BEWARE!!! Communication was excellent but it went downhill from there. 5 men arrived, very friendly and moving quickly then it seemed to slow down and some started moving 1 small box at a time. What was supposed to be 3-6 hours became 9 hours. They began creating their own, "dump pile" from items in the garage and offered to take displaced items there. They DID encourage me to go through things that I wanted to keep. However, they decided to trash a lot of items they didnt feel like moving or damaged ( my children witnessed it). Im missing an ottoman cushion, 2 drill sets, a stand lamp and various other household items. By the time they moved items to my new home, they stacked heavy boxes ontop of boxes clearly marked " FRAGILE". They broke a box full of glass items including a memory candle holder, a 100yr old crystal dish that was my grandmother's, the leg off of my coffee table (which they tried to tape back on)​, and left gouges in my expensive 2yr old, solid wood chest and Bed. Im almost certain, they left stabilization planks off of the mattress platform when they attempted to reassmble it. When they "got done" moving items...(many still left behind in the yard), they began "cleaning"...which consisted of sliding debris in the sink and attempting to drown it down the drain, "sweeping the floors", and hosing the back yard. Anyone who has moved know that deep cleaning is required...not by pushing dirt around from furniture movers. Lastly, they told me the dump run would be $500...something I could have done on my own for FREE as the dump is 5 mins. away from me. I was offered a small discount but it came nowhere near the damage and cost to replace some irreplaceable items. read more

They attempted to change the move time the night before the scheduled move, when other subcontractors had been hired and arranged. I had to practically beg for them to keep the start time the following morning. The morning of the move, when they were supposed to be there at 9 AM, they called at 9 and said their truck liftgate had problems. They were 45 minutes away, and calling me at the time they're due to show up is just unprofessional and unacceptable. It cost me money since I had to send the subcontractors home, I had to plead with the customer not to cancel our contract because the move had been postponed, and all because of Wikiwiki. Way overpriced . Quoted about $2000 to move from west side to east side and it ended up costing $4100z The estimated time immer were quoted , was way off as they took their time ( except for 1 of the movers who did most of the heavy work . . They were suppose to cone back the second day to move our boxes that we had packed and they called and said they were too tired , too worn out from moving our furniture and rescheduled for another day . No moving blankets used, only Saran wrapped some of the furniture which of course left quite a bit of damage on all of our furniture as well as stains . They also did not put together our bed correctly and never hooked up the lighting on the bed or the components that make it an adjustable bed . They drove into our back yard with their heavy trucks , though I told them not to , since it was so wet from the rain and they left deep tire markings all over . Of course the stairway corners are damaged as well since nothing was wrapped with blankets. Floors were not protected either and I ended up having to lay down flattened boxes as they rolled their dolly's in and out of the house on off white carpet . read more

They were on time (within the 30 minute window), loaded up my belongings and were on their way. Once they arrived at my home they had to finish the job that the other company just left in the garage so that took time before they were able to unload their truck. They had to make a few trips back & forth to the storage facility because this was 2 large storage units. They brought everything in with care, unwrapped the major items and set everything up! They took away all the wrapping & boxes and even those that I was trying to unwrap myself. They don't stop until the job is done; even if it takes them to midnight! Although our move from Honolulu to Seattle took place four months ago, we wanted to share our experience. From the initial estimate to the final delivery, the entire process was extremely difficult due to poor time management, lack of communication, and inadequate customer service. We initially placed some trust in the mover, Chris, because he was introduced as a fellow member of the Kingdom Hall. Even though he repeatedly missed scheduled appointments, we tried to be understanding. However, our trust quickly diminished when he demanded additional fees (we paid an extra $500) and failed to honor the original estimate. We were told the shipment would take approximately one month to arrive, so we booked our flights for 20 days after pickup. Instead, the shipment arrived