Wow! I don't know if there's enough good things to say about this place! ALL of the employees were super kind and knowledgeable. We decided to drive thru in the bus, which is the way to go! It's up higher so less intimidating for the little ones, and myself, around the animals. On top of the drive thru safari they have a walk through feeding/petting area with more animals. We had a great time. Much larger than the one we did in Texas. It was a 5 mile drive through with beautiful scenic views. The animals were engaging. All we had time for was the drive thru so I cannot comment on the rest. We would visit again if ever in the area. read more

Tip: bring a towel for slobbers if you plan to feed the animals. I've never been so close to so many wild animals before! We visited during the polar vortex and it was still opened! We were one of the first cars in the morning and the animals were excited to see us and be fed. Alpacas, cows, donkeys, camels were all gentle during feedings. Deer was a bit more hesitant so we tossed some food on the side for them. Long horns looked too intense so we did not attempt to feed them lol. The walking zoo was a treat as well. The feedings can be used to feed animals with hooves (i.e. hogs, goats). There's a playground for little ones in the middle area and a 'quiet walk' at the end and wrap around the lake area, which we did not as it was freezing cold. Drive thru portion was great, just watch out for the camels, they will steal the bag of food. Grandkids loved that and we would have driven thru twice but we were on a school trip. Their petting zoo doesn't have many animals and I was not at all impressed plus there are no drinks available. Be sure to bring your own food and refreshments! read more

We took our friends 3 year old and Justin (Who was great) drove us on the bus. We had a great time, saw tons of animals, and got to feed them! We enjoyed it just as much as the 3 year old did! My favorite part was that most of the animals seemed to be very happy and have plenty of freedom and space to roam. I do feel that the lions and tiger in the walk about portion could have used some extra room in their enclosure. At the end of the day, it is a zoo. read more

This was AWFUL. I use to go here with my kids often, and there were tons of animals along the drive through, now there is probably LESS than 1/4 then there used to be. The animals looked sick, the few that were there. The area where the petting zoo was, was also awful, barley ANY animals, lots of empty cages and exhibits in disrepair. Even the price online was false. It was 91$ for 2 adults and one teen. And all you see is normal to this area animals like deer and turtles, and there was many of those either. They had a total of about 4-5 exotic animals and they looked sickly. This was the biggest rip off, its NOTHING like it used to be. They didn't even have any concessions. It's was disappointing, even the kid was disappointed. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY just go to the zoo its cheaper, way more animals and food, and we DEEPLY REGRET that we went here instead. We took the bus tour. It was spectacular. My five year old grandson got to feed the camels, llamas, zebras, etc. We also did the walk through where we got to see a few monkeys, goats, lions and giraffes. The staff was nice and accommodating. We can't wait to go back. read more

Highly enjoyed this interactive adventure. We're grandparents who took our 11 year old grandchild. We watched all ages have a riotous time. On the walk around: we met giraffes face to face, fed and pet goats, pigs, small and farm animals, observed big cats, various monkeys, otters, lemurs, hyenas, and other wild animals, also a great reptile house with a sloth. We paid just a little extra for a personal Capybara meet and greet. Our granddaughter squealed with joy as it got on her lap to eat. The knowledgeable guide told us so much about Capybaras. We did the driving tour in our own car, as opposed to a bus they offer free. The animals stuck their heads in our car to get pellets. They're friendly and adorable, slobbery and witty. I swear they could understand us. One camel stole a bags of feed out of my lap and watched me laugh like crazy. We saw wildebeest, donkeys, zebras, deer, various buffalo types, camels, long horns, alpacas, prong horn, Bhrama bulls, llamas, and lots of hoofed animals from around the world. Not only did we laugh, we had quality bonding time with our granddaughter. They're friendly animals that touched our hearts. The staff were so kind and helpful. I'm in a wheelchair. The Capybara exhibit is temporary, but the new one will be 100% accessible. I accessed the temporary pen, but it took some effort. In all, the park is definitely wheelchair accessible. A great place to stop at least once. Especially if you have animal lovers in your family. The walk around has lots of animals who come up for food. The drive thru has triple the amount of animals that come to your car windows and try to hitch a ride with you. Awesome experience! Highly Highly recommend this day of fun!!! We did all of the encounters (sloth, giraffe, lemur and barnyard) with the exception of the capybara which I really wish we would have done. Every single representative that took care of us at each of the encounters were informative, kind, patient and so willing to chat and make sure we got great pictures. The drive thru portion was good, but it was a shame that there were not very many animals with the exception of the sweet always hungry zebras, llamas and miniature donkeys!!! We did enjoy all of them very much. They would just open their mouths so you could throw the treats in!!! It was also exciting to see a baby bison. Wish there could have been more of the animals listed to view but it was still a wonderful day!!! read more

