My doctor sent me here to be sure that my diagnosis of a broken rib was correct and that there wasn't any further concerns. I called these folks and was instantly impressed. They picked up the phone quickly, we're empathetic with my concerns, scheduled an appointment for a me within an hour and, when I arrived, I was taken to the X-ray area right Away. My tech, I think his name is Nish, was professional, put me at ease despite my issues with sharp pain and got the work done in short order. I was really grateful and impressed. Clean rooms, excellent patient service by a sharp, professional staff, quick results ... my doctor called me with the news that I broke one rib but it wasn't a displaced fracture. All good except for the annoying aches. Highly recommend these folks for the quality, efficiency, and medically accurate service they deliver. Hope I don't need them again but if you do, no better place in the area.

But if you want the short version, I do not trust their front office. They are incapable of managing appointments correctly and information. Their computer system always has a tendency to go down. Also, they confirmed my SOCIAL SECURITY info by reading it to me WITHOUT asking me to confirming the last 4 digits. Medical offices need to ask the patient for the last four confirm. NOT read it out on the phone!!! Very unprofessional and very risky for identity theft!!! Anyways, I originally made an appointment to see Dr. Ring. Went through all the steps on the phone to provide background info, insurance, etc in order to get the appointment. Great! A few days later, I received a packet in the mail to fill out. Awesome! This should save me time the day of the appointment. The day after that, I get a call the front desk receptionist saying that my ORIGINAL appointment date is no longer available, however, I could come at a NEW date to see the other doctor. That's fine. The next day, I get a call AGAIN from the same front desk receptionist saying "something" had happened to their computer system and they needed to get all my info again. This was odd. But, ok. I spend another 30 minutes providing the SAME information again. Then she said that my appointment was for the ORIGINAL date. And, I said that she just called me yesterday to change my appointment to the NEW date. Oh, on top of that, she asked if I was on "Medicare." I had gone through all my information, so I'm not sure where she got that fact from. The week of my appointment, I get yet again ANOTHER call from the same front desk receptionist. This time, she needed to confirm my Social Security number, so she read it to me. No medical professional does that over the phone. On top of that, she asked if my appointment was to come in for a circumcision. Seriously, WTF. I don't know how that even got into their system. At this point, I said forget it. Cancel my appointment, you don't need my information (as the computer system seems to go down often and you read out my info freely on the phone instead of asking for confirmation) and if I do see the doctor, I may not even get the service that I needed. DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION.

In addition to his medical expertise, he's extremely personable and has a wealth of knowledge in the arts, ecology, ornithology, ethology, politics and history. The support staff is a group of friendly, excellent communicators who my two young children seem to like very much. They do a good job of scheduling, always leaving slots available for emergencies and sick visits. They are very good about answering all of our questions and addressing all of our concerns. Dr. S never makes you feel rushed and is totally understanding of the new parent whoas and concerns. The staff at Pediatric Group of WO is also excellent. They keep the office running smoothly and generally on time. The staff does a great job accommodating same day appointments for sick patients. One of the doctors monitors the after-hours answering machine each night until 10pm. After 10pm, a service handles any calls from patients. The waiting room is large -- though there is no separate "sick patient" area.

Traveling home to Ct after college visits in Virginia, we learned that a family member ( with whom we had close contact) had tested positive for Covid. From his home computer, my son in law located this Neighborhood Urgent Care because he calculated that it was within a reasonable radius of our intended route home. A big plus was that walk-ins were permitted. Since we were totally dependent on the vagaries of interstate travel, we didn't have the added pressure of arriving at a precise hour. As soon as we opened the door, we were greeted with a huge welcome and big smiles all around. The place was spotless and staffed by women who clearly understood the value of empathy in crisis. We were given tests after staff members checked our vitals and we answered brief questionnaires. My grandson was not traveling with any health insurance card so the staff calmly walked him through the steps necessary to get that information from this parents to their office. And always with a smile. This same attention to the needs of patients was evidenced days later when I needed a hard copy of my test results. My doctor had it within minutes of my request. In a world where the medical field is dominated by big business and lack of personal attention, this clinic is a breath of fresh air. In contrast to the professional and caring attention we received here, I spent over 40 minutes on hold waiting for someone in my own doctor's office yesterday to pick up so I could arrange a telemedicine visit. I wish I lived near Neighborhood Urgent Care. They are stand outs in the field of medicine.
