I dont like the hotel, this is an old hotel or maybe I stayed in Tower 1. The room is just a typical lodge type hotel. I was disappointed because they are claiming "rediscover luxury" - Nothing is luxurious. If you will go for a family staycation I will not recommend this place because your kids will be passing by the casino area. Breakfast Buffet nothing fancy nor good food just an ordinary food.

LoL my goddaughter collects these every destination. Enjoy ;)

Very decent casino and fantastic hotel. Saw a lot of South Korean waitresses. Very nice and cozy. Meals are pricy though

The pork Sinigang, pancit, and lechon Kawali were absolutely delicious and hit the spot. The next morning, we had a breakfast buffet before checking out and everything was just as tasty. The staff provided excellent service throughout our stay. Highly recommended if you're in the area and looking for a place to stay.

I felt like a princess having all my whims and wishes taken care of with a smile and a positive attitude. When you arrive at the subdivision gate, the guard will greet you: tell them you are here to check in (masks are still mandatory). From the gate, you'll follow the one way arrows painted on the road, stay to your left and you'll see the hotel on your left. The porters will gladly handle all your luggage even though they're short and slight of build: we had three big balikbayan boxes, one person even carried it on his shoulders! Please be generous with the tips because they do work extra hard, and are so very polite: doors held open and greetings of "Morning/afternoon ma'am/sir may I help you?" everywhere you go. I tend to ask A LOT of questions; but the staff gladly answered them all. Their rooms are large, roomy and clean, with a sitting room, and a king size bed with a firm mattress. My husband enjoyed their hot shower, because we don't have hot running water where we live. Ah, the simple pleasures in life! They have 110 and 220 outlets, a fridge, small mini-bar and free WiFi. It's good to know that they have generators on standby for the occasional brown out (blackout). COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST AT MARANAO GRILL (between the reception desk and pool) - longganisa tiny but yummy. They're sweet so make sure to dip it in their vinegar then eat with the eggs and garlic rice. - refillable brewed coffee is good - orange juice - tastes more like orange drink. - bread is made in house and served with real butter from New Zealand (you need to ask for the jam). - fresh fruit I was always the first to arrive at 6am, so I had my own personal waiter for 30 whole minutes. Eating by myself in peace and quiet, listening to the relaxing background music was a little piece of heaven for this super busy gal *cleansing breath in...........and out* They have a small gym next to the linen station (towels available here for the pool and the gym). You can also talk a nice, leisurely walk around the quiet subdivision that surrounds the hotel grounds; there's lots of kitties to play with. Please read this as 4.5. I took off half a star for the little details: closet door & front door that sticks open, landscaping that needs just a little bit more care (you might not notice if you don't garden), no outdoor patio umbrellas near the pool, water hoses lying around for days, no microwave, etc. I rounded up for the top quality care we received from the hard-working and lovely staff.

The outside wasn't very attention grabbing like other casino hotels that I've been to nor seen: very underwhelming. There was nothing much in the way of landscaping neither. The outdoor parking lot doesn't have large trees to shade your car, so be aware if you're there during the daytime: your car will turn into an oven. They do have valet services available. You walk through a metal detector when you enter, but at least security personnel are nice and non threatening. I didn't interact with any of the front desk staff because there were directional signs out. They do have free WiFi; but you'll need a password. The banquet room that we were in was very plain in the way of decor. They did have a raised stage with a large projector screen and some simple colored lights. The linens on the tables were simple and so were the plates, glassware and silverware. The buffet tables were well stocked and replenished quickly except for the appetizers. There was only one server at the buffet table so many of us had to help ourselves. Waiters did the minimal, nothing stood out about the service. Food was barely warm, guess they forgot to light up the heating element under the food warmers. Usually in the case of buffets, I find A LOT of over cooked mediocre food; but I was surprised to find some soft rolls served with real butter, decent salad with vinaigrette dressing, decent rotisserie chicken, and delicious creme brûlée. Afterwards, as a true Asian women, my friends and I were looking for spots to take pictures. Hmmmmm, there really wasn't a spot anywhere where we could take any memorable pictures: no gorgeous decor, no fountains, no sculptures nor beautiful artwork. I couldn't comment on the banquet room nor catering costs; but if you're looking for a gorgeous place to host an event, this isn't the place.

