PREJUDICE as they come! If your skin is not white beware! As soon as we .Mexicans.walked in they looked at us as if we were bothering them. Never greeted or asked if we needed help. When we asked a question on prices the heavy set older man looked at as like we were stupid. Then their phone rings and he takes the call instead of putting it on hold. I have been in the neighborhood for decades and thought of this place as a close by facility to rent the tools if needed. I decided to give this place a try and rented a power wash. Once reached at the site of work the water hose started de-latching from the power wash coupling and upon inspections the spring load on latch was not releasing to create a secure lock (as the appear to be stuck within the groves). I took the power wash back and the technician and with some trial and error he was able to fit it in (tribal knowledge - special technique needed) - On the contrary the Spray gun lock was working just fine (with similar locking mechanism - standard push and lock) I lost almost two hours to fix a wear tear problem with the push lock - plus the the haste of loading and unloading the washing several times. This resulted in completing my work with quite a considerable delay - which I ended up paying as an extended rental time. In my opinion, The equipment preventive maintenance has not been performed periodically require some work around (non standard techniques) that customers shall be required to learn on their own time. The best part is that Weist Rental would charge you for that inconvenience and time lost to fix wear and tear issues. The operating instructions given at the time of delivery were also a 'trap and blame' for misuse. Example: 'Don't walkaway from the power wash for more than a minute as the motor will burn due to the problem with safety interlock not working properly" - Makes you think "What???" I think the Wiest Rental should consider extending general courtesies to their customers for the time lost with the genuine problems and adopt a good preventive maintenance program to address wear and tear and general maintenance "so" obvious with their equipment - customer experience is the key to grow any business.
