We flew through Vienna from Florence to Podgorica. The airport itself is modern and clean and seemed large as we navigated from gate to gate. We booked a flight through Austrian Airlines which gave us a 25 minute transfer time but the gate was set to close 10 minutes after our arrival time. We were told the gates are situated right next to each other so we hoped to make the connection. However, when we landed we had to exit the plane outside the terminal and then hop on a shuttle bus to get to the terminal. At that point we literally ran to our gate, which took 15 minutes once inside so we arrived one minute before departure and missed the flight. The next flight was NINE hours later. (Coming back we had 40 minutes to connect and ran through the same drill with about two minutes to spare before the doors closed but fortunately the flight was delayed.) While waiting around the airport all day, we watched several people get yelled at by a Café Vienna clerk for trying to use the WiFi at the tables while she was closing. The café is situated between two gates so it was convenient and, in my opinion, did no harm. I understand not wanting people to sit at tables when they are closed but to sit in a gate chair with your device plugged into a bank beneath an open chair seems reasonable. Overall, this airport provided a very stressful travel experience.

We flew in and out of VIE from LAX, out to VCE and back in from FLR on a recent trip. Things were smooth all the way around. Zero complaints. On our way home I needed to drop by the Global Blue area to deal with Tax Free stuff and I guess messed up after using the self service box and being told it was all approved. I couldn't locate where I'd put my receipts and didn't have the patience to stand in line for more than 5 minutes so I just dropped my stuff in the box without a customs stamp. I later asked at another counter after security if they'd pay it without a stamp and was told no. I explained I've never gotten a stamp in other airports but was told I'd needed one. I wasn't going to fret over a couple hundred dollars but was a tad bit bummed it needed to be difficult. Well... here we are a week later and I just received a text saying my refund was issued. This isn't a tip to say not to wait, my papers may have been completed in a different manner but I did get a refund (or I will in 2-5 days) without the customs stamp. If you're not dealing with Tax Free stuff, disregard all of the above and just know it's an airport where things seem to run quite smooth and easy. All in all, good experience at this airport and very cute Lego guy in the duty free. As a huge Lego fan I always appreciate spotting the creations some of the euro duty free shops have. He was a little tourist guy. Very cute.

One of many favorite airports I've been too. With a long layover this place had some great places to eat and rest. Enjoyed some schnitzel and a Vienna beer in a restaurant by our gate. Food was fantastic, even though it's an airport. Also enjoyed a soft pretzel sandwich for the flight. Great seating areas with modern amenities such as charging stations for guests. Signs and screens were everywhere helping to communicate all information for travelers from all over the world. Staff here were friendly and helpful.

Easy to navigate. Most of the staff are friendly , except for Austrian airlines If you plan to get tax refunds, need to plan out additional hr just to be safe. Go early for duty free shopping, they have lots good stuff there. As for vip lounge, the Vienna lounge is one of the best priority lounges i've been to. Super spacious, has variety types of seatings. Not crowded most of the time. Large selections of drinks and foods. Friendly service. Conveniently located upstairs right outside of duty-free exit. And has its own direct elevator. if you use the priority app , directions to this lounge. It's clearly stated & very easy to find.
This airport was awesome. Easy to use, modern, and stress-free! My mom and I were flying from Vienna to Budapest and arrived with about two hours before our flight. So we used the self check-in kiosk where it printed our bag tags so you can attach then to your bags yourself. You then walk over to a self bag-check area where you put your bag on a conveyer and scan the barcode on the bag with a hand scanner. It weighs the bag on the belt and as long as everything is good - it activates and takes the bag into the back for loading onto your plane. How awesome is that?! We literally didn't stand in ANY lines to checkin or check our bags. Security was fast and efficient for carry-ons but also still pretty thorough and we didn't feel unsafe. Staff were all friendly and our flight left exactly on time with minimal issues with boarding. It was one of the best experiences with flying I have ever had. read more
As our first point of entry to Austria, this set the tone for nearly a week of their mass transit. The airport flowed for easy entry to the EU with a quick trip through Customs and a reasonable wait for luggage. To make it even easier, signage either included English or understandable pictures. Restrooms were easily found along our route and were clean. Yay! On top of all of this, the CAT station is easily accessible to the main Central Station.... we were on our way. read more
Nice airport. We loved the smooth check in with Austria air. Lots of great food and beer, cute souvenirs, nice places to sit, lie down or charge electronics. Clean bathrooms. What's not to love? Great airport experience. read more
Nice airport on our recent vacation. Check in with Austria Air was quick and help is readily available if you need it. There are lots of concessions and shops if you need them and also some very helpful and well located Information areas. It is a large airport but walk times to various gates are not bad. Overall a good airport to fly in and out of. read more