Prices for gambling and drinks are ridiculous. The "security" were rude saying we couldn't go in because of flip flops but let others go in...WITH FLIP FLOPS ON! People walk around here pretentious AF. ACTING rich and a dress code that applies to only some. There is no convenience to this place No gift shop. Not kid friendly AT ALL. I would not recommend this place EVER!!!! Train your staff, courtesy and professionalism, especially for paying guests. Learn to serve the community, not those that pretend they have money and walk around with their noses up.

For me it would be the only reason to stay in Angeles besides maybe having some great Pampangan Food. So what aspects make it great? Pool areas: there is an unbelievable amount of pool area both on the ground floor and in the Aqua Beach Club. So big that social distancing would not be a problem in the pool. There's games that can be played like water basketball and other water games. Drinks can be served at any part of the pool. During the hot humid weather, these pools are an oasis to stay cool. Rooms: the rooms are huge and can hold at least 10 to 12 people for a party. The shower is the best shower I've ever had, it feels like a full body massage. The rooms are sound proof with speakers that hit ridiculously high decimal levels if you are into that. Bed is comfortable. The living room area is cozy and the walls are covered in velvet. I used the giant hot tub every night to relax. There's a large bar area with six stools and a stripper pole that I never used but I'm sure there are some folks that could make use of it. These rooms are worth every penny. Staff: the staff really friendly and provided exceptional service in every department, front desk, pool staff, waiters, front door and security staff, all were top notch. Food: the food and drinks were excellent. And relatively reasonably priced considering it's a five star hotel. This isn't really a family friendly hotel. Like I mentioned at the start, this is the players club if it was a hotel. It's meant for single men. Even though women would also have a good time as well. One of the best hotels I've stayed at.

The pools are really cool and cleaned all the time. Food was simply amazing and worth the price. The rooms are big and comfortable and cleaned every day. The rooftop bar and pool area is a great place to chill day and night. At night, the pool deck converts to one of the best bars and experiences in Pampanga. I have had to call the front desk for more issues and "special requests" (which at any other resort, would be considered normal) more times in the last 24 hours than anyone should need). 1. Key cards don't work- they didn't have the password to activate it so the gave me a master key card- yes-I had access to all rooms. Security is clearly not a concern. 2. Prior to us checking in, they didn't a quality check of the room. So at 5am when 3 of us we're trying to shower and get out to our excursion, the top bathroom had no water for shower or a flushing toilet. The first floor had no hot water- and to make things even more annoying was they thought we just didn't know how to turn on the faucet. 3. The safe does not work- in fact none of the safes work. - again, security is not a big concern. Neither is resolving issues. 4. Apparently house keeping doesn't have a checklist and if they do, checking the amount of toilet paper isn't on the list. So with 3 women in a 2 bedroom loft, with the TP clearly running out, one still has to call to get it replaced. (Does this sound like a 4or 5 star resort to you yet?). Same situation with bottled water. One has to ask for it. 5. They don't have wash cloths (face towels) or loofahs at this "resort". Never in my life and extensive travels, has any hotel not provided a wash cloth. This might sound petty but when you are in a county where it is hot and dusty, it's important. Who packs their own towels when you are going to a hotel??? Even after several calls to the front desk and 2 requests for a manager, no one has even contacted us or acknowledged the issues. It's only my second day into being here and I'm not thrilled but after many flights and hotel check-ins- packing up and finding another resort for a few days is not an option I really want to consider. So we're stuck over paying for 1 star services in a 2 star hotel.

There were about 5 active tables with 3 of them for a tournament. Both cash game tables were full, but they opened up a new table pretty soon afterward. Most players bought in for about $60 so I did the same. I don't know if it was just my table, but players were pretty tight and with ₱20-40 ($.40-$.80) blind structures, you weren't going to make much money. The rake was a bit steep, but never went over the equivalent of $4, but it was pretty tough to get a pot over $50 in it. After about 3 hours of playing well, I made only about $100. It's a good place to kill some time, but don't expect to make much here compared to games in the U.S.