in just 10 days, and we were charged $100 per day in storage fees from the arrival date (totaling $1,000), which we had no way of avoiding. The most disappointing part of the move was the damage to our refrigerator door and the disappearance of 11 out of 85 clearly labeled boxes. While the missing boxes fortunately didn't contain essential items, the refrigerator damage was significant. We asked Chris about filing an insurance claim, but he told us to contact the delivery company in Seattle, insisting the refrigerator was undamaged when it left Honolulu. Because this delivery company was subcontracted by the mover, we didn't know who they were, and they, in turn, told us the damage occurred before they took possession--advising us to contact WikiExpress instead. Despite repeated attempts to reach out to WikiExpress, our last communication was a text message on March 31, again deflecting responsibility to the third-party carrier. Since then, all contact has ceased. While this company may be capable of handling local moves, it appears to lack the experience and reliability needed for mainland relocations. The pricing was not any more competitive than major national movers, their scheduling was unreliable, and customer service was disappointing. We strongly advise anyone planning a move to the mainland to consider other moving companies. read more

Stay away---just find another company. Nothing "express" about them. This "business" is pathetic and scandalous. Just some headliners--- They came with an open bed lift truck (like it doesn't rain in Hawaii) instead of an enclosed box truck I was promised. They showed up without packing, shrink wrap, or padding. 45 minutes later, they had some material, then one person would wrap an item and another would unwrap behind their back... basically doubling the time to get things completed. They did not work together. They took an hour + for lunch and tried to claim 30 minutes. One time, a worker screamed for help---to which the other 3 joked for several seconds before going to see what he needed. Of course, it turned out all he wanted was for them to press the lift button on the truck to lower him 4 feet to the ground. They took excessive breaks. They left trash at both locations. They damaged the house at the pick up location (gouging the wall). One guy was on the phone almost an hour total throughout the time. It took them 8 hours to do what should have been 4 hours. There were 2 couches (did not need to be wrapped); 5 dressers (empty), two entertainment centers (empty/clear), one tool box (empty), a shoe caddy (empty), two queen beds with frames (only one needed wrapped/protected), one 75 in TV, and one refrigerator (that had the doors removed already). Because they brought the wrong truck, they had to make a second run (and it took them an hour and a half to wrap a TV, one entertainment centers, and the empty shoe caddy). Finally, they started leaving before I had said they were complete---told me to call their boss if I wasn't happy. I spent most the day helping and all the evening unpacking/unwrapping the furniture they ran off from. Worst moving experience ever (and I spent 28 years in the military moving more than 10 times). Then, as others have complained, they charged for materials that were not in the original contract agreement (and remember--- one guy kept unwrapping what the other 2 just wrapped). You'll pay less in money and stress getting a quality moving company. Stay away from this debacle. I used Honolulu Moving Company a few years ago--- I should have just used them again. They knew what to do, how to do it, charged fairly, and understood customer service. I "5-Star" them (Honolulu Moving Company). read more

Here's the saga of my move with this company - and why I can't recommend them. A word of caution: do not book with this company unless you're guaranteed the first or only move of the day. After spending close to $1,000, I'm incredibly disappointed - especially after seeing so many great reviews that made me feel confident at first. I initially submitted a general request on Yelp for moving services, and this company stood out for their fast follow-up. Once I finally had my move date confirmed (admittedly very last minute), I contacted them. I was told they had availability for Saturday at 2 PM. I booked, signed the confirmation, and gave my credit card to hold the reservation. Here's where things fell apart: At 1:15 PM on move day, I got a call from the owner, Chris. He was kind enough on the phone and let me know they'd be late. Okay - I get it, delays happen. Then he asked if I could reschedule for the next day because they wouldn't be able to get to me until evening. I explained that I really needed to move that day because I'd arranged childcare for my toddler, booked my building's freight elevator, and had a sitter lined up for my dog. After checking with his crew, Chris