The store has always been so organized and focused on giving the customers the Best products! IN both instances the person did not appear apologetic and acted as though I was an inconvenient person in the way of their job. Whole Foods in Beverly is what you may expect from any local Whole Foods, and I love that they're now in Beverly, but they're also not the best. I pick up groceries or get delivery from here, and I appreciate their vast selection, but it's just not as good as the Lynnfield or Medford locations, nevermind the amazing ones in south Florida. For delivery, you can choose substitutions prior to your order being finalized, but the substitutions are often not nearly the same item. Amazon needs to change this so substitutions are a similar item, not a completely random item switch. Also I've ordered pickup, and a few items are marked out of stock, but when I go in the store, they're in stock, which is unhelpful and time consuming. The people who work here are very kind and under a lot(!) of stress from the time limits for packing + delivering orders, so I try to avoid delivery unless absolutely necessary. Overall the store is clean, they have a large selection of favorite items, and a great hot bar, but I do wish we had better selections like other locations. read more

I have never been stalked or harassed by a stranger who ended up being the store manager! Who never introduced himself! I left my cart and left the store! Came here quickly for some desserts about an hour before closing. It was well organized and clean, consistent with most other locations. The pastry section was huge with lots of options to pick from. I did notice that some products were older (stale) compared to others. Staff were friendly at the check out station. Would come again. read more

I shop here because the meat, seafood and produce are delicious. But this store seems to be a victim of its own success. First of all - the parking lot. It's poorly designed, with many awkward turns, and with confusing signage. It's often not big enough, particularly right before a major holiday. The store itself is fairly small. Many aisles have food that's on a shelf so high up, that actually getting something down is close to impossible. Availability, even of basics (like garlic or orange juice), is spotty. But what's worse is that the people who work there constantly bring out large carts and boxes of food to replenish items. For some reason the carts are often left sitting there, and whether or not someone is unloading, they often block access to food. The employees shopping for orders placed online are annoying. Maybe they are measured by how quickly they can fulfill an order, but they seem to go charging through the store - often with another huge cart - ignoring other shoppers. Why can't they have a dedicated time to fulfill these orders? There have been times when I've been tempted to just leave my cart and walk out. read more

This particular store is always short on supply. Looking for half and half, light cream or any kind of creamer for you coffee? Well the cupboard is usually bare! Nothing! Fresh squeezed OJ... none for months! Need garlic for the holidays ? There was none last season. How about a premade salad for work ? None. The prepared foods used to be delicious 15 years ago but now , in my opinion, they are better elsewhere. I don't stop at this store anymore as they do not have what I need. read more

While this is not the greatest Whole Foods, it's near where I live right now, so I am there a few times a week, on average. Tonight there was an older man working at the self checkout who was incredibly rude and honestly seemed to be trying to get into an altercation with me. I didn't realize at first that it was only an "express" self checkout for ten items or less. I counted 11 items in my cart and said I would put one back, to which he seemed to have a major issue. I prefer self checkout, especially when Covid is having a bit of a comeback (I have an autoimmune condition and am in the area to help my 92 year old father) This guy got in my face and kept telling me to go elsewhere and asking "if there was a problem." YES - you clearly have no customer service skills, which is a problem when your job entails working with the public. Spoke to a friendly assistant manager as I was leaving and she apologized and said she would address it with him. I hope that is the case. It's shameful to treat customers like that, especially given the prices we pay there. read more

I was excited about having a whole foods so close, but every time i shop here i regret it. The aisles are narrow to begin with, then add the online order carts and carts stacked with product and the random ladder propped up against shelves. Ive been shoved into a stock cart by a customer, where i had to pick up all the small boxes that fell off (for some reason i get shoved every time i come in here). Tripped over the ladder trying to let someone pass in a narrow aisle cause literally nobody is following the one way signs... fun times. read more