I make a point of leaving for the airport well ahead of schedule to avoid the stress that befalls many travelers when they don't budget enough time to clear security and customs. But occasionally, I break my own rules and mayhem inevitably ensues. Take last week in Vienna when I arrived at 12:15 for a 13:00 flight. I was all but certain I'd be denied boarding and mentally attempted to prepare myself a plan b whilst at the same time thinking positive thoughts "I will make this flight, I will make this flight." Amazingly, my tale does not conclude with me running through the terminal, nor missing the flight. I simply printed out my boarding pass and sauntered to the gate. Since both security and immigration is taken care of at each individual gate, I only had to queue behind folks getting on my plane, as opposed to every other flight in the general time vicinity. Four stars for the Vienna airport for saving me the crushing defeat of missing my flight home! read more
Wasn't very impressed with this airport. Quite small, smoking areas right next to the gates vs tucked away somewhere to keep the smoke away from those sensitive to it, like me. The restaurants were not easy to find nor was the navigating of if you go through immigration or bypass that to a connecting gate as the connection monitor is not well 'advertised'. Like Frankfurt's airport, I'll be adding Vienna as one to avoid in the future if my flight isn't directly to that city. read more

The airport of Vienna is one of my fav's for transfer when enroute to our office in Poland. The airport is compact, handling is great and has it has super facilities to spend the time reading or browsing the internet using one of the "kubicles" that are available at the gate.. read more
Vienna airport is not huge compared to say, Frankfurt, but still big enough to get lost so staff hospitality is really appreciated here. Good thing is that all of them speak decent English and will even give you an occasional smile. Surely something that is missing at most US airports.., Flughafen is connected with downtown Vienna with the train so I assume it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to not drive. But since Vienna wasn't the final destination for us we opted to get a rental car and that was perhaps the most confusing thing about the whole experience. All of the rental car counters are located in the same spot in the garage, some 10-15 minute walk from the customs. Not ideal when you have all the luggage on you. Returning the car also wasn't as easy as it could be with all the one way traffic. I missed one turn and ended up back on the freeway, going the way we came from. As far as dining and shopping options, it's not the best and it's not the worst. Duty Free shop is not that cheap as you'd expect and fragrances and liquor are pretty much the same price as in the States. For smokers, cigarettes are cheaper than in most US states, but about the same price if you'd buy them at Tabak kiosks. Taking into account the convenience, ease of getting through security and staff attitude, for a major European airport, Schwechat airport is probably as good as it gets. Not perfect but so is not anything in life. read more
11/7/2013 My husband and I were on a lay-over here in the Vienna Airport...(what was suppose to be a 1.5 hour lay-over turned into a 3.5 hour lay-over due to delays). Good thing this airport has some cush "sofa-beds" available at the end of the terminal we were in. They were black colored, and we saw many people napping on them as they waited for their planes to depart. We were able to rest a bit on these sofa-beds before our flight departed. At the end of the terminal we were in, there was also a "relaxation room" - a room designated for some quiet sleep time (about 5-6 sofa beds were in there) and we saw many people sleeping in there. It was a bit stuffy though, so we didn't venture in any further. If you want to charge your phone, you may have to sit at a cafe near the duty-free shopping area, as we didn't see any outlets where we could plug in our devices for a quick charge. Plus, I didn't have the plug for Austria...bummer. All in all, my husband was impressed by the airport and the fun shops where we could pick up some Austria/Vienna magnets, get some "Mozart" related gifts, and enjoy the cleaniness of the venue itself. Right outside the airport, there was so much greenery -- lush green pastures that we could see miles on end. Very peaceful and serene. As you fly into Vienna, it's very much open space, green pastures, and hills all around...We enjoyed our quick lay-over here in Vienna, Austria! BTW - bonus was that this airport had FREE wi-fi! :) read more
Clean, user friendly, new, free wifi, decent selection of shops, great and helpful mini post office, friendly staff. All you want from an international airport. Let me repeat that FREE WIFI! Thats something that doesn't happen too often these days. Its stable and after a 1 minute click and accept process you can surf the interwebs to your hearts content! read more
In most aspects, this is a very traveler friendly airport - my perspective is one of someone coming from/going to a non-Schengen country so keep that in mind. *Free WIFI. That is absolutely wonderful for those of us with non-European phones *Great public transport connections. You can take the CAT train direct to Wien Mitte for Eur $13 or the S7 for $4.40. (The S7 stops a few times but still gets you to the airport in about 25m) *Lightning fast passport control *Lightning fast baggage retrieval. I think we waited less than 2 minutes, and our bags were amongst the first on the belt. *Reasonable number of eating options post-security. In the G gates, there's a Demel café, a few snack bars/coffee shops and of course, a giant Duty Free. *Clean, reasonably comfortable gate areas that looked newly remodeled Room for improvement: *Most of the shops (let's say a pharmacy or someplace to grab an on-board snack) are pre-security. Once you go past that, it's what the Duty Free has only, which is minimal. *The Austrian Air business lounge was pretty subpar Overall, this is one of the nicer airports I've been through and very traveler friendly! read more

