Well this was bound to happen eventually: a restaurant for you AND your pet. Nope, this isn't just a place where you can bring your beloved; you can actually order them food as well. There's a menu for both people and animals, and it's surprising how no one has really tried this before in Manila. My dogs have already made it a favorite, and they already know what they like the best: the meatballs. While our toy poodles may find a single order enough, our voraciously hungry golden retriever could probably eat a barrel full in one sitting. It's also a great place to make new friends, as pet owners seem to be really friendly with each other in such a welcoming environment. Just make sure to put yours on a leash, since not all animals are used to making friends.

First of all, the moment you enter,…read moreyou feel the friendliness of the staff and just the overall atmosphere of the shop was just friendly and calming. The grooming section is always a sight to see whenever their are dogs getting groomed. I got myself a female Siberian Husky name Rava and I got her groomed over here for her first time and she loved it! I also go there at least every 2-3 weeks to restock on food and occasionally get new toys; I go there most of the time now that the moment my dog and I walk in, we get a "Hi Rava!" greeting. I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

Then you enter Pet Express and spend an hour looking at pet things and watching pets get groomed. Okay, so maybe this is a personal problem, but I rarely get to feel the express in this place because of my curiosity. The variety of dog foods intrigues me, and all the toys and leashes and beds too. Everything that you might want to buy for your pet can be found here, even those ridiculous looking pet strollers. I suppose if you didn't read all the labels and tags like me and tried every thingamabob in the store you could be in and out in 5 minutes, but where's the fun in that?

My dog got surgery there jan 20 bec of a growth outside his anus which may be benign or malignant. They even offered me to do castration as well which to me makes sense para isahan nalang yung recovery process but its kinda weird that they are quick to offer a service wherein the oatient is a senior dog akready. Even to people when it comws to surgery its tricky na especially for seniors. They are also quick to add stuff to your bill without doing the correct process of making sure if my dog can handle it. Long story short, my dog pulled thru with 2 surgeries like a champ. He had to be confined of course but they are pushing for anotjer days stay thays plus.3200 when my dog is ok naman na. They even lied to me saying na matamlay daw yung aso ko pero hindi naman. There are a lot of red flags like...the branch is renovated pero mabaho pa rin..somethings really wrong. And this is what made me mad. After surgery may sugat it has to be cleaned 2x a day. When i hot my dog the morning after they cleaned him na so ill do the cleaning in the evening. Which i failed to do bec they used heavy duty masking tape on the wound. Is that even standard practice???? Havent they jeard of 3M medical tape with varied thickness?? I paid more than 20k and they have the nerve to use MASKING TAPE on my dog??? And they keep telling me that my dog has cancer and they are ready to discuss chenotherapy packages with me WITHOUT biopsy results. Will now cobtinue mu dog's recovery with Horseshoe Clinic or Vets in Practice.

Pet House is the one-stop shop for everything that has to do with pets. While mostly catering to…read moredogs and cats, the shop pretty much has everything if you need pet supplies, vet care, and even dog grooming. For their pet supplies, Pet House is pretty much well-stocked with dog and cat goodies such as food, litter, treats, medicine, toys and other supplies. Occasionally though, they also have items for hamsters and aquarium pets. The first time I really paid a visit to Pet House was when my hamster was sick and the resident vet, Mayet, was kind enough to offer some tips and suggest a medicine with free drops - and no vet fee for my little pet. Seeing how genuine of a vet she is, I selected her as my dog's vet, having had this experience with her in the past. Now speaking of their vet services, I must say the service is really good. Vet Mayet and the other vets and their assistants in the branch are very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to handling pets and diagnosing if there is any problem. Dogs are also given the utmost in service as they often recommend routine check-ups for vaccinations or deworming and flea and tick prevention. While they add a date, what I really like about them is that they make sure the owners know when the schedule is as they text you on the morning of the scheduled appointment. Overall, I can never think of having another vet for my furry pal. While their rates vary and depending on the medicine and what size of dog you have, I have to say that their prices range between affordable to expensive (dog medicine imported from the US can become quite a stretch for the wallet), but if you're talking about your dog's overall health, price shouldn't be a problem.

While the place can get really full on weekends, I prefer going during weekdays as there are not too many dogs lined up for grooming, and the groomers can really spend time on my dog (and the freshly groomed scent lasts all week too!) The price depends on the grooming, but since I have a short-haired mini dachs, the price is slightly affordable at 400. The service starts with the groomer gently cutting the dog's nails, followed by cleaning the ears with baby oil (if your dog has special ear medicine, you can bring that too), then followed by a bath. The Purple Groom uses a tub and a handheld shower to really clean the dog. This is then followed by drying the dog with a blower, and once your furry friend is all dried up, powder and cologne are applied. In addition to dog grooming, The Purple Groom also retails Royal Canin dog food, as well as some accessories and medicines such as tick removers, pet cologne and pet carriers, beds, and dog nappies. What I really like though about The Purple Groom is how they handle the dogs. Personally, I've been requesting Christian to groom my dog as he's very gentle with dogs and you can really see that he's just really into pets and is very professional and knows what he's doing. Also, if you are busy, you can also leave your pets safely at The Purple Groom as they have ample dog cages while their owners are still out doing errands.