The reviews on here are surprisingly petty, especially when in reference to out of stock items during the pandemic. I find the people at this store to be so kind and helpful. They take COVID safety seriously and have still maintained a cheery attitude through all of the stress of working in a grocery store during a pandemic. I have not had issues with inventory when shopping and always find a really good selection of fresh produce. Amazon is not my favorite but Whole Foods takes customer care seriously and I really appreciate it during these uncertain times, especially when the grocery store was one of the only trips out of the house! read more

Love this place! A god send to the neighborhood, we appreciate all of the gluten free options in particular the expansive dessert options. We had a cookies and cream GF Ice cream cake that was out of this world! So nice to be able to pop in to get a dessert without having to order weeks ahead of time! The hot food is also delicious, everything on the buffet appears extremely clean! Will absolutely be a regular at this location. read more

Opening Day 10/18/19 was a HUGE success as customers lined up outside to get in and see the new grocery store in town. Being a local in Beverly, I passed by and checked it out myself. It was packed inside. If you havent tried The Mango Moose Cake, i suggest you should try it. Unfortunately, they dont have it and just remembered thaf they stop making it when it get close to the cold season. I found a cheese cake that keto works for me! What got me sooooo excited was the selection of foods in the Salad Bar Area, variety of them! They all look delicious and healthy. I tried the ribs. I would have to rate it 5/10 as 10 being the BEST. I cant wait to try the rest of them. I just hope there were more parking space for everyone! It was tough to find a parking space. The store itself needs more space in my opinion. The bakery area was just a shelf to get the pastries you want, cakes, bread, unlike the one in Lynn. I noticed some near by staff waiting to help customers which is a good thing! This has got to be the worst Whole Foods supermarket ever. It's almost like an express one they don't have a lot like others. But the reason why I'm writing this review is I went there back in March and it was a very windy day. As I was exiting the parking lot taking a right alongside the building the only way out. I had three or four shopping carts coming at my car which hit the side of it leaving damage.They didn't even have the carts contained in a cart receptacles. Just alongside the building ridiculous. My car has scratches on it. So anyways they put me in touch with the manager Tina who said she was going to view the tapes. This has been going on for months first she dropped the ball by never getting back in touch with me and I had to keep reaching out to her. Then she told me to call insurance company obviously who is working for them. ARTHUR J GALLAGHER insurance the agents name was Julie Eble. Who couldn't even get my email right to have me send her pictures. So I got her email and sent her multiple pictures and she said great and then nothing happened after that. I kept calling and emailing her and now she tells me it's too late. Are you kidding me a big company like this and this is how they treat customers. I will never return to this Whole Foods again. All they did was dick me around so they didn't have to pay out. Nice job read more

I have always loved this store and the staff there are always amazing and have been really amazing with their rules and regulations in regards to this pandemic. You guys have done a wonderful job and should be commended for it. However the other day, I was very upset by something I saw and decided to leave because of it. You obviously cant control how people feel about certain things and obviously, even though we are in the year 2021, racism is still alive and well. Even Jeff Bezos has made his opinions known that he is for BLM and so on and so forth. So, the other day I was shopping to see what I assume was a customer wearing a shirt, this shirt referring to this pandemic being the "Chinese virus." I can write all the things wrong with this sentiment and this "phrase," however being we are all of sound body and mind I think we can all understand EVERYTHING that is WRONG with this statement. Someone wearing this sort of racist and disgusting attire should not have even been let through the door. I love this store and I will be back, but I hope when I do the gentleman who was wearing this will either be banned or told to change his outfit before he walks in. I'm sure myself and the Chinese customers that have and will walk through this building will appreciate it. And if Amazon and Whole foods does in fact stand by BLM and have a "no tolerance for racism" policy, then they, and you will do the right thing and take a stand about this clearly racist and disturbed individual. Please keep up the good work with protecting us from this virus, and please make sure this review is taken into consideration, I do enjoy shopping here but I will move on if this individual is prioritized before myself and the rest of the customers, especially those who are Chinese that this WILL hurt. read more
