I asked someone stocking the shelves where an item could be found. I didn't bother taking a basket because I was only going to buy one item. I then picked up almost $60.00 of stuff, mostly smaller item. The person stocking the shelves was up at the cashier and told the cashier that I may have pocketed or lifted an item. I told the shelf stocker I found the items I had been looking for and paid. Not only did the cashier give me a bag that was much too small for all the items I had, but she had also a given a previous customer a larger green bag who had the same number of items, she repeatedly scanned the bag to make sure they would not trigger the alarm when I left. this indicated to me she expected me to trigger the alarm with some item I tucked away and could then say it could NOT have been an object in the paid for bag. I walked out with no alarm sounding. I believe I was being profiled and that most likely while the focus was on me there could have very well been someone else ripping off the store.

The place is tiny but they have more wigs in the back. Ceil helped me find a wig that was similar to my natural hair style and then helped me to choose a custom color. I ordered the wig and when I picked it up she was kind enough to show me how to put it on and care for it, she also made some quick adjustments to the cut as needed. Although, I wish this place was Black-owned, the employees working here (two amazing Black women) helped me feel comfortable and at ease. The young lady assisting on the sales floor was amazing! I didn't catch her name, but she definitely had the expertise that I needed. I went in for hair fit goddess locs And had no idea where to start. She walked me through everything, made recommendations, and even recommended a few things that I needed and hadn't even thought about. Between her and the girl at the front, I definitely felt very well taken care of. I would highly recommend solely because of these two individuals. And Based on how the young lady on the sales floor was speaking, I'm pretty sure she does hair, too, which makes me feel even better about her recommendations.

I planned a consultation at Hairs 2 U to coincide with my time in town. Ms. Arnold was patient as she explained the different types of wigs, and tried a few on me before I felt I had the perfect fit! She then made sure that I knew how to take care of it, how to style it, and how to re-order it (or any of the styles) online. Although I live in Atlanta, where there are PLENTY of wig shops, I will continue to buy from Hairs 2 U - I love their mission, and I love my new wig!

After my…read moresister had emergency surgery in Dec 2016 for stage 3 Ovarian Cancer, I went to NJ to care for her for several months while she went through chemo treatments. Angelic Care was listed as a wig provider by my sister's insurance, paying up to $500 for a human hair wig. Sometime in Feb 2017, I went with my sister to look at wigs. The shop barely had any actual wigs to try on and those that were there were all short wigs. My sister wanted a human hair shoulder length/long hair wig in a reddish color with blonde highlights. She tried on several of the short wigs but did not like them and as you can imagine, it's hard to tell what it would actually look like unless you try it on. Roxanne showed her some pictures of wigs online and my sister selected one which is similar to the strawberry blonde one in the picture attached; which is one she purchased herself at a different wig salon for several hundred dollars. She picked the color off a color wheel, also similar to the picture attached. It had to be at least four weeks before she actually received the wig since I returned to Cali Mid-March and my sister received the wig after that. This long leadtime was due to Roxanne cancelling my sister's appt. twice. As soon as my sister went to pick it up, she realized the wig was not the one Roxanne showed her online. In retrospect, I regret not taking a picture of the wig or writing down the model number. The wig was short and it actually looks like a synthetic wig (see pictures of that wig attached). My sister repeatedly called Roxanne for a replacement but Roxanne never returned her calls. I tried to call Roxanne starting sometime in May thru July and she never returned any of my calls. She was paid at least $500 by the insurance company and she never provided the actual product my sister ordered. SHAME ON THIS PLACE for taking advantage of a cancer patient!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister did not have the strength to continually call or complain as she was dealing with physical and emotional issues during chemo treatment and the loss of her hair. 25+ Years in the business? She should be shut down. BEWARE OF THIS SCAMMER TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SICK CANCER PATIENTS! Shame on any Insurance company that continues to recommend her. The reason I am writing this review months later is because I could not find her business on Yelp. I thought she was in Neptune and the Lincroft address did not initially come up.

Didn't have any trouble billing my insurance over 4000.00 for the wig that I got( which was supposed to be real human hair and was not) . Any whooooo. Glad I'm done with her and her company. Please do your homework and research.