This place is amazing!!! We been to several drive through encounters and other states like Oregon. By far this is the best one. We even showed up on our rainy day. Lot of the wild animals behind the cage we were able to get up really close like 3 ft away. The gift shop has few cute monkeys. And there's also a small indoor reptile place to look at. It was the longest drive through. Lot of the animals we engage with we're very human and imprinted. I saw emus, ostrich, zebras, bison, several types of deers donkeys pigs, camels and llamas. The zebras were my favorite when I was feeding them from my hand. But when I seen them nibble on my car mirror it was time for me to go lol!! This establishment spins millions on feeding these animals and taking care of them. I recommend buying two or three bags to help feed animals. This looks like it's going to be my monthly Hangout to visit. Now one of my favorite places and best places to visit in Missouri. read more

The drive-thru safari was good. However, some of the "walk thru" animals had horrible conditions. I have 3 examples. 1 - the bear was incredibly bored. He paced around a pole in his SMALL enclosure for the ENTIRE two hours we were there. No enrichment toys. Heartbreaking. 2 - the sloths had NO natural sunlight or natural materials in their cage in the reptile area. They were climbing up and down their "tree". Typically sloths come down from their tree once a week...unless stressed. I have never seen such active sloths, which led us to believe they were stressed. We asked TWO staff members about it and both said, "they seem happy." 3. the lion and tiger areas - my dogs have a bigger place to roam. read more

This was the best birthday I have had in along time. Was so much fun getting to feed and interact with all the animals. Some of the animals can get a little ornery but funny at the same time. The "safari": Well worth the hour drive if you're staying in Branson. We went first thing in the morning to avoid the heat. Even on a 100* day (90s when we were there) the bus with the windows removed had plenty of airflow and we did not find ourselves to be too hot. We purchased two bags of food, one for each kid, and had plenty. We did save some for the giraffe in the walk through area. (More on that later.) We chose to ride the bus vs take our vehicle so I could enjoy the ride as well instead of having to focus on driving. The bus driver was friendly and knowledgeable. He seemed to really enjoy his job! The animals were fun to see, and the kids had a blast feeding them. I want to say the bus ride took approx 1.5 hrs. The walk through part: As others have said, the walk through area was kinda sad. The lion had a tiny little enclosure. There were other animals too, and they also had small enclosures, but really the lion was the saddest part. No room to roam. The giraffes were near and one of them did come over to the fence once he realized there was food to be had. A few people were able to feed and pet him, so that was neat. The giraffes seemed to have a decent amount of grassy area to stretch their legs. Dining facility: Exactly what you'd expect. $10 for a 7" pizza and other prices that were in line with that. We didn't eat anything there but I'm sure if you're starving and didn't bring snacks it would suffice. They did have dippin dots ice cream available for typical zoo pricing. They offer a military/first responder/AAA discount of ~10% I believe. read more

