We met some great people and the best were Zebra Landscapes and Manzanita Landscapes for what's turned out to be an enormous undertaking. But from the beginning Nethan was patient, an excellent listener, responsive, knowledgeable, confident, understanding and competent. He made many visits over many months to earn our confidence and our business. Work began three weeks ago at the very end of October 2023. Work will finish in 2-3 weeks. The owner is disrespectful with your time and intelligence and it clearly trickles down to the management and employees. Their workmanship is atrocious, nothing was done properly. The drip system leaks everywhere and is not even buried an inch down. We had to replace 4 trees. The grading on our driveway wasn't done properly, so it floods every time it rains. The rocks were spread so thin that the lining can be seen and is peeling up. The owner was supposed to come out and speak with us, he set the time and then never showed up and now won respond to us. The piping for the rain gutters are held together by duct tape and not buried under the ground. We spent over 70k for the worst work I've seen. We are extremely frustrated and annoyed.

Unique was recommended to us by a friend that had recently used them. After the first visit from Melissa, we knew we had found the company we wanted to hire. Melissa took our "rough" ideas and in minutes articulated a vision that "clicked" with us. Then before we received a proposal, Melissa called and said her husband Kevin wanted to come look at the project because he wanted to make sure he could do the project right before they committed to it. When he arrived, the first thing he said was that we had to get the drainage correct. First landscaper we had spoken with that mentioned drainage before we did. Fast forward, and they completed the project, exactly as they proposed (with a few adds we asked for), on time and for exactly the price that was quoted. NO SURPRISES, no hidden fees or charges. I addition, the quality and professionalism of Mario and Manny was "out of this world". They were a pleasure to have with us for 3 weeks.
