The level of individual attention and care the children receive daily is nothing short of incredible. From the moment we walk through the doors, you can feel the warm, nurturing environment. Jamie genuinely loved what she does, and it shows in how safe, happy, and confident the kids feel. The growth we have seen in our toddler is amazing. They are learning and thriving so much that I've honestly lost count of how many new words they can say at 19 months old! It is such a joy to see them blossom, and we owe so much of that to the dedicated team here. Thank you for loving our toddler, keeping them safe, and being such an important part of these early years. We couldn't ask for a better village!

We expected tears, anxiety, and a difficult adjustment period--but to our surprise, our baby never cried. From the very beginning, Jamie's calm, nurturing energy made him feel comfortable, secure, and happy. One of the things that immediately stood out to us was how incredibly clean and well-maintained the space is. The environment is bright, open, organized, and spotless every single day. It feels safe, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed for little ones to explore and grow. What has touched us most is the bond our son has developed with Jamie. Seeing him smile and reach for her at drop-off is the greatest reassurance a parent can have. There is no better feeling than knowing your child feels loved, comfortable, and excited to be there. Jamie has a special gift with children, and her warmth, patience, and genuine care shine through in everything she does. Every day we leave knowing our son is not only safe, but thriving in an environment filled with kindness, learning, and love. Jamie gives parents incredible peace of mind, and that is priceless. She's amazing and keeping us updated throughout the day and our baby is always smiling and happy. We are so grateful to have found Tender Years, and we feel incredibly lucky to be part of this wonderful community. Thank you, Jamie, for caring for our son as if he were your own.

My daughter adores every aspect of FTH--from the enriching classes to the academic challenges that have helped her thrive. Now at 5, she even enjoys practicing cursive! What sets FTH apart is how the staff truly gets to know each child. When she first started, she was shy and prone to the typical meltdowns. The team nurtured her and thoughtfully paired her with peers who were a great match for her personality. This personalized care has transformed her into a confident, outgoing child who isn't afraid to try new things or speak up for herself. The blend of diverse personalities among the staff creates a welcoming, family-like atmosphere where strangers quickly become friends. I always feel at ease leaving my daughter in such a safe, supportive environment. I have no doubt she's making lifelong memories, and I highly recommend FTH to any family seeking a nurturing, enriching experience for their child.

We love Michelle--she is hands down one of the most loving, attentive, and nurturing teachers we've ever met. From day one, she treated our son like her own, always on the floor with the kids playing, reading books, doing puzzles, or simply letting him sit in her lap. It meant everything to know he was so genuinely cared for during such an important stage of his life. Kristin runs an incredibly well-organized program and is an excellent communicator. We always knew our son's schedule, and we really appreciated how thoughtfully it was adjusted as he grew throughout his first year. The consistency, flexibility, and attention to detail made us feel completely at ease as parents. We also loved how much time the kids spent outdoors--daily fresh air, play, and exploration were clearly a priority and something our son thrived with. On top of that, the arts and crafts projects are amazing--creative, developmentally appropriate, and such sweet keepsakes. I wanted them to love him and care for him at the same level as I would during his time there. Since joining the Little Angels Family in August 2021, we have received that and much more. Without having immediate family in the Los Angeles area, The School of Little Angels has become just that. They provide the perfect balance of accountability and love to their students. They get to know each child individually and curate experiences to meet their specific needs. We joined during the pandemic when most businesses and schools only allowed students inside to protect students. It was hard not to be able to play with my child in his classroom, but I was grateful for the protocols in place to keep the students safe. During this time, teachers and directors have made themselves available to parents. Whenever I have a question, they are a phone call or text away and respond quickly. I am also grateful because due to their decades of experience, they can help us as first-time parents learn how to navigate changes within our toddlers. The School of Little Angels is the best thing that has happened to our son. He has advanced academically. Within weeks of his arrival, his communication improved; he was using sign language at home and already learning multiple languages. He comes home and teaches them to us! What I love the most about Little Angels is that they are always open to hearing any new ideas and receiving feedback. They partner with parents to achieve the best outcomes for the students. Even after being open for over 50 years, they still strive to be even better. They allow parents to get involved and contribute to the school community. My sons are 2 and 5 months. I'm already sad about the day we will have to leave Little Angels. But I am confident they will both be equipped and ready for Kindergarten.

This school has zero patience for kids!!!…read more The school is nice, but the teachers--at least the 2-3-year-old teachers--are HORRIBLE. I had several safety concerns regarding teachers putting their hands on my child. My concerns were ignored. After each incident, I immediately complained and asked them to review the cameras, only to find out the cameras are live and not recording. I personally witnessed Ms. Young snatching my son out of frustration. After that, I had my son transferred to Ms. Niesha's class. My son then started coming home pinching me whenever he got upset. That behavior was new for him and concerned me. The disappointment continued. Ms. Niesha showed me she had zero patience by being rude to my 2-year-old son and beyond disrespectful toward me. During our conversation, she was yelling, clapping her hands, and approaching me in a way that made me feel like the situation was about to become physical because she believed I was questioning her "skills." In reality, I was trying to calm her down and help her understand that I only wanted to work together to help my son. Imagine a parent trying to calm a teacher down. At that point, I removed my son from this school. I did not feel it was a safe environment for him. This school is an immediate NO for me. Mind you, my son was only here for about six months. If your child is crying and having meltdowns when you drop them off, PAY ATTENTION. Look past how the teachers may come off as "nice" at first and MONITOR YOUR CHILD'S BEHAVIOR. Trust your instincts as a parent.
