New Mom School - Here are some moms I met in the class! We got together at a brewery with the partners and babies!

New mom school became my routine for baby and I. I had seen their flyers in my OBGYN office when I…read morewas pregnant but didn't think much of it. After I had my baby I noticed I had people in my circle that weren't going through the same things as me. Although they had kids, we weren't going through the same thing at the same time. This is when I decided to look for activities I could do with my baby. I was skeptical because as an introvert I was scared to go out with my newborn (he was 3 months at the time) But I'm glad I crossed paths with New mom school again. I signed up and went from Newborn class all the way to their last class of Rising toddler. Through the classes I met many wonderful mamas that were all going through the same things, we could relate in the milestones our babies were having. New mom school had many professionals come in and educate us on things like pelvic exercises, on how to have a safe car seat installed, and even things like how to establish a sleeping schedule for baby. Even though for some this information may sound like it was a no brainer. When you're sleep deprived and learning as you go, as a first time mom I appreciated every advice. I found a village that not only listened to me but they also gave me advice. I loved coming to this place once a week and see my baby grow, and I am sad to reach the end of it. But hope other moms see this and know THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO SIGN UP. You got this!

I signed up for the Newborn Class and it gave me the chance to connect with other moms who have babies around the same age, which made such a difference in feeling less alone during those early months. It also really helped me get out of the house during those tough newborn trenches and feel more comfortable and confident driving around with my baby. It truly feels like a judgment-free zone where everyone is going through the same stage and genuinely understands what you're experiencing. The staff is amazing, and you can really tell they care. Vanessa, the instructor for the newborn class, and Megan, the Program Manager, were especially wonderful--so kind, patient, and incredibly supportive. They both created a comfortable space where no question felt silly, and their encouragement and support helped build my confidence as a new mom. By the end of the class, my baby and Vanessa were basically best friends--she helped me so many times when my baby was fussy and would even keep an eye on her if I needed a quick restroom break, which meant so much to me. I'm so grateful I found New Mom School and definitely recommend the classes to any new moms looking for guidance and a sense of community!

That's when I reached out to Linda, and I'm so grateful I did. She took the time to thoroughly assess our baby and quickly identified a lip, tongue, and cheek tie--something we hadn't realized. Linda clearly explained what was going on and guided us through every step, connecting us with a wonderful pediatric dentist for the procedure and an excellent physical therapist for follow-up support. Thanks to Linda's expert advice, encouragement, and reassurance, I was able to continue breastfeeding successfully. I'm proud to say I exclusively breastfed for a full year, and now begins the emotional journey of weaning. I truly could not have done it without her. I will absolutely reach out to her again when the time comes for future children, and I recommend her wholeheartedly to family and friends. She was an essential part of our journey.

If you're stuck between two lactation consultants, LINDA IS IT. I had bad postpartum depression and I can't even put into words how much Linda helped throughout our time together. I Will continue to stay in touch with her throughout my motherhood journey. What a blessing to have met her.

Now I am 9 weeks postpartum and WOW -- I truly can't put into words how much support and guidance Megan has given me. Before having my baby, I assumed breastfeeding would come naturally, but it ended up being much more challenging than I expected. Megan has been there for me every step of the way. She has taught me so much, always responds quickly with thoughtful and informative guidance, and has played such a huge role in helping both my baby and me succeed in our breastfeeding journey. Food was the worst, and the silverware had to be returned 2x because it was DIRTY! The nurse kept calling me so pretty and Halley Berry for some reason when I look nothing like her. It wasn't a compliment to me it was unprofessional. They took 3hrs after my request to come and help me to the bathroom and no, they were not busy I could hear them laughing and joking outside. They never hooked me up to machine to check my oxygen levels which was the reason I had to stay there 2 days. I might as well have been home. SO that was wasted money spent. They were supposed to get me up and walk me around and never did for 2 days. There was a pain med schedule on the board and they NEVER adhered to it. My surgeon was furious and they blamed ME the patient for not calling THEM when I was literally speaking to them to provide it. Go ANYWHERE but here!!