As a resident of Missouri I had heard of this animal park but never visited. Yesterday our family had to get out of the house for a while as we were tired of being in the house due to Covid restrictions so we made the 2 hour drive to check out the park. There is a little walk through park to check out some animals. We purchased some food for the animals in the gift shop. One thing we didn't do is bring any quarters. They have machines set up that takes quarters for food. So make sure you remember quarters. We decided to drive the park instead of take the bus. It was a very peaceful drive and lots of animals came up to our cars to eat. Our family laughed so much during our visit which is something that we desperately needed. So thank you wild animal safari for the fun outing. We definitely want to come back sometime in the future. Also make sure you purchase your tickets online at least a day before your visit. They are cheaper that way. Visiting price of the park for a family of four with all adults is the only thing that threw me off a little bit, but I imagine it is expensive to feed all the animals we seen. read more

Went to the drive through on a recommendation. It was more fun than expected. We spent 3 hours that I will remember forever. The Buffalo with a 12 inch tounge. The greedy camel stealing an entire bag of food. The gentle beautiful giraffes. A lot of fun. read more

I just wanted to start off by saying that I would give this place 10 stars if it was JUST the drive through. The drive through experience was amazing. We got to interact with every single animal. It was amazing to see them roam and live their best lives. The reason why I'm giving it 3 is because of the other animals at the walk through. They have two big ass lions in a cage smaller than most master bedrooms. The enclosure these lions are in is smaller than my bathroom. It was so depressing. The train passing by made the lions bat shit crazy every time. None of the animals that were in the walk through area had enclosures that are appropriate for their needs. It needs maintenance and expansion. Two giraffes are in a dark room. It literally looks like a cargo box. I don't know, the whole thing was just sad. read more

If you like animals, this is the place to go. You interact & have the option of feeding some hoofed animals in the walking area. Don't forget petting. Kids will love it. There's also a guided tour or a self driven tour that takes you all around the 250 acres. If you pause when you see the animals, they will come right up to the window! I recommend even for adults, but especially for kids. Also get a cup of feed for the walking tour & a bucket for the drive. read more

This place was amazing. We were able to ride our own car or ride the bus all while feeding the animals. Our tickets came in led with the walkthrough and we were able to see the other animals and also touch some giraffes. The only down side was they didn't have a map or description of where the animals are located. Half the animals were walking up to us to feed them. The other half they were either sleeping or out doing whatever they do. We are planning our next trip here too. And we'll bring some friends next time. read more

I was apprehensive when we first drove up, because it didn't look like much at first. I was so wrong. We had the best time getting slobbered on here, I can't remember laughing that hard so many times in a long time. The drive through park was awesome. We were worried that the driver wouldn't enjoy the experience because he'd be too busy focusing on driving, but it wasn't a problem. Plus they said we could do both if we wanted, as the ticket was good for the day. We also did the Sloth Encounter, which I highly recommend. So much fun! My one year old enjoyed it very much. The staff was also very friendly. Definitely buy a bunch of food for the drive-thru, but don't buy any for the walk through in the front (they have quarter machines with different food that those animals favor.) I also felt a bit sad for the animals up front. This drive through zoo definitely worth a stop! The staff was very friendly, the gift shop prices more than reasonable. The drive through was long and we saw a lot of different animals. Feeding the bison by hand was the hi light of our entire trip for me. My daughter had so much fun feeding the giraffe in the walk through part, make sure you do that also! Loved this place! We went there thinking we would drive our own car through but I'm so glad we didn't. We rode the open air bus and it was so worth it. Feeding the animals was so much fun and the property is amazing. We enjoyed the walk-through area too since we had some food left to give. The goats finished it off no problem. Back to five stars! You can now feed the animals from your vehicle again! That was all the fun for me. And I was so sad when that left. Now this place is back to being fantastic fun. They managed to stay open during the Corona virus fear campaign. What a relief to have something to do. And to find out it's back how it used to be was a very welcomed bonus. The gift shop was priced well. The restaurant was closed this time due to the CDCs virus recommendations. I'd imagine it still has great prices when it reopens based on the prices in the gift shop.
