Super friendly staff in an unassuming brewery! The taproom is a family members old farm house. Small production brewery has small batch seasonals available to try and the staff is more than happy to give you a tasting of anything currently available. The Hefe was appreciated on the summer day that we went. Was impressed with the Gold Sour, which was one that was left over to try. Go check wildbunch out!

This place is definitely out of the way, but well worth the drive and no worries, both Apple Maps & Google maps know exactly where it is. If you're looking for hipster chic, this ain't your place. If you're looking for some excellent beers, good prices ($4 pints) and friendly folks, you should definitely visit Wild Bunch. I'd recommend the full bodied hefe and the porter. There's a half dozen or so beers on tap with a nice range of styles. The owner/brewer is very friendly and there were some nice local folks stopping by for beers while we were there. The place is small and the brewery, a husband-wife team, turns out small batches. We'll definitely come back again.

Come thirsty cause all their beer is tasty. Hospitality is top notch. The brewery is a little off the beaten path but well worth the slight detour. Both times we've been here the place was filled with local folks. A sign of a great local brewery. Yarly offers a daily special and we found out he is not only an accomplished brew master but a pretty darn cook as well. Please put this on your list to visit. read more

Came out from Bastrop to watch Deuce Cutshall play, but we'll be back for the AMAZING burgers and icy cold pints!! Folks are so nice and the beer is top notch! Make the trip; sit in the sunshine; you deserve it! read more

Love this friendly place! Locally brewed craft beers on tap in a peaceful rural setting with both indoor and outdoor seating. Family friendly. You can even bring your dog. Burgers are good too. Some weekends there's live music- Randy C. Moore is a favorite, or you might catch owner/brewer Jarle jamming with friends! Worth the drive & parking is never a problem! read more

I was fairly certain that Google Maps was taking me out to the middle of nowhere to die. Fortunately that was not the case and we arrived at the small farmhouse that is Wild Bunch Brewing. (Phew) As we pulled in the welcoming committee, the 2 brewery dogs, welcomed us and waited for some pets before showing us to the taproom. The taproom itself is basically the livingroom and kitchen of the small house. Inside there are a 4 seats at the bar, and a large round dining room table that seats about 6. Other than that, you would need to sit outside at 1 of the picnic tables. Inside the taproom we were greeted by the owner/brewer. He told us that he liked to start off by giving everyone a sample of each of his beers, and we gladly accepted. On this day he had a Blonde, Pale Ale, IPA, Single Malt And Single Hop (SMASH), and an Imperial Stout. All of the beers were good, but the SMASHand the Imperial Stour were great! If you are out un the Bastrop, Red Rock area head out the backroads and find this place. I promise that your GPS is not taking you out to be murdered, it is taking you to a super small local brewery. read more

Do yourself a favor and get here now. That way you can say you were there and you knew about it before they got all famous. When you get here after driving down a long rough road, you might think this can't be the place. It's probably the place. It's awesome. Great people, great beer. I can't say we've been to all the microbreweries in Texas, but we've been to a bunch, and this was our favorite by a long shot. We are from Wisconsin so I'm not sure when, but I sure hope to get back. Thank you for treating us like old friends! We had a great time. And Happy Anniversary! read more

My daughter and I ventured out to Wild Bunch Brewing Co. on Saturday. My daughter works part time at a Brewery and loves to go scout out breweries and taste test their beers. She had been hearing about this brewery in Red Rock from others for some time. So on Saturday we were not disappoint when we when out there. Impressed to say the least. We enjoyed the people and the beer was spot on. Music was an added bonus. We have determined it is a go back place. We had already eaten so we did not get to try the burgers. Very laid back in a rural setting. Reminded me of the movie - "Field of Dreams." "you build it and they will come." It is out in the middle of just about "no where" but keep in mind everywhere is not no where. It is about 30 minutes from Bastrop down Rt. 20 south of center of Red Rock, and then on Taylorsville Rd. Loved meeting some of the regulars. Will take my husband down there. read more

A very nice small batch brewery. My wife and I enjoyed our afternoon there. The tap room was closed because of Covid. We had the strawberry blonde and the hefe. Both are very good. We enjoyed our conversations with Jarle and Jerry. Definitely coming back! read more

Great little place. Everyone knows everyone. It's a hobby brewery and I admire the effort and extra work required to do something like this. Are adding an outdoor stage and patio, should improve each time as time passes. read more
