This used to be a good establishment with quality products, now they are borderline shady and scammers. I wanted a usual urb dab disposable and they sold me a newer urb product that is horrible quality, didn't even work the first day I got it and tried to return it which was within 48 hours, and they said I couldn't return although, they told me to use it outside and they told me it was fine, they didn't care at all about my experience after the product was bought by me and totally switched up their attitude, especially the manager. Came to this place for the first time looking to buy a new bong and the worker was very helpful and was pushing us to buying a $100 bong he claimed would "last us years" and he even gave us a discount on it since we were not considering spending anything over $40 on a bong. He was very pushy about it and told us if anything happened we can come in and get a new one. Not even a couple weeks later we are using it and the bowl bottom randomly breaks and gets stuck in the down stem. WE WERE LITERALLY JUST SMOKING IT and it happened out of nowhere for no reason. Brought it back to the store and told them about their guarantee it would last years and they did not give us our money back and were very rude about it. I am sure any college aged person has no problem walking in this store and receive perfectly reasonable service since the staff would be of the same age. I am not that young. I am also not that savy about the current smoking options especially when it comes to vaping. I am a perfect customer for you and you asked me no questions. You made no attempt to make eye contact with me, at all. When I finally speak up and ask for some direction on where your rolling papers are you point to the wall behind your cashier. Still making no eye contact with me. I am older, my eyesight sucks and I can't read the different kinds so far away. So I ask if I can step forward to see better and I was shooed back with distain and told that that was against the law. Still no offer to bring me some of what you have to offer me at the glass counter. At this point i leave, not more than 3 minutes into my visit. Was this horrendous? No. But what I wanted to point out in this post is that everyone is a customer. No matter how old or un-hip. Will I suggest to any of my hippie friends of the same age to visit your store? Wildside in Amherst is pretty decent for buying vaping products. Their ejuice is some of the best I've ever used, they seem to have some high quality products, that being said, their inventory is constantly changing. If you find an ecig model that you like at the shop and it breaks or you lose it, chances are you won't able to find the same model on the shelf a week later. The best part of wildside is the staff. I've never been to a shop with more attentive accommodating staff. Every person working there has been overwhelmingly helpful, personally I have had the best experience with Mike, he's the guy with long blondish hair and dresses like Theo Huckstable from the Cosby show. Every time I've purchased something from him he always gives me an awesome sale price or package deal, he's even thrown in his own pocket money to make sure that I leave satisfied. Mike has a gift for customer service for sure. Overall, wildside smoke shop is a convenient quality shop with decent prices that has managed to become a brilliant success based on their awesome staff, whoever does the hiring over there has found a group of folks that genuinely care about the stuff in the shop and the customer buying it. Amherst needed a smoke shop quite badly, and then Wildside came around! They have a wide selection for surprisingly reasonable prices. The store is clean and well lit with a large variety of items. I bought a giant glass pipe there for california prices and have gone back several times with friends to buy glass. The workers are nice and patient, and can talk a good bargin. As for selection, they have just about every type of glass you could want + accessories. They have some really legit art pieces and are an authorized ROOR dealer. They have a small-medium sized hookah selection, and have a decent selection of sheeshas, unfortunately nothing made in house though. They also have two or three kinds of vapes, but did not have an impressive line up (I'm really nit picking here). I am very happy that Wildside opened up. I purchased a product at this store on 2/6/16. The product worked once. I went back to the store for a refund the next day but they will not refund my money. They said I have to go through the company that made the product. According to that company, I have to send the product to them and they might send me a new one. Everything I've bought from here has fallen apart or cracked from simple every day use.

I've been going to Wildside for years but something happened the other day that ensured that I will never be returning. So I go in last Saturday looking for a replacement for a piece that I had just broken, and the guy working delivered some of the worst customer service I have ever had to experience. First off, he barely even acknowledged me and my friends when we walked in, and it wasn't until we went up to him that he even tried to help us. The whole time it felt like he was just trying to get us out of the store. Heres the really fucked up part though: when I did finally pick out a piece the guy tells me that there is "no water in the store right now" to test the piece, and not only that, but he said that we couldn't even use our own water to test it! Despite my friends advice I just bought the piece without testing it because I didn't want to cause a scene, but when I went to finally try it out THE THING DID NOT WORK, EVEN REMOTELY. I SHIT YOU NOT, WATER WOULDN'T EVEN PULL THROUGH. THIS GUY KNEW THAT THE PIECE WAS SHIT AND DIDNT WANT US TO TEST IT. And its not like this was a $20 piece, it cost almost $70 all told. So I go back a few days later, not expecting a full refund or anything, just hoping for a discount of a new piece or something, and the guy I met with (Charlie) was even more of an asshole! This guy wouldn't even let me bring the piece in question into the store, he kept cutting me off and telling me that there was nothing he could do. Absolute bullshit. No refund. No discount.
