We had spoken twice prior on the phone to either an employee or manager to make sure that it would fit in the trunk of the car and that we could manage the weight of it. We were assured that it was not heavy and very easy to use. When we arrived at our hotel on the 16th, it had been delivered but no one was there to show us how to disassemble it or use it. A video was supposed to be provided and it was not. A young strong hotel valet tried to help us figure out how to take it apart, after partially taking it apart, he couldn't figure out the rest and it was way too heavy for him or my husband to lift. We are both 77 years old. Realizing that we couldn't use it, we drove to the shop the next day and explained it to their repairman who was the only one working that day. We explained that we wanted at least a partial refund of our $289.90 payment since we hadn't and couldn't use it. Later the manager called us and refused to give us any refund at all. She said, "You signed the contract" and wouldn't give us any refund at all. She had misrepresented what the scooter weighed and left us to our own devices to figure out how to disassemble or use it. This is no way to treat elderly people who in good faith trusted this company. Beware of this company if you yourselves are elderly and in need of a scooter for a disabled parent while on vacation or anytime That customer service is shameful. I had the code and barcocde that was texted to me 10 mins prior. The lady that helped me told me the free wash was ended the day before kindly showed me my way out of the wash, as they would not honor it. To this second, the site is still offering the free wash. 100% false advertising and very bad business. Immediately turned me away from wanting to do any future business. I will happily take the slightly further drive and continue my business with Sud Stop. Never had a problem there.

My truck had a rough idle and often stalled completely. There was also a slight smell of gas under the hood. After hours trying to fix it myself I reluctantly took it to Barker's. I was expecting a big bill, and would have never known better. They fixed it for $15. After 3 more visits over the next few years I have come to trust Barkers to do great work for an honest fee. Plus you can walk around downtown Conway or visit the library while you wait.