The setup is not very good. There is almost no seating and especially no outlets outside of border checks. Entering through passport check gets you into another waiting are before security screening. Here are some seats and outlets (even planned for USB), but 2 out of 3 had no power. Overall very convoluted with mediocre signage and very inconvenient waiting spaces. read more

The staff was absolutely revolting. There was atrocious service. Just because we sat in the business section instead of economy so they made my group recheck our entire bags and make us late boarding our flight. Actually terrible. read more
Efficient airport not too far away from central Vienna. Easy to drive yourself (Hertz) and very practical drop off of rented cars. Short distance to walk for international departures. Fast check in and drop off of luggage. In summary, very handy and recommended. read more

The trip to he airport by S7 direction Wolfsthal or the CAT (green Train) is very comfortable. The costs 2,--€ equal one train zone. The labeling at the arrival is not even bad, but if the platform is crowded by people you cannot see it anymore, because it is far too low. What sweeps you off your feet is the fact that for the way to go to the airport is 2,--€, the way back 4,--€!!!! Absolutely unlogical. Arrival hall People wanted to save elevators by installing a broad ramp. For handicapped people, mothers with baby carriage, small children, old people this carries a very high potential in case of an emergency. Besides walking when you are handicapped is very difficult because of the gradient. The elevators are far not enough and far too small. Besides the programming of the elevator driving times and when it should go up and when down is a big problem with almost all underground elevators in Vienna (especially U1/U3 St. Stephan's Place, center - which is bad because it is one of the major places in Vienna, tourist attraction and carries lots of potential for danger - mass of people, too small, people are squeezed in and the elevator goes up and down for 10 minutes, because it is sooo slow and people push and push and push because they are impatient and angry). Here, at the airport it is the same. The elevators are far too small for families, handicapped people and baby carriages. There are some possibilties, a suite for sitting, very fashionable, leatherlike, modern style, but very uncomfortable and much too small. It reminds on this high type of chairs at a bar counter. This type of bench is very unpractical especially when you have your luggage with you and when you are smaller than 5 foot 10 and that is more than half of the females. The toilettes are clean, modern, bright and free of charge - super! Only negative point - the door knobs are too small for old people and can be only opened with difficulty. The arrival hall is divided into three walking areas. A left, a middle (the ramp) and a right part. The left and right part (walking areas) are far too narrow, even when there are only a few people you have problems in case somebody has luggage - this is an airport!!! The building got, compared to the old one, narrower, but higher to get more light into the building at the expense of space for passengers and the ways are much too long for walking, for handicapped people, families - potential of lost kids!!! - people with walking problems and - airport staff walking 500 times back and forth those ways, because you cannot use the elevators!!! Besides there is not enough personnel for the amount of people that already arrived when the building was old - the amount of passengers increased - so this should be changed pretty quick. The arrival and customs area got even smaller than larger and you have to pass by if you want to leave the airport - people have to wait till the can leave because the area is so small. Was even better with the old building. The biggest problem at the whole airport is the fact that the information desks are sometimes uncovered for more than two hours and flights arrive!!! There is a McDonald (green!) very stylish, but better than the usual places. There is Caffè Ritazza, a real nice big coffee shop, daryou get the impression that the coffee shop is bigger than the arrival hall! Admiral Wett-Café is a coffee shop where you can also bet. There is a BIPA store, a drugstore, not bad when you work at the airport or need something when you arrive late or early arrival, because downtown everything will be closed. The SPAR and SPAR GOURMET is a higher class supermarket, but and this is a plus, especially at the airport, also have special offers. The ANKER bakery is one of the best I have ever seen! Lacking space, the Check-in counters are also crowded and placed in such a way that there is not enough space for the amount of passengers AND the luggage. Anger is pre-programmed! A test operation always depends on the parameters and if they are not focusing on realty, then you get a situation like now. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. Departure hall Here the ways are even longer, there are conveyor belts to bring the passengers from one place to the other, but it is still too long. At other airport, that are even bigger than Vienna, this works much better (London Heathrow) because people took more care for the passengers and their needs. People miss shops . There are mor sittings, but you cannot see the screens with the flight data!!!! The labeling is a big problem, there are some temporary solutions that have been already placed, but you cannot keep them forever, especially at an international airport like Vienna. Positive is that the hall is bright and it looks modern. Summarizing, I have to say for the amount of money and the time spent , a better job could have been done. The airport staff does its best to compensates for what is lacking - hats o read more
Large, clean, a bit of a walk in certain areas but that's what you should expect in an airport. Flying IN: Got here pretty late in November and it was about 2 degrees C so walking from our terminal to the car rental office was a bit uncomfortable, but that's just me being an idiot and not properly preparing myself for the weather. Coming from Southern California, "cold" to me is jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt. When I walked outside, I was more confused than cold. Signs are in German and there's not as much English as I would like or expect but that's fine because you can't really fly anywhere in the developed world these days not be able to figure out where you need to go unless you're just an apocalyptic moron. Staff are attentive and friendly by Austrian standards. Coffee is good. Terminals are spotless. Flying OUT: Don't get weirded out by airport security walking around with assault rifles. It's normal. Flew out very early so we got to check-in ahead of time to request upgraded seats. Shuttles and staff were equally as efficient during the day as they were at night. Trams taking you between wings of the airport are fast and spacious. Due to the weather that day, we had a bit of a delay, and our boarding was from the tarmac in heavy freezing rain. Exciting. It made me appreciate my seat even more. Some of the waiting areas feel like fish tanks with no restrooms. You have to walk through various waiting areas to get to a bathroom or a service counter for water or whatever you might to buy when you're bored. Other than that, I have no complaints. read more

