Nate is just a good guy. Does a great job cutting hair. Good conversation and very accommodating with making future appointments. The vibe of the shop is laid back/chill which is exactly what I was looking for. I wish they did a full treatment with hair wash, etc but I haven't really seen that much around here. And that being my gripe is more of a wish list than a complaint. I definitely recommend Nate for a great haircut and will be seeing him soon for my next one.

Along with that I explained fears of past cuts with barbers cutting too high on sides or above the crown of head. Barber seemed to understand. First movement of clippers went against everything we had discussed and ruined the haircut from the beginning. Got rid of all growth I had on top except a rectangle in the middle. Back was uneven, along with the "fade" on sides being no where near similar. Took the sides completely down to a 1 and asked if that was fine. Had to do a skin taper to try and make it look semi better. All in all got a mediocre haircut that was nothing I had explained or asked for and am trying to find any way possible to fix it without having to re-buzz it all.

I had been seeing Seth and he does a great job with cutting hair. With my work schedule, it was easier for me to go on a lunch break. He was usually on time but then I went and he was a few minutes late, ok I get it. The next (and last) time I went, I sat for over 20 minutes waiting on him while watching him have a conversation with the guy in the chair. They were done, just talking. I was not acknowledged. When I finally got to the chair, no apology. I said I was about to leave since I had to get back to work and still no apology but was told about how that guy was a president of his own suntan lotion company or something. OK great, but now you're 20 mins late and waiting to cut my hair to tell me about suntan lotion. The conversation was overall awkward during that haircut which made me decide I needed to start my hunt again. If you aren't in a rush then I think JC Male does a nice job, but don't go if you need to be somewhere or back to work on time.

Cool creative name aside, Ian is part of a very small percentage of barbers that truly know what they're doing and you can tell he has a lot of pride in it. Very friendly, and has an impeccable attention to detail. I've been to him a handful of times now, and gotten traditional clipper fades and also razor fades. He's up to date on all the latest styles BUT!!! I'm sure if you walked in and "wanted" an outdated hair cut he'd be happy to hook you up. Each and every single visit of mine has been perfect. I entered the shop hoping to get a haircut for both myself and my two year old son. I only stayed inside the building for 10 minutes before I walked out. The only employee working at that time was a young female with short hair, I didn't stay long enough to catch her name. In those ten short minutes I heard curse words including the "F" word, general foul language and insulting mocking remarks about the Christian faith. This is completely unacceptable behavior and extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning to this location.
