I stopped in during the seasonal flavor changeover, so they were running low on a few options. The server told me they were restocking the new flavors the next day. I was hoping to try the vanilla lavender, but I'll have to save that for another visit. Instead, I went with the butter pecan crunch, which the server said is their best-selling flavor. It had a rich, creamy texture, though I thought it could have used a little more flavor. The richness was just on the edge of being a bit too heavy, but it was still a good scoop of ice cream. As I was leaving, a large family was enjoying ice cream together, and it reinforced the feeling that this is a neighborhood spot locals genuinely support. I always enjoy finding local ice cream shops when I travel, and Wild Honey is worth a stop if you're in downtown Longview. read more

So crowded! Oh my! We knew this place was popular when we walked in and there was a line at 9pm! We got a flight with lavender honey, chocolate brownie, dark chocolate salted caramel, banana pudding, churro, and silver grizzlies latte. We came while visiting family and will absolutely return when we're in the area. There were 2 younger guys behind the counter and at first I assumed they would be like a lot of teens that were just "doing the job" but they were extremely friendly and kind to our young boys. This place has more unique flavors and didn't seem put off when the boys tried more than one flavor. They even offered complimentary sprinkles. WOW!!! This is Texas which is Blue Bell country but man oh man. This place is an ice cream lover's dream. There's not many flavors to choose from but the ones they have are delicious. The two stars is for the service, the young hipster dude working behind the counter was more interested in what was on his phone, we stood at the counter a good 3 minutes before I said excuse me....this was our first trip there...he didn't really seem to care if we got anything or not. If ever there was a place that I would describe as an experience as opposed to a visit, it would be wild honey creamery, every experience I've had here has always been a positive one, whenever you walk in you are greeted by friendly faces and a colorful environment; the ice cream from here is amazing, so far I have tried 12 of their flavors and I even experienced a flight (pictured) which was 6 mini scoops of different flavors of ice cream, they have an outdoor seating area in the front as well as a patio in the back that just added to the excitement.
