Over the last 6 weeks, I have called and left messages, most of which were ignored. When I finally talked to the salesman after 3 1/2 weeks, he said it would be in the next week and he'd call. When I hadn't heard from him a week after that date, he said he'd check on it and get "right back" to me. Again nothing and again he didn't return my message the next day. Luckily, I hadn't paid anything and have since found a screen online. I don't know if this is now typical of YB&D customer service. They converted my fireplace from wood-burning to gas several years ago and I was beyond pleased with their service. I'm disappointed and bewildered as to why the negative service now.

They never seem to have parts in stock that should be there. I recently had my tractor serviced and was told that there would be a 10 day wait. I was told that they could put me on a list and they could pick up the tractor when it was my turn for service. This way I would not be without the tractor for more than a few days. Picked up on a Friday I called on Tuesday to check on progress. I was told it was almost done and they should call later in the day with a total. On thursday I called and asked the status of the tractor. I was told that they were in the Process of installing an air filter. The said that would call later in the day with a total. On friday I got ahold of an assistant manager who assured me he would get the unit back to me later in the day. Delivered on time at least but, the machine was damaged and covered in bird droppings. The damage was to the mower chute. it was broken and cracked halfway up. I washed the tractor before it went out and know every scratch on it. What a lousy place to do business with. If you seek crappy service you can get it cheaper elsewhere.

The salesman related the situation to the owner who in turn agreed to part with an amazing couch and I have somewhere to sit that allows me relief from the pain.
