When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a friendly, middle aged gentleman. When I told him what I was looking for, he said that they sadly didn't carry smoke buddies anymore. I didn't have time to look around long, but the shop looked clean and had a hippie vibe that I love. The shelves looked a bit empty to me, but I did see some cool posters, a couple of awesome looking heady glass and silicone pipes, some stealth stash jars and of course, a few lighters and torches. I think this would be an awesome head shop if they'd get a little more stock. That's the only reason it's a 4 star review, it just looks a bit bare, but I think it has 5 star potential. The employees seem nice and the things they do have in stock look nice, so I may stop by again if I'm in the area and shopping for a pipe. It's definitely worth checking out Epic Tokes out if you're in Elkhart.

I was the only customer in there and once they found out I wanted juice made one took the order and rang me out while the other made the juice...more on the juice further down. There was a fair amount of mods and tanks on display and what looked like a healthy backstock too. Pricing was reasonable...definitely cheaper than other local shops, had I not just gotten a bunch of vape gear I would have purchased something along with the juice. The juice selection was pretty good, saw a lot of brands that I've only seen online before. Their house brand offering is pretty comprehensive and customizable, if you want to sample juices they also have a good selection to test. With the juice prices they have I'll definitely be going back to try some new flavors. So the whole reason I came in was for a coupon I had which was for a BOGO on the House juice, I went with Gooey Butter Cake and Lemon Frost (Lemon Dream is the correct name)...I could be wrong about the names but they're something along those lines. It was nice seeing the person making my juice lab geared up from head to toe, you can actually see them making your juice through a little window which was cool. They had the juice made in under 10min and I was back on my vape tour. Overall it's a cool little shop with great staff and a fair selection decently priced. Worth a stop if you're into vaping or thinking about quitting smoking and picking up a starter kit. ***Juice Update*** I tried the Lemon Dream yesterday on a .44ohm single coil build installed in a Dead Rabbit 22mm rda with the wattage set at 55w, the flavors are subtle but pleasant. As with most good lemon dessert flavored juices the lemon in this is kinda the backing player to the cake which has a nice vanilla taste with hints of cinnamon every now and again. I'd compare this to Dinner Lady's Lemon Tart when it comes to the lemon to tart/cake flavor, I'm certainly enjoying as much as the Lemon Tart! I dunno if I'd say Lemon Dream is an all day vape but it certainly goes well with a cup of coffee and that works for me.

It's small but it has a very welcoming "hippie" vibe that I love. They have a great variety of pipes, ranging from small little metal one hitters to huge glass water pipes (remember to use correct terms, we are in Michiana but not quite in Michigan). I no longer use nicotine, but they have a large variety of disposable vapes in all flavors, as well as cigarettes and pipe tobacco. As far as prices go, I am new to the area and haven't been able to get to the other smoke shops yet, but this place is a bit pricey compared to my home state. However, I learned they may be willing to haggle over price because I was shocked to see that a 2 part plastic grinder had a $9 tag, but the lady behind the counter (who I've seen each time and is always very helpful) quickly added "but I can do $5 for it." when she saw I was having to think twice (I'm on a tight budget). I could get a grinder like that for $3 at several booths at the flea market in my old state, but I'm tired of using my fingers and just wanted to get a grinder and go home. I bought the grinder and I'm glad I did. Smoking from my one hitter (also purchased here) is a lot easier now. Raj is also very friendly and will treat you well. Get the black card membership. It gets you discounts on gear and punches toward juice (buy three get one for a buck, currently). I broke even after buying just 6 bottles of juice. After that you're coming out ahead. Make sure your punches show up on your account. My very first punch didn't, but all of them have since. Discounts and punch card punches apply at all their other locations as well. Eff SMOK brand!!! Don't buy that garbage!!! Have SB set you up with an American made asMODus and (even though they're made in China) a Uwell Crown III tank. The Asmodus has a great "power curve" function that will heat your coil up and then keep it there without going too hot and harsh. The first time I took a drag off this set-up I thought, "finally... this is what I imagined vaping to be like". As you can guess, though, I had been using that SMOK brand garbage. Also, when it comes to the Crown III..... they don't effin' leak! When I say they don't leak... I mean THEY. DON'T. LEAK. So, to summarize: good people, good juice, good prices, get the card, SMOK SUCKS!

I called a little after they opened, and I spoke to a really nice guy who checked to be sure they had it, before I drove out to their location. I showed up, I didn't talk to the guy who I spoke to on the phone, he might've been the owner, but there were two other guys and one of them took me right to the glass pieces I needed. He even said hi to the guy coming in the front door as he was helping me. I mostly buy this stuff online b/c smoke shop prices can be brutal, but I got a damn good deal today. While they say it will be ordered, it still hasn't been in stock after months or if ordered very limited stock of the items. Was a long time customer and have noted several rude employees there that don't care about the customers or the reputation of the store. Be wary of the liquidation sale. All sales final. Not worth wasting money as most had liquid leaking out of the units or they tasted burned like vapes do at the end of the life cycle.

I asked her if she was sure it was for pipes, and she assured me it was. I get it home and the husband packs his pipe. Immediately, he starts hacking and spitting exclaiming, "This is cigarette tobacco!" I went back to the shop and they refused to exchange it or return it. Not a huge deal, as it was less than $10, but still a waste of time and money. They should educate their employees a little better (at all) and consider a return policy.
