STEER CLEAR!!! What a trash place. We paid for our time and then waited for bills to pay (a long time) and food to be delivered and told they didn't have the product. Or the other product. Or the other. Not a big deal. Waiting that time however was a strike (no pun intended) against our allotted bowling time. I've never been cut off in the middle of a game when I'm in the eighth frame like that. Sucks. I'm happy to pay for food and drinks and bowling but come on. Let's scarf our wholly mediocre ass pizza and play arcade games and have the kids enjoy themselves. Most arcade games were closed. Tried to play air hockey and the puck got eaten twice. I'm no big shot but I don't have a lot of time or money to waste. Somehow I'm stuck with these player cards that I won't use again. I have these memories of not being able to finish a single damn game of bowling. Worst of all, because I'm too stubborn for a total loss, I'm stuck with these boxes of barely edible pizzas that cost us our round of bowling. I'm hoping to get piss drunk tonight in order to forget this experience and be hung over enough to enjoy this dumpster pizza. Update: Just tried to email the place. My wife and I have been to Wild Bills for supper or lunch I would say more than 10 times since they have opened. The new facility looks great! I must admit I have never been served a bad burger. I will say however that the wings went from great at opening and have gone up and down ever since and the appetizers are very pricey for poor quality appetizers. A few nights ago we asked for chili garlic wings on the menu. We were told by the waiting staff that they were frustrated with the back end staff because they kept removing flavors that no one was ordering and not telling the waiting staff. They would typically have to take the order back and THEN be informed by the cook staff that the flavor had been taken off the menu. The chili garlic flavor was apparently one of the casualties. We also heard an excuse that someone didn't put the flavors in the "new pos" and that new menus should be there any day now. The special for the night was an all-you-can-eat boneless wing buffet for $12.99. I was excited to see what they had to offer but immediately let down when I found out that it was basically a glorified chicken nugget buffet with different sauces. It didn't look appetizing at all. When we received our wings the mild buffalo wings had sauce on them but the garlic parmesan wings had no sauce and looked like they had been under a warming lamp for at least 30 minutes. They were not cooked well at all and I was really disappointed. We ended up having to ask for garlic parmesan sauce because we couldn't taste the garlic or parmesan at all on our wings. When my father-in-law arrived late he also ordered the mild buffalo wings but these were bone-in. Once again the presentation was quite terrible and there was almost no sauce slathered over them. He also had to get extra sauce from the waiting staff to make things right. The waiting staff for our table disappeared for a good 20 minutes and we couldn't get any other waiter/waitress' attention until our waiting staff returned. By the time they got the extra sauce my father-in-law had 2 wings left of the 8 he originally ordered and by that time they were cold. To top things off the waitress did not include any of our drinks on our ticket. Previous experiences that sway my opinion include being completely forgotten about after we were seated for 20-30 minutes with no wait staff in sight until we finally got up to find someone to ask us what we wanted to drink as well as disagreeing with waiting and management staff about what a "dry rub" actually is only to realize after 3 different staff looked at our wings that what we were delivered was wrong and wasn't a dry rub. I'm not sure what it takes to deliver a consistent food service in North Platte but ever since the very beginning Wild Bills seems to have not gotten the formula right. I want to be proven wrong because I would love to have a really good wing joint with a lot of tv's and a bar in North Platte but I have never been able to consistently recommend Wild Bills. Hopefully one of these days they will get the recipe for consistent service and food figured out. read more

Desk staff was quite unhelpful. Had no "open lanes" for nearly an hour after we arrived despite at least 10 lanes not being in use. Poor customer service from the manager when I inquired. Took more than 10 minutes to get two sodas after ordering because server wandered around trying to find a lid. read more

