The entire purpose of online ordering is convenience. It's supposed to save time and let customers skip the wait. And if someone chooses a pickup time and decides to show up late? That's on them. The app literally lets you choose "pickup now" or schedule a pickup time. If I'm ordering ahead, I shouldn't still be standing there for 30 minutes while watching everyone else get served first. She even offered to take pictures of the current cakes and text them to me since I live so far away. I asked her to use some purple, gave her the words to put on top and told her beyond that I trusted her opinion to just make it look nice. She went above and beyond.
