This is a beautiful park with something for everyone. There is a zip line a swing., a rope climbing soon and athletic exercise bars for older kids as well. There is also a toy twin and a treehouse like structure and a small trail behind all in the middle of an urban oasis! My son really enjoys coming here and we have spent many lovely days here. My suggestion to parents is to come before 10 AM if your child prefers a little alone time and has sensory needs, since after that time park tends to get crowded. All the best! read more

We really enjoyed coming here! It has so beautiful trails and a very cute bridge! In December there's an elf so better watch out for this little guy ‍ You can connect your walk to the Botanical Garden which gets interesting during the holidays with it's lights in the evening. Doesn't matter how cold or rainy, you get cocoa and keep walking. During the day you can go to the playground and use the zipping. Of course is for kids. Is not that tall. You can keep an eyepn them and enjoy the beauty of the Park too!! read more

Kids had choke fun. Perfect for a toddler and a 6 year old. They even got baby swings too. It can get muddy under the swings during wet seasons. The park was very clean and not crowded. If you pass the botanical garden on the right hand side, keep driving down and you will see a big parking lot where the park is at. They do have picnic benches. I do wish it was made out of metal instead of wood. It would be easier to wipe down and nice to sit on a dry surface. But we will definitely be back to visit when we are in town. read more

Wilburton is a gem near downtown Bellevue. They have several hiking/walking trails through the woods that connect to the Lake to Lake train, Kelsey Creek Park, the botanical gardens and the Lake Hills Connector. The play area is new and big, there are bathrooms and there is ample parking. What a lovely park! I had passed by this little off-the-main-road park forever, when suddenly last week, my kids in tow, urged me to check out this little offshoot road, which turned out to be the park's parking lot. And what a super park! There is the cutest playground ever with a long zip-line, which totally delighted my kids (keep in mind, my kids are teenagers! And it was SO good for me to hear them laughing like the kids they are! For a change!). There are swings and a playground structure, ideal for the younger set (3-10 yrs old, I'd say). I saw a soccer field and a baseball field, and I think there are bathrooms housed in the building by the parking lot (though I'm not sure on that. It'd make sense to have bathrooms in that structure, though). Oh, and there are walking trails and pathways, under a canopy of trees. My kids and I agreed we must return to explore these trails, which are so beautiful! And when we return, we also plan to walk to the Botanical Garden to west. What a great area! read more

Excellent playground. Zipliner is so cool. The apparatus is very high...with various entrances...it seems like a tree house. Cool carousel thingy with net....cute choo choo train area with tubes...many slides..a fun wiggle "swing" which looks like a toboggan. Like how it's partially shaded. read more

Wilburton is a nice park. The grounds are well kept, the playground is very nice and also features a zip line! The trails connect with the Botanical Gardens as well as the Sammamish trails. Parking and access are both very easy and free. read more

Such a beautiful, clean, and safe park (especially in the Spring/Summer! Took my toddler to this playground and he loved it! There is workout equipment right next to the playground which I didn't get to use due to a high energy ball child, but I do plan on using it when he is older and can play on his own! I like this better than the downtown park. The downtown park is nice but so vast that it can be a challenge keeping track of your kid. I came here on a weekday before school has startred and it wasn't all that crowded. The train structure is the best out of two other parks I've been to. It's long with multiple train cars and a bell that kids can ring! The climbing structure has 3 levels. One slide on the 2nd level and another on the 3rd. There are lots of swings, a disc swing (or whatever it's called), and a zipline. A big grass field sits above the playground, perfect for a picnic! Exercise equipment for the adults...and kids (how can they resist?!). I wish the restrooms we're closer and that there were more benches for seating. Nice that the parking lot is right in front of the playground because I was able to keep an eye on my toddler while I went to my car to grab our picnic food. read more

Talk about a hidden gem!! With all of the times I've been to the Botanical Gardens, I haven't ever ventured out to see what was immediately surrounding (figuring it was just more office buildings really)... but, now that there's all that construction at the Botanical Gardens, we were forced to drive down and park near this park... and it's AMAZING! Very well kept, lots of fun play structures and a ZIP LINE! I think I saw my husband's eyes light up when he noticed it... if it weren't for the line of children waiting for their turn to go across, I'm sure he would have had to give it a shot himself!! And, worth of mentioning, it's not just a little metal one you see at so many other parks... this zip line is really quite long!! Looks like tons of fun! I'm not sure if the soccer field and baseball area are technically a part of this park or not, but they are also very well maintained and there is decent seating around too. Tons of shade from large, tall trees too which is nice. And, there are bathrooms over by the baseball diamond too. I was surprised by how popular the park was over the 4th of July holiday weekend (not overflowing with children or anything, but still lots of happy children playing on the different structures), but if I knew about this park it'd be one I'd frequent too! Oh, and the parking is great -- TONS of it right beside the park! read more

