicated she was the one who had sent the e-mail and explained at length the obvious fact that the pricing would be different for different sizes - again without actually providing any estimates. I asked to speak to a manager and she said that she is the manager - which blew my mind, so I suspected she was fibbing and asked for the number of her district manager. She would not give that to me and instead explained once again that different sizes of prints cost different amounts of money (again without the actual estimates for different sizes). After listening to this again, I asked for another number to speak to a supervisor and she would still not provide it and simply kept explaining. Five minutes later, I told her that I have requested a number of a supervisor 4 times without obtaining it and that if she will not provide it, I will find the corporate contact online. She then stated that the owner works in the office with her and that she could go get her. I asked that she do so and she soon returned to the phone stating that the owner, Bernice Sanders, was helping another customer and she stated I could call back should I like to speak with her. I won't be calling back ever again. Tina may have gotten away with this one, but the business lost me as a customer and now gets this one star review as their only review on Yelp. Edit: Tina apologized and provided estimates via e-mail after the incident. Raised review to 2 stars as this was still a bad experience but I appreciate that she tried to make it right.

I didn't get that sense in this store. When I first walked in the front door I saw they had Sharpie pens on sale for $0.50 each. Score! I grabbed a couple and walked around the store to see if there might be any other school supplies of interest or on sale, found a couple items on the clearance table, got frustrated because there were no prices on many of the items in another clearance area so how are we supposed to know how much they are or if they're really on clearance? I decided since I wasn't spending very much I would double back over and pick up a few more Sharpies. A friend of mine has been trying to get me interested in rock painting and I thought for that price I could experiment and see if I liked it. I don't want to be spending a lot of money if I don't keep doing it. I grabbed one of every primary color, 8 or 10 of them and took them to the front. The girl checking me out was nice enough but she informed me that there was a limit of three on those and pointed to the fine print in the newspaper ad. I told her I didn't see the ad I only saw the sign in front of the pens and asked if she minded if I slipped over to where they were, not too far and check the sign. There was no one in line at that point so it was fine. Sure enough the sign had in little tiny letters limit 3 per customer. Now why do they put it in such tiny letters?? Do they want one person after another to grab a bunch and take them to the counter only to find out they can only get 3 for that price so that the clerks have to be continually putting the pins back? If there's a limit of three they should mark that clearly so people understand. I thanked the girl for her patience before I left. She was apologetic and said if it was up to her she would have sold me all of them $0.50 each so that made me feel better.

On 6/16 I went to look for ink for my new printer. I mention NEW because I was going to need help…read morein finding the correct ink for this printer. There were three people close by, the cashier helping a customer and another employee standing close to them and having a conversation with the customer. I walked closer to them thinking that the extra employee that was conversing could help me. I asked if they could get someone to help me in the ink department. The conversing employee looked my way, clearly annoyed, and said "yes." I asked, "Yes what?" He then told me that the person in charge of ink was busy but as soon as she finished she would help. I went back to the ink department and a short time after, the ink lady came over. She helped me in picking the ink. I asked if I could see peak to a manager about the rude employee. She pointed to the rude employee and said he was a manager. I asked if there was as someone higher than him. I told her about the condencending manner that he had treated me. She said she would report it to the store manager. I wound up not buying anything because a store who has managers that are rude to customers doesn't deserve my business. My experience with other companies is getting managers who are more knowledgeable and friendly than a regular employee. Clearly that is not too he situation at Office Depot

So far I've had very…read moregood luck with everything I've ordered but I recently got something that wasn't what I was expecting and I needed to return it. They mentioned taking it to a UPS Store and showing them the Code I received from Amazon. I happened to see this UPS store when I pulled into the parking lot to look up a location of a restaurant so I decided to go ahead and take it in there. I had just put the box in my car this morning so I might as well get rid of it. If it hadn't been for the long line it would have been a perfect experience. They did keep it moving pretty fast for a while but then they hit a couple of customers that took a little longer so there was quite a wait. Once I got to the counter the clerks were really friendly and my transaction only took a couple of minutes. I can recommend this place but be prepared for a possible wait if they get hit by a large group of people at once.