told me they could get to me around 5 PM. That seemed manageable, so I waited. Here is my text thread - * 4:38 PM: "Guys are wrapping up and will be there soon after." * 5:51 PM: "They need to make a second trip and will be there after. Sorry - customer had more to move." * 8:02 PM: "Sorry they're still unloading 1st load. Almost done and then they'll finish up and head over." At this point, I could tell I was getting the runaround. What I would have appreciated? Just honesty. Tell me you can't accommodate me, or tell your earlier customer you have other commitments and will need to finish later. Eventually, I asked them to come at 8 AM the next day instead, as it was getting too late to move into my new place without disturbing neighbors. Even then, the movers insisted they could still come that night - but I knew better by then and decided to give them another shot the next morning. 8:15 AM the next day - no one. I called Chris (pretty sure I woke him up). Turns out, their crew hadn't finished their previous job until 4 AM. No surprise they weren't going to make it by 8 AM - and frankly, I wouldn't want my belongings handled by people running on 3ish hours of sleep. After more back and forth, the movers finally arrived at 10 AM. The two guys who showed up were fantastic: polite, hard-working, and didn't complain once despite what must have been an exhausting night. That's the reason for the second star. They didn't deserve the chaos that came with this scheduling mess, and I tipped them $60 to show my appreciation. But here's the kicker: The final bill was $928 - after fees I wasn't expecting, like charges for furniture wrap (which wasn't mentioned in advance) and a 3% credit card fee. I was charged for 4 hours of labor, including 3 movers, though I only saw 2 movers for most of the job. A third guy showed up for the second location because of stairs - and even then, only 2 of them were actively moving while the third stayed by the truck. I never requested (or needed) 3 movers. The owner claimed to give me a "discount" by only charging for 2 movers instead of 3, but that felt disingenuous since I hadn't agreed to 3 in the first place. If you're considering this company, make sure you're the first move of the day - or be prepared for a lot of stress, last minute scrambling, and unexpected fees. From the booking process to the day of the move and even afterward, Chris maintained great communication with our team, which we really appreciated. The crew had to get creative to move some large commercial items from our office, and they handled it well. The only thing we would have liked was a heads-up that the truck would be an open-bed lift truck rather than a boxed truck, especially since the move took place during the rainy season. What I got on delivery day was: a van with 2 guys, masking tape for my dressers, no quilts or blankets on anything, then a long wait cuz they forgot to bring a dolly and had to go back to the shop to get one. Needless to say my drawers got masking tape gunk on it, my furniture got scratched from being Tetris shoved into a van, my bed got dirt scuffs from sliding on the dirty floor and being dragged. 2 star instead of 1 star becasue the owner gave a discount. Owner blamed employees for not doing their job, employees blamed owner for not telling them what was needed. It's a twisted tale but with a happy ending, thanks to Wikiwiki Express Delivery. To start at the beginning, I shipped a pool vacuum all the way from Florida to Hilo, HI. Unbeknownst to me, the equipment had a large Lithium battery on board. Imagine my surprise when USPS in Honolulu slapped a Hazmat label on it, then refused to deliver the package. Apparently, the laws changed earlier this year; these batteries are on a list of restricted items -- they cannot be flown! I don't know why USPS didn't inform me of it before the equipment made it half way 'round the world, but they hadn't caught it. What to do?! The postmaster in Honolulu suggested UPS but I ran into the same problem, that dratted Hazmat label. In desperation I started calling around Honolulu in search of a private carrier that would take on the job. The first two operations I called didn't even pick up the phone but invited me to leave a message. At this point, I was feeling friendless in Honolulu. Finally, I called Wikiwiki Express Delivery. Based on their online ratings, I probably should have just called them first -- it would have saved me a lot of time and trouble. Anyway, an actual voice came over the line after a couple of rings, it was Chris at Wikiwiki. He patiently listened to my story and finally answered, "Yes, we can help you". I can't tell you what a relief it was to hear that! After getting a few more details including teaching me how to pronounce Hilo ("It's Heee-low, not Hiiii-lo" and "Wikiwiki means fast, as in 'fast delivery'") he got me a quote -- which was quite