For a lot of reasons, I wasn't satisfied and would never go back. It could have been 3 or 2 stars. But, something happened that just made me write this review... When we got home, I noticed that the left eye of my pup was swelling. So I sent a message to (respectfully) ask if something happened. When they asked me to call and talk to the groomer, he asked me if I was sure that it was swelling. I said yes, that's why we were asking. Then here's what annoyed me... He rudely said "wala nangyari. kaya namin pinapacheck kanina mam diba?" (Nothing happened. That's why we made you check earlier, right?) FYI, they did not do that. I just picked up my pup from the cage, paid and left. I noticed on the ride home that he kept scratching his face (which was usual). When I noticed it was swelling, I opted to go to a vet. So, I told him that I just wanted to know if something happened so I know what I would tell the vet. That's it. He didn't have to be rude and he didn't have to lie about me checking my pup before we left. End point: unprofessional and rude. Proceed with caution. Trust your gut. Update: During check-up, the balls were also reddish. According to the vet, either the razor used was too hot or the skin of my pup was irritated with how they trimmed it.

I didn't even know that it existed until the time I passed by it on the way to the parking lot. Bow & Wow is definitely not your ordinary pet supply store. Most, if not all, of their pet food and treats are all-natural and organic. For me, this means two things. First that it is better and healthier for our pets and second, that it's pricier than the usual dog food. As a parent of three dogs, I only want what's best for them so there I times, if the budget allows, that I get their treats from here. So if you if you have the extra bucks to spare for the optimum health of your furbabies, then this place is a perfect stop for you. I do like the selection of food they have here. And everything is a high quality and healthier alternative. The good thing is that the staff seem to know a lot about the different kinds of pet food and they are always eager to help. Because this brand doesn't have any competitors in the Philippines they are able to price themselves at a premium. They overcharge. Which I guess they have a right to do, but as a consumer, when you know you can buy the product from the USA at 1/3 of the price, it gets on your nerves a bit. Also they should give the membership cards for free. We spend thousands of pesos here every month and we get no discount or no promotion! There are barely any sales too. So how are customers supposed to get incentivized to buy? Plus they really need to start offering a delivery service - even if they do charge extra for it. Lugging dozens of cans is never fun.

However, most of them are not 24 hours and close pretty early. The time I went here, it was because Carlo's cats needed to have a check-up because they were visibly uncomfy and we didn't know what to do. :( They have well-skilled doctors and staff. They are patient in explaining the situation and treatment for your furbaby. You can also see they are really concerned with the well-being of your furbaby (which is a quality I highly appreciate in a veterinarian). With Carlo's cats, our doctor found that it was because of something they ate and also that they were not drinking water. So, they were dehydrated. The diagnosis was a big relief for the both of us! Apart from being a clinic/hospital, they also do grooming and boarding. Yes, they have a "Pet Hotel." Though, I think the lodging is a bit expensive for the accommodation your furbaby will get. Honestly, Animal House is more expensive than the other clinics I have gone to. But, they do provide good "pet" service and care. That is hard to find in Makati.

I tried three places already and there was always something wrong after their grooming. When I heard that The Dog Park offered home services, I decided to try them out and I've been loyal to them ever since. I like how they do the grooming in your own home... in my case, they do it in the garage. But I've also asked how they do it in other areas and they said that if there's no garage or garden, they can also do it in a balcony (for condos). Since it's in your own house, you're assured that there wont be any infestation of fleas or ticks from other dogs. They bring everything with them (table, tools and shampoos) and only use your water. I don't mind this at all since they save me on transportation costs anyway. I have been satisfied with their hair cuts and grooming, especially for my Shelties who always look so pretty after they get groomed. I also love how it's so easy to contact them and schedule with them. The Dog Park is actually more than a home grooming service. They are actually mainly a lodging service and a day care for pets. We first tried them out with our newest puppy to see how he liked it there. Let's just say, he loves it so much that when he is in the car and we're nearing the area, he excitedly scratches the door to get out right away. The place is not so huge but big enough for the dogs to run around in. There are also separated areas for smaller dogs and dogs that need more time to adjust. When we bring our dog there, we just leave his food and they take care of the rest. We're so happy that we have a place where we can leave our dogs if/when we go on travel trips. He loves it there so much and enjoys the company of the resident Golden Retriever and resident Husky :)
