I have been going to Chris and Amanda for 7 years now and their service is amazing. If you are not happy with what they are doing you can tell them and they will make it right! If you don't tell them and give them an opportunity to fix it, they don't know you are not satisfied. I receive compliments on my nails ALL the time and that is even when I am in desperate need of a fill!! Chris's art work is incomparable to anyone I have seen he is truly an artist. If you come in and want something unique he will make sure he understands what you want and will tell you if he can do it and how much he will charge for his art work before he starts! Prior to making my appointment I asked over the phone if the phone of they could do a full set Short acrylic nails, I also asked for a price quote. I asked ahead of time because though they come highly reccomended it was a half hour drive from.wh were I live. I got there and of course they were busy but the techs were a bit rude moving my seat twice waiting 15 minutes before someone attended to me. Finally, the gentleman attending me insisted it could not be done and if he attempted it that the outcome would not look good insisting it had to be twice the length I requested. I had never had this issue before, that in addition to now stating the job would be $20 more then I was quoted on the phone. I was so disappointed, I had never had this problem before, I had asked ahead of time and they seemed disinterested in earning my business. I was recommended to try Creative Nails in Draper. They did an AMAZING JOB. exactly what I asked for, no problems, no insisting they needed to be longer then I requested, just polite and well done service. The atmosphere was so inviting and everyone there was so nice. they were incredible and took extra care to make sure my achrylic nails were smooth which I really appreciate. for juat the simple pedicure, you get a foot rub and hot towels which I think is above and beyond for only 20-30 dollars. My only complaint is that the polish doesnt completly cover my nail (the creavases are unpainted) but it really doesnt take away from the overall look. would definitly reccomend this place. read more

As a nail tech myself this is the first Vietnamese nail salon I've seen that uses legal CND, EZ Flow and Solar nail brands. They take pride in their artistry as they should per they do amazing work. My old set wasn't torn off they actually did the hot acetone soak off , the new set was specifically requested as a full set Russian edge V cut aurora borealis Mylar broken glass and accent gems. They delivered exactly that and this set alone could easily be $150.00 but with everything including the soak off it was only $80. Amazing job Tammy and staff u have a new client for life that is not trailer trash and gives a 1 star because they paid $30 for a full set oh please so basic lol. I spent over an hour for the person who was doing my nails having to remove the gel because every single one of my nails looked terrible!! Never owned that she did a bad job and wasted my time. I had to leave with my nails 1/2 way done,,,, on top of that they guy in charge of the place asked me how much I wanted to pay? They charged me for a messed up shape and acrylic $35 with now shame whatsoever!! Never did he apologize or asked me how could they make up for this terrible experience. Our experience didnt change much. Needless to say it was awful. Especially when you spend 20 minutes deciding on a color and the nail tech tells you it won't look good. Or you decide on a design, the tech gets frustrated because she cant do the particular design then tries to convince you that you didnt really want what you originally asked for. They say you get what you pay for. In Wild Orchid's case, you pay way too much and get what the technician wants. read more

I went to this salon as a walk-in with my sister in-law; the salon was so busy! It was great to see a small business booming! We had shellac manicures done and we paid $30 for the shellac polish and the manicure including hot wax. Kim did my nails, she was so sweet and did a great job! At first, I was impressed with how my nails turned out at the first glance. My total cost was $55 plus a tip & I usually pay about $40 including a tip. Within two days, I had two broken nails. (I filed one of them down after it broke because it was a sharp edge and I scratched myself on it), and another broken nail after 6 days. I understand that the longer the nail, the easier it is to break, but three broken nails in a week? It was doing anything that should have broken them, I was doing simple things like laundry & driving. Once I inspected them closer, the polish was spotty, one nail had an indent in it that you can only see in certain lighting (not even upset about that because it's not a big deal.), and the lengths of the nails were different on each hand, by a good amount too. They charge for literally everything. An extra $5 for the shape, an extra $5 for an accent nail. My friend & I got them done together & they charged her $67 for a manicure with chrome nails. My aunt paid $90 once for a simple manicure. They charge for a "cuticle treatment", which takes them 2 minutes to do. They also weren't very friendly. They were nice enough when I walked in but once we were sat down, the rest of the employees had a conversation with each other in Vietnamese, and hardly looked at me or my friend. I asked questions about what they were doing to try & engage in a conversation, and I was ignored. It took over an hour for them to do my nails. They kept jerking my hands and painfully buffed my nails to the point my friend asked if I was in pain because of my facial expressions. Also, they used the wrong size fake nail on 2-3 of my fingers and the pain was so bad I considered going in the next day to have them removed. read more