Why can't all airports be this efficient? It's very nice and easy to get around. It's not a huge airport but they have SO MANY destinations! It's so easy ugh I don't know how else to explain it. If you're staying in the city there is an express train to take you there. Uber has the ability to pull right up to where you are and pick you up.. where does that happen still? read more
Our group had a terrible time at the Vienna airport. I was traveling with a large group, and they decided to pull some of our group for a "random security check" as we were boarding. Although they were promised that the flight would be held for them, they were directed to another gate where they were made to unpack their entire carry-on bags. Then those of us who had boarded the flight were told that the rest of our party would not be getting on the plane. We complained that this wasn't fair, and they were eventually let back on the plane. That didn't stop a gate attendant and first class passengers being extremely rude those in our party - blaming them for holding up the plane when it obviously wasn't their fault at all (WHO PULLS PEOPLE ASIDE FOR A SECURITY CHECK WHEN THEY ARE IN THE PROCESS OF BOARDING? OF COURSE IT WILL END IN DELAYS)! It was one of the most frustrating airport experiences of my life, and most airports are pretty terrible to begin with. Everyone we dealt with here was ruder than necessary or acceptable. I'll definitely try to avoid this airport in the future. read more

Nice airport with many shops at the lower arrival hall. You can get the usual global restaurant like MacDonald and Starbucks you also get the local ones here. The supermarket here is the Spar gourmet which is smaller than those big interspar. You get free Wi-Fi here to update your Yelp. LOL. The domestic departures (gate F) had better amenities like private table for computer work that is not available in the international terminal or I cannot find any. Nevertheless they had usb connectors so you do not need an adapter to charge your device. I think gate F is newer. read more
This is a pretty decent airport with good logistics and good services. The architectural style and layout are aesthetically pleasing. The transportation options are decent with train, bus and taxi services. Our taxi from city center turned out to be a reasonable price. We had a flight out at midday and found the check-in procedure to be pretty efficient. The security process was also well-organized with no inordinate delays that we experienced. We found the services in the secured area to be adequately plentiful. We took advantage of the Daily Roast Restaurant and were favorably impressed with the service, food and coffee. We found the gate area to be reasonably comfortable while we awaited our boarding. In general, as one who has used 300 or so airports, I would say this one is definitely above the norm. read more

