I asked about tank rental for my home and she said they had a minimum 125 gallon tank but was not able to give me a rental price. I also asked what the going rate for propane was and she didn't know but guessed around $5 per gallon. It was as if she had better things to do than help out a potential customer. No thanks. I'll go elsehwhere. I did fill my tanks at the Chevron and got excellent service. Propane was a little over $3 a gallon.

They require you to leave pallets on the floor (which they provide) so there is air flow and your things aren't on the ground. But, I just cleaned out my unit, after a huge week-long rain and wind storm, and it was completely dry in the unit. Staff was easy to work with, gate worked perfectly. They even have a barrel with lovely-smelling roses by the key pad to leave the facility. Nice little touches like that make a big difference. They're only closed a few days of the year, otherwise access is 7am to 7pm, if I recall correctly. Office hours are a little different, but they do have someone in the office 7 days a week - except for those few days they're closed for holidays. They let me pay my monthly fee over the phone with a debit/credit card, too, which was really convenient for me. They gave me a check for my deposit the same day I moved out, and they didn't require notice to move out. They're just really easy to work with. I never encountered any sketchy types and always felt perfectly safe. I'd use them again if I ever needed to, without shopping around, and even if they cost a little more. Happy customer here.

We had previously been calling other ports on our way south from a the Columbia River with absolutely no luck. We left a message on the answering machine and within 30 minutes got a call back. Turns out it was the proprietor's day off and he called anyway! What happens next is nothing short of amazing. He drives down to our boat to see if we can make a repair with his equipment and then loads our sails and takes us back to his shop. What an awesome human being!!! Keep in mind that his specialty isn't sail repair but he helped us out anyway. With our repairs complete we're continuing our journey south to San Diego. Rommel, you are our savior! When I picked up my van, both arm rests spun around in circles and the passenger seat would not recline. "Bring it back in a few weeks and I'll fix it". Mr. Gil replaced a cable that allowed the passenger seat to now recline and he fixed one arm rest from spinning around but I would need to return again for him to fix the arm rest on the passenger seat.