reasonable under the circumstances -- and then personally took it on himself to pick up the package at UPS and get it approved for delivery and on the boat. I was kept informed at each step of the process via text or a phone call. Anyway, to make a long story longer, Wikiwiki saved the day and got my package on its way. Not only did they do the job, they got it done quickly and in a friendly professional manner. The boys at USPS and UPS could take a lesson or two in personal service from Wikiwiki. It's something that unfortunately's been lost along the way. They made me feel as though I finally have a friend in Hawaii. I'm exhausted from moving but I scheduled a move a week in advance and got a confirmation that day as well as an email reminder confirmation two days before the move. Moving day comes and they are supposed to arrive 9-10am. At 10:30 I'm still waiting and have not heard from anyone. I call them but nobody answers. Ten mins later I get a call from a number I don't know. It was the moving guy saying they overslept and had a long night and will be here in about an hour, but they also need to put gas. They arrive at noon and I have to show them how loading docks work, where they are, show them exactly where to park (every other delivery or truck driver knows how to do this) The two guys come in and it was like watching Harry and Lloyd from dumb and dumber. Hilarious, but also really fn annoying that these guys are moving super slow, making jokes, playing rap music loudly on their phone (through the hallways and elevators of my high rise condo). They also smelled really bad, like they hadn't showered in a week. We had to open the windows after they left to air the apt out. It took forever and bc they were so late we hit traffic going to the new apt. I tipped $60 but not sure why. Got my bill the next day and I was charged DOUBLE what I was quoted. When I called to fix that, I expected some sort of apology or compassion for being 2.5 hours late and providing really unprofessional workers. I called them in the afternoon and they were able to pick up my furniture the very next day! They were extremely organized, professional, and pleasant. I received several quotes but for the value and limited time, Chris was the best. When my family needed a rush job done with less than a day's notice, I turned to Yelp to obtain quotes & availability from prospective courier services. It was a relatively small job that involved picking up boxes from a residential property and taking them to an accounting office in town before they closed. At the time, we estimated the job involved 15 boxes. Christopher S., owner of Wiki Wiki Express responded immediately and with availability to do the job. Other vendors either didn't respond, declined the job, or indicated they were booked. A quote was provided, accepted, and a pickup time the next day was scheduled. I wasn't present at the job site but understand that Wiki Wiki arrived on time and even waited graciously for the boxes to be gathered by my family. Wiki Wiki only accepted credit card payment by phone after they confirm the job was completed. They declined a check. Due to a mixup among family as to who was going to call in the credit card payment I ended up having to call in the payment myself. I'm sorry Chris for calling you so late! I appreciate Chris and Wiki Wiki Express for their professionalism, responsiveness and patience especially since the job was smaller than originally anticipated. I shipped a huge piece of heirloom furniture interisland and needed a mover to pick up from a container at Young Bros as it was too large for me to handle on my own. I sent out quotes via Yelp and WikiWiki Express was the most responsive and reasonably priced for the job. Other companies were quoting me $500-900. WikiWiki delivered at a much greater value. I needed to have the furniture picked up at the very limited hours at the port and WikiWiki was able to accommodate this at short notice and were knowledgeable of the pickup rules and procedures for Young Bros. I got follow-up messages and calls confirming my pickup prior to and the morning of my scheduled pickup. The truck was on-time meeting me at the port and the 2 movers were very friendly and efficient. We are so grateful for Kayla, Chris, and the movers. They helped us move from our 3 bedroom house to our Apartment and storage. I literally called them the night before to ask if they could help us with the move because we just got the keys from our Landlord. Kayla was so patient, understanding, and worked her magic. The workers were really nice and legit worked their behinds off. I didn't know we had so much stuff. They disassembled and reassembled our larger furniture. We lived on the second floor and don't have an elevator here, so they had to carry everything upstairs. They handled our things with care and made sure we were satisfied with everything.