I've been here half a dozen times since opening day. The wings were marginal on opening day, BUT every time I've been back the wings were better than the previous. They have hit their stride now, and they are puting out some great food. For wings I would suggest the salt and vinegar. It doesn't sound that exciting, but they are the best. If you eat them right when they come out they have the perfect crunch to them. The next best flavor is the jalapeño BBQ. I don't think they make this sauce in house :( but it is pretty tasty. The blazin buffalo are really good.. I'm not too sensitive to heat, but these are definitely hot. We've had other items off the menu and those have been good too. They have a really great selection of beer, and they make the best Bloody Mary's that I've had in a long time. Sometimes the service is great and other times it was a little dicey. I hope the owners get that taken care of. The food and wings are a little pricey for what you get, but the taste makes up for it. This place is quickly becoming one if my favorites to eat. read more

This was my first time. My girlfriend brought me there to meet her friends... the waitress was disconnected, the the food was nothing to write home about and looked like it had sat in the window for 10-15 mins. My girl and her friends were pretty upset about everything. They even billed us wrong. I don't know if this was an off night or not... but this was the first bad dining experience I've had in North Platte since I've been here... THANK GOD FOR PERKINS FOR DESSERT!!!! read more

Wild Bill's is a family friendly sports bar/bowling alley/arcade that is a hot spot in North Platte. The food is hit or miss. If you order your burger "well done" it will come out black (I now order "medium" and they get meat cooked right). The service is pretty good. I've only had one awful waitress that I'm pretty sure dropped out of high school and got pregnant the same day. The best part of Wild Bill's is that they have every Kinkaider brew on tap. Horrible service waitress was name Kat and she started off rude. We paid for some music on the touch tunes and they instantly shut if off twice. Water with no ice. Wings are soggy. Seemed like everyone working there was 16. Never going back. read more

Each time U have been to Wild Bills the service has been horrible. And I mean Exceptionally Slow. No waitress for 15 minutes. I went to get someone and after the order was taken it was another 15 minutes before drinks were served. When the food finally arrived it neede adjustments. They still only serve chardonnay as THE wine choice. So not good. Anyway, won't. Be going back. My goodness dont ever go if you have a lunch hour. You'll. Never make it. Food was all right. Second time I've been there, probably my last. The waiter couldn't tell which was the "large" chicken fried steak and which was the "small" because they were the same size even though there was a couple dollar price difference. Food temp was luke warm or less. We even sent some back to be microwaved. The burgers in our group were ok, just a little overpriced. Was stuck in down due to weather and wanted to watch the race on TV and have a beer, was told this place had lots of TVs. The space is new and inviting, was really impressed with the setup. The service was another story.... As soon as I sat down, the front of the house manager started walking around noticeably complaining to staff. The back of the house manager (I'm assuming) kept coming up and telling everyone to look busy. My bartender was friendly and provided good service outside of management constantly stopping and checking in. One of the servers was having a hard time keeping up and the rest of the staff stood behind the bar and patronized him every time he came back to get drinks. I've been to Wild Bill's too many times to count at this point. The food is always good, the service can be a bit slow on weekends, but it is only because they are so slammed. The managers are friendly and stop by to check in on tables, which is always appreciated. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because the last time I wanted to go to WB's to see the UFC fights, I was told they were not showing them anymore. Since it's the only place in town that does show them, I suggest the owner keep up on the demand. It's always packed in there for the fights and we can easily sit there for six hours watching prelims ordering food and drinks all night. read more

Absolutely deplorable customer service!! I have never been so embarrassed and disgusted by customer service in my entire life. We were excited to have dinner and bowl with friends... until the terrible attitude, unwarranted, and disrespectful comments of the bartender caused a huge scene. We quickly and quietly left the bar after she refused to serve us, because I called out her deplorable behavior to my friend (not even TO her). We did not approach the bar again and just tried to enjoy our bowling experience and the new renovations. Thirty minutes later a bouncer and their staff came over. I thought perhaps they were coming over to apologize. They handed us coupons to come back "later" and told us we have to leave because I'm a "drunk" aggressor trying to hurt her?!?!?! I had water for dinner. Zero drinks. They wouldn't listen to what happened and caused a huge scene. I'm beyond furious, embarrassed, and appalled!! It's so sad that this is one of the very few places familes and kids can go to have family time, and it's THAT horrible. read more