This is my favorite field to run and have my extra soccer specialty training. There are sometimes teams here but I do like the location and the wooden walls for good passing to. The soccer field connects to the Sammamish trail system. There are also baseball fields here. Nice park to enjoy. read more

I like to take my dog here because there's a trail from the park that goes to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. It's especially fun walking along the easy trail once the weather is nice because you can see all the flowers in bloom at the Garden. There is a small playground area with bark on the ground for small children, as well as a soccer field that is well-maintained and baseball fields. There's also a parking lot, public restrooms and water fountains, which makes coming here all the more convenient. It's a nice community park, located in the Wilburton neighborhood. read more

This is a great park for kids big and small! Hiking trails, open spaces for running, play ground - lots of shade, zipline, bathroom, and more. We discovered this park by accident. Our 3 yr old and 1 year old fell in love with this park right away ... because mom could sit on the disk swing with both kiddos and ride on the zip line! There's a climbing rope which spins, play equipment for kids to explore, climb, swing and jump. The area is open so you can keep an eye on multiple kids going in different directions. Work out equipment for parents to use while kids play. Easy trails for small kids to walk with many interesting things to explore, small springs, plants, bushes, trees, etc. Great lunch space with picnic tables. Private parking lot with a lot of spaces away from all the play ground, so kids are not tempted to run into the area. The area is also tucked away from busy streets and set back at the end of the parking lot so there's not a lot of noise - other than excited kids playing. The most popular play equipment is the zip line which our 18 mo old daughter enjoys. It's low to the ground and it doesn't really go very fast - but gives the kiddos enough of a thrill that they scramble to jump back in line to do it over and over again. It runs about 50 yards from end to end ... and the bounce / stopper can give small kids a jolt if they are not use to it, so best to spot them if it's their first ride, but once or twice on it, they get use to it and expect it and hold on really tight in preparation for it. we can't keep our 18 mo old off it! The other popular play ground attraction is the disk swing, where you can fit multiple kids on and push easily. They love this thing! Our kiddos love that mommy and daddy can get involved and be on the same play equipment as them - comfortably! it's easy to swing - and when our daughter was very young - it was great getting her to fall asleep by just laying in it with her on our tummy. The kids also love the tall rope climbing net that goes about 20 feet in the air and spins. children with active imaginations love to see this as a pirate ship or space ship - and many of the older kiddos love to climb to the top or hang out in the netting half way up to the top while parents spin the base. Basically a great twist on a modern marry-go-round with some fun creative edge! All in all - great place to burn some quick energy on some busy kiddos. read more

We visit Wilburton often for the soccer field, which I do believe is reservable? Beautiful, clean and well maintained park complete with a Turf Soccer Field, well rounded Playground that appears for all ages, Baseball Fields, Picnic Tables, ample grassy areas and Trails! The trail is part of the Lake to Lake Trail that travels from Lake Sammamish to Lake WA. I highly suggest you walk over to the Botanical Gardens (via trail behind the soccer field) during your visit. This is a pretty big park right next to the Bellevue Botanical Gardens. The park has a few soccer fields, some nice walking paths that wind through large pines and around grassy knolls, plenty of parking, and a playground. The playground is quite small given the size of the park, but it does have an awesome zip line. 2 adult swings, 2 baby swings, some monkey bars, a slide or two, etc. I'm not sure where the bathrooms are - we ended up using the ones in the botanical garden at the visitor's center. read more

Today was the first sunny weekend that I can remember and a lot of people packed the parks. I had my toddler son with me driving through Blv and decided to stop at Wilburton based off memories of large play areas for children. I don't know if something happened with the sprinklers overnight and they didn't turn off or maybe they had a pipe burst but the playground was in BAD shape. The first step that I took into the playground area near the swing sets, I almost lost a shoe and found myself stuck in ankle-deep mud. This was the case for at least 75% of the entire play area. It really puts a damper on things when your first step drenches your socks. The playground was packed today and all the parents watching were shaking their heads, noticing the same thing I did. Every kid had soaked feet that was there today. Get this figured out. Somebody dropped the ball on the first nice day this year! read more
