I have had to wait THREE days to get an inhaler and was only taken seriously when a man had to call for me. I have had two asthma attacks since my first request for an inhaler and very well could have lost my life if we did not have a spare from my brother at home. Jamie Pietka is a phenomenal doctor and Lakeview medical used to be a phenomenal office but unfortunately the new owner Has dug this place an early grave. If you are a woman DO NOT go here. If you value you or your loved ones lives, do not send them here. If you are currently a patient of what once was Lakeview Medical Center, I highly recommend you go to the office as soon as possible and get access to your medical charts before they are deleted like mine were! I had a wonderful experience with Lakeview medical, but unfortunately that experience is over and I have to do my part and warning others.

I went for a med check and beins Dr legerio retired I saw April. I think she's a DO. She prescribed my meds as Dr legerio normally did every 3 months. I paid my 45.00 copay for the office visit as I usually do. 4 weeks later j get a text message saying pay this 44.00. so I called and they can't help so the give me a # to call and the lady says I owe the money, I said for what it's a standard office visit. She said no you saw a specialist. I said no I didn't I said April for a routine office visit. She yelled at me and said I have the EOB, you saw a specialist. I said no I didn't and told her I was calling my insurance company to report the fraud and she said real quick, I'll take care of this don't worry about the bill. They are over billing people and it's illegal. I reported it to my insurance company anyway. I and my family are obviously done going there. And I hope they get a huge fine for insurance fraud.

The care that you get from Dr. Brett (and Dr. Rygielski, I was honored to be a patient of his, May he rest peacefully) is just that, CARE. It is very hard to find a Doctor that truly cares about their patients and I am so glad that I have found one. Today I had a pre-scheduled annual wellness exam that unfortunately turned into a sick exam because I had contracted Covid. My appointment was turned to a telemedicine sick appointment and after the appointment I was told to drive around to the back of the building so a nurse could Covid test me. This man comes out to my car, opens my door and looks into my ears and listens to my lungs etc. He was not afraid to be around me, didn't treat me like I had a plague and risked his own health to make sure I was okay. I will forever be grateful for the care that is given by this office. Also, Kathy is the sweetest little nurse ever. She's always happy to see her patients, and will always greet you with a smile.

I love that Dr Rubinetti treats a wide variety of care from blood work, physicals, flu shots,diabetes,etc.i called him up gave him my symptoms over the phone he told me he thought i had shingles.He wanted me to come in immediately for test just in case so I could start meds ASAP. I was in his office within 3 hrs and diagnosed with shingles. I started the meds right away. ( extremely painful disease) For as long as I've been going to him he has always caught things early for me which I appreciate. Then, doctor says I have to be present for my mother's appointment despite me saying she wont want me there. What do you know, she didn't want me. They still had me come. I waited nearly 30 minutes for me to have to go ask. They then say I can go home and the doctor would call. She never did. They seem to care, but in the end you're treated the opposite, like dirt. They did not try to fit me in with someone else that day, no apologies for wasting my time, or any remorse at all. Their soonest appointment was over two weeks away. When I said I won't be rescheduling due to them not calling to cancel or apologizing, I was given an attitude and told "we're just trying to help you! but WHATEVER". Poor communication and customer service. I understand the low ratings. I can't see this clinic lasting long with this type of behavior.

I generally just stick to my OB/GYN. I went to Dr. Davis' office for a new patient visit to established care. His office staff was incredibly friendly and they ran very very close to on time (I think he was maybe five or 10 minutes behind) and apologized profusely for being a couple minutes behind. He was kind, thorough, and very reassuring. He took his time and explained everything thoroughly. I felt he spent an incredibly appropriate amount of time with me and I didn't feel rushed at all. Another thing that I find unique about Dr. Davis is that he didn't push meds Down my throat right away, most doctors in his position would've opted to put me on medication immediately. I've only seen Dr. Merkle himself a few times during visits, as I usually see his Physician's Assistants or Nurse Practitioners (either Donna or Beth), but they are always on point and extremely helpful. I never have an issue getting an appointment (even same day!), and the whole office and staff are just wonderful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Merkle and his team if you are in the market for a primary care physician.

Despite this, I arrived fasting for my appointment only to find out she was unexpectedly out. I was given multiple different return dates afterward, none of which were accurate, and the office never proactively communicated the changes. The alternative lab was also closing early because they were overwhelmed, and I was told they would bill the blood work separately from my physical, which was another issue I had to sort out myself. There were also several smaller issues that added to the overall feeling of poor attention to detail, including my height being recorded incorrectly by about five inches and my visit summary documenting conversations and screenings that never actually happened. The PA I saw, Lauren, was very nice and the appointment itself was quick, but I was disappointed with the follow-through regarding my actual health concern and blood work results. Given my history with the issue, I expected more discussion about the treatment options, and the results were ultimately communicated by a medical assistant rather than the provider. I also had an uncomfortable interaction with the phlebotomist, who repeatedly asked for detailed directions to my home, which felt inappropriate and crossed a personal boundary. Overall, everyone was generally polite, but there were issues at almost every step that left me doing far more work than I should have had to. I think this location is probably fine for a routine physical, but based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend it if you need blood work or have more specific concerns.

He is genuinely a nice person who remembers conversations with patients and follows up about concerns. He has delivered my children (when he was an OB) and provided valuable life advice. His practice is wonderful! I checked in online for paperwork and was in and out within 20 minutes.