hey guys today i write to you as i return back from the depths of hell ehich would be my self induced state of being sick last night for some reason unbeknownst to me i yarfed multiple times despite only have like two sips of beer unfortunately this left me less than fit for my travels and i was in absolute shambles pulling up to the airport. i have never felt such pain and agony so early in the morning but yet i persevered if not a day. after the trials and tribulations of security i made it to the other side with no thoughts in my head but rather it was as if a ping pong ball was being tossed around inside or perhaps a windchime for the first time in my life i saw a green apple and instead of dismissing it right away as i normally would something about it was intriguing and extremely appetizing i have never felt this way about an apple before but suddenly this apple took all of my being and i had to have it. later in our journey i experienced a similar sense of euphoria when i met eyes with the avocado wrap from the stand near our gate. needless to say it was extremely bus so much so that i went back to get a second one i wish i could eat one for the rest of my life every day forever and ever. the airport itself is quite nice but nothing special as far as airports go thanks for watching see you guys soon read more
My opinion of Vienna airport increased substantially the more I use it. They have very short ways and the new T3 is maybe not the most logical, but certainly a very comfortable terminal. The Austrian Airlines lounges are awesome, especially their food beverage and magazines offering. Shops & Restaurants are good and now there's even a Jamie Oliver restaurant outlet. The train connection to the rest of Austria is now perfect with the Railjet integration into the terminal. Way to go! read more

Great AirPort with outstanding signing and therefore navigation is easy. The New F wing is a very (!) long walk so if you are expected at F35 or so count 1,5 Miles extra in.. I would like to write a review that starts with a question. I would ask why I like this airport so much. My review would then mention the commodious space beyond security and the variety of shops and eateries. I might complain gently about the check-in hall, but that would only be because arriving at 5:00am, I've spent too much time there. I'd like to do a review like that because, after all, what's the point of an airport review? It's not like you are going somewhere else if the bathroom is dirty. But Yelp! robots don't like questions, especially when they show up in the first few sentences. Apparently, the Silicon Valley geniuses can't program irony into their apps. The best thing about airport reviews: they provide a moment of distraction while you wait for your airline to sort out that mechanical delay. I hope this has been helpful for you--- and hang in there. read more

It's an ex-pat traveler's dream come true. 1. Free wifi (yes! and its quite reliable!) 2. Starbucks with ample and comfortable seating. 3. International bookstore (People Magazine, only $10, sarcasm). 4. Plenty of nice food options, cafe. 5. Quick, easy, efficient security screening. 6. Easy temp parking for cars that are dropping you off (taxis, et al). 7. Easy/cheap bus transport from Vienna (check Vienna Airport Bus listing!) 8. Did I mention free wifi!? FREE WIFI! For everyone! I hadn't remembered until I was sitting there...that I spent a night in the Vienna airport about 10 years ago en route from Sydney to Detroit. If you were stuck and 20 and homesick and exhausted, I guess this is one of the better European airports to be so. Also, can someone explain Niki Airlines to me? I'm confused. So much pink. Such small seats. Someone help me understand. Is it the European version of Southwest? read more

