This is a great company with fabulous customer service. Their technical support has been a life saver for me. I have talked to Dee, Karen and Rita in customer service and would recommend each of them because they take the time to answer my questions. They have made suggestions and given me links to free recipes. I love the recipe for "Debbie's Sugar Scrub" and it has been a great seller for me. I had one issue with a product and Dee overnighted the replacement product that very same day. I have never found that WSP is "buy at your own risk" as one reviewer implies. There must be more to that story than what is said because I have never found that to be the case. They stand behind their products. This year I have already been given $700 in discounts on my orders with their loyalty points program. No other company wants to reward me for doing business with them. Most of the products I buy are commodity priced such as Coconut 76 Oil, Palm Oil and essential oils. I can't blame WSP for world wide shortages that drive up the price. If their costs go up, so do their prices. I do not expect them to take a loss on a product so I can have a stable price. Likewise, I like that when commodity prices, such as coconut oil go down, they are the first vendor to lower their price. I trust this company. They are reputable and the "real deal". In an industry where companies seem to be going out of business every month, I know I can count on Wholesale Supplies Plus. I recommend it to any serious crafter or small business. read more

After reading all the negative reviews, I felt a need to post a review. I personally can not speak to any of the negative reviews since I am not in those shoes and I can not speak to any of the business ethics reviews as well. I can only give feedback on my personal experiences which I believe go back as far as 2002. I have never received a product with which I was not happy. Anytime I was shorted a product, which I believe happened twice, I was immediately shipped the shortage...no questions asked. The times I have interacted with their customer service regarding questions I had on directions or usage, I have been answered immediately and kindly. Not once have I received an inferior product. Yes, a few things irk me...like the $5.00 handling charge and the price increases. But come on folks!!! WSP has sales on their products weekly!!! And if I find a product elsewhere that I need and is less money, well then I buy it there. And there is only one product that comes under that category. I have been a customer with them for ten years and was happy with the products and service until now. I accidentally ordered the wrong product and thought it wouldn't be a problem to exchange it for the correct product. When I called customer service they would not let me exchange the product and they told me if I wanted the correct product I would have to place a $30 order because that is there policy. I just placed an $83 order so there was not anything else I needed. They were unwilling to let me place my $6 order even though I was willing to pay for shipping. They told me that I could place the order for the $6 item but the shipping would be rounded up to $30, in other words they would charge me $24 for shipping. I find this unacceptable and will not be ordering anything else from this company. read more

I strongly disagree with several of these bad reviewers. I have to wonder what their motives are to all of a sudden post a cluster of bad reviews. This supplier is an industry leader and has been in business for over 10 years. Reputable soapmakers consider this company the best of the best. If it wasn't for Debbie May and Wholesale Supplies Plus my company would not have grown to have sales reps in over 20 states. Their free shipping saves me hundreds of dollars every year. Some of their products, such as fragrance oils, do have a higher price but I believe you get what you pay for. If I wanted to make cheap crappy products then I would shop elsewhere. Whole Supplies Plus is my fav place to obtain soap making supplies. I do it for a hobby, and I love making soap gifts for people. They have good sales, and you don't have to spend a huge amount of money in order to get the free shipping. This is good for me, because I like to order a fairly modest amount at a time. But I always have a new cart started. There is a wide selection of fragrances, bases, colorant, molds, additives, all top quality. They have excellent customer service, and items are well packaged and in excellent condition. Dates are far out in time, you hae fresh products that will last. I love this store ! I live in a part of the country where there are zero stores for quality lotion and soap making supplies,so I have to do 99.9% of my ordering on-line for my business. This store has it all. Not only are the prices reasonable if not lower than most, they also offer free shipping ! They have a wonderful rewards program and the owner goes above and beyond to help with any issues you may have. I have been able run a successful side business using Crafters Choice. The fragrances are wonderful, the ready to use products are great and even containers. First of all I did file a negative review with the BBB. They did not publish it. This company steals. First of all I paid for a product and it was never delivered. See the photos. They are pure fraudsters. Second of all, when delivered not all products are quality made. You can have a scent that smells like pure chemical or just not like a sweet potato pie and they will not replace it. Furthermore I purchased a soap base and it burns. I have purchased soap from other retailers and it did not burn. Buy with caution but do not let 30 days pass without getting your product. They will keep your money. read more

I received my order quickly as always! My items are always packaged well to avoid breakage of bottles. Love the sales, coupons and low minimum requirement for free shipping!! I am hoping in the future WSP might add labels/stickers on tops of their bottles to identify products. I store my bottles in a drawer organizer where i have to lift every bottle to see what's in it. I'm short, so storing them in a cabinet is not a comfortable option for me. I know other aromatherapy brands have stickers on top that identifies what's in them. Wholesale Supplies Plus has quickly become my favorite source of fragrance oils for soapmaking. The selection always exceeds my expectations. They offer sales and promotions regularly. Shipping is free with a $25 order. My orders usually arrive in just a few days. The only drawback is they add a $6 handling fee at checkout. I find such unexpected fees irritating. You think you're getting a killer deal, only to find that after fees it's not as great as you thought. I'd prefer they simply raised prices. That way you know what to expect up front. read more