On my whirlwind tour of central Europe, I ended up in Vienna Airport three times and my impression diminished on each journey. Let's just say that traveling through Frankfurt really spoiled me. Access to the airport is very easy. Don't bother with the CAT train, which is far more expensive, when the S7 towards Wolfsthal will take you into the city for 2.10€ on a slightly slower ride, about 25 minutes to reach the First or Second District. Regular service throughout the day allows for easy connections from across the city on the reliable S-bahn. Signs in English and German direct traffic to the train lines directly adjacent to the Arrivals Hall. Getting about inside the airport is straightforward thanks to clear markings, helpful staff, and good information kiosks and maps posted throughout the Arrivals Hall. A staffed desk provides further assistance for making connections, but be certain not to end up in the clutches of the rapacious transportation companies offering to drive you into the city. Certainly not necessary with the excellent public transportation options at hand, and the taxis in particular charge high fees. The Arrivals Hall boasts two levels of services. Restaurants fill the top level. On the ground floor are the aforementioned transportation companies, a florist, several small gift shops, a BIPA for toiletries and perfumes, an Apotheke chemist for pharmaceuticals (but good luck finding it, we had a rough time when looking), a McDonalds/McCafe, and best of all, a Spar Gourmet grocery store that stocks everything from cheese and sausage to cookies, fresh produce, and premade salads. If you have a long wait, this is a much better alternative for a healthy meal than anything inside the airport. For a city as central and large as Vienna, Flughafen Wien is small and lacks services inside and at the departure gates. For our flight to Berlin, we missed a chance at lunch in the Arrivals Hall and trusted the gates would have something passable. After passing security, travelers go through a sprawling duty free store seen in pretty much every German and Austrian airport. Lots of alcohol, mid-range cosmetics, and the occasional snack, but nothing to dine on. Frankfurt has a number of cafes strung out along the terminals, and a much smaller selection with a deli, bakery, and snack/pastry place filled the hub just outside the duty free shop. But given we were taking off from the far end of the airport, we wanted a sandwich and expected we might find something along the way. Wrong. Queue another duty free outpost, Hugo Boss, and a "coming soon" sign for an Italian coffee place. The vending machines were barren of anything but apple juice on one forgotten rack, and I wonder whether the coffee machine had any hot water left in it. Very disappointing on the whole. Secondly, only one hotel is adjacent to the airport which makes for considerable inconvenience for international flights leaving early. For our 6AM flight, we had no choice but to either wait many hours in the airport (and luggage storage fees are -steep-, 4€ per item for small, much higher for rolling bags) or pay for a room. We took advantage of the room because I felt under the weather. With one choice, though, expect to shell out 120€ per night unless you can score a deal on a travel site. Flughafen Wien offers free wi-fi (max 1 hour - not helpful!) and lots of plug-in ports with comfortable, padded seats. The airport is extremely clean inside, washrooms are easy to find, and the terminal has a clean layout. read more
With all the time I spent in Vienna airport during my travels it feels like second home. It serves as a primary airport for all Eastern European flights, so naturally, if I fly to back to motherland and want to go to one of European countries afterwords, I always end up here. I was lucky enough to be at new Terminal (Check-in-3) right after it opened its doors in 2012. One of the best terminals I been to (and I've seen a lot), with modern, airy architecture, massive glass facade, streamlined customs, services, and easy transfers. ZeitRaum art installation and waiting area at new terminal is worth noting. I had to spend rather long time at waiting lounge between flights, and it is something else. Leather couches/seats are comfy enough to steal a nap. Or several naps. Music/soundscapes playing from built-in speakers are interesting and relaxing. Yes, it is weird - considering it is data from control towers transformed into sounds, but it's strangely enjoyable. The other part of ZeitRaum project are "textscapes", digital screens with waves of letters that interact with one's movement thru terminal. Really cool to watch. Plenty of shopping at new terminal and several places to grab a bite. Awesome. But what about old terminals, you would ask? They aren't bad either. Lots of shopping, people-watching and running around from flight to flight, like any other airport. Oh, and Vienna International is non-smoking airport. If you are a smoker, proceed to one of those glass boxes they built all over the airport, so I can have my laugh watching you. (People make dumbest faces when they smoke, I swear!) read more
Water - Terminal D has no free water and even confiscates water you are carrying off a plane when you are in transit. Dehydration - Airlines are always recommending that you drink plenty of water and other fluids on long flights Vienna Airport for me will always be that place I spent 2 hours dying of thirst as I waited for my flight to London after a 10 hour flight from Bangkok. With no Euros and my bank cards not activated for use in Europe I have to do without money for 2 hours, but surely I can still get water from a fountain somewhere in a spanking new terminal? No. Not in Vienna. read more
ooooh Vienna. I was just passing through this airport and its all new and shiny. It is also very very quiet. Its obviously been built under the assumption that the transport hub is going to get bigger. You have to walk long distances but lots of the process is automated so there's minimal queuing for anything. I had a couple of hours to kill here and wanted to work, so I was so delighted to get to my departure lounge and find these little work stations - comfy seats with a little desk built in, and free wifi. It was just exactly the thing that I needed. read more
It's a pretty good airport for the most part. A bit spread out, I landed at Terminal B and had to trek over to Terminal D. Not a bad walk but no real direct way to get there. Down a bunch of hallways, into an elevator that was actually 3 feet wide, and then another hallway and then through security again. Terminals B and C have lots of shops, eateries, etc. Once into Terminal D and past security there is one tiny little store and two vending machines selling soda and fruit juice for €2.50. Ouch. No cash machines past security either. Would have given it 4 stars but dropping to 3 due to Terminal D. read more

The airport (or at least the terminal I arrived in) was nice and new and it had free Wifi available. A bunch of the gates had really nice seating areas, with WiFi and a bunch of sockets to charge all your devices. A major downside I found to be the payment options for the public transit. At the counter they only took cash (with no sign anywhere indicating so) and at the vending machine only major credit cards. Also there are only few ATMs available, which complicates the entire thing. The cafes and general food is also rather pricy. But all in all a nice, sleek airport. read more
