Awesome, awesome, awesome! Our other plans fell through at the last minute, but the staff at Wild Wave Watercraft worked extra hard to get us in so our family could enjoy a beautiful afternoon on the lake. The boat was beautiful and ran like a dream. The staff helped load our cooler/towels, etc on the boat and helped us pick out life jackets for our kiddos. They have inner tube rentals, jet skis, pontoon boats, but we just rented a speedboat, so I can't speak for any of their other rentals, but the staff was AMAZING! read more

We could not have had a better experience renting a pontoon boat for our family of ten for a day on Flathead Lake! We were quoted a price a couple weeks in advance but wanted to wait to book the boat in case the weather wasn't cooperating. We booked the boat last minute and we were treated like family. The kids were all expertly fitted for life jackets, we got a great demonstration and safety instructions and they even helped when we weren't so confident as new boaters launching the boat. The whole process was seamless with clear communication. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and kind. Everyone in the family said their day on the pontoon was the best day of our whole vacation! read more

Absolutely do not rent from them. Speakers worked only 1/2 the time, broken doors, torn seats... overall just a absolutely trashed boat. We got there at our scheduled time and we weren't in the water until almost a full hour later. They were extremely unprepared and the boat wasn't even set up when we arrived with the equipment we paid extra to have. All the equipment was extremely worn and not well taken care of. At the end of our trip we go back. It then takes them a good thirty minutes to get to the dock which is right across the street. Once he gets it they go to fill up the tank, which by the way, is on you. The boat that has a 80gal tank, started on full, and was only ran for 5hours magically held 90 gallons. 100% a scam. Would absolutely not recommend. read more

Took a trip to MT and wanted to hire two pontoon boats for a half day, from the moment we arrived Joe the manager was very rude and I helpful. He said he only had one for us even after we had talked to him the day before and he said he had two, he then told us someone else choose to move their booking so we could have one, which makes no sense. He then charged us for a full day we when only used it and wanted a half day, when we asked him about the charge He said a button was broken and would fix it / refund us when we returned. We left with a tube and asked if they had given us the rope, they said yes but there was not rope, and they rang and told us to come back and get it. When we returned my friend asked Joe about the refund for the full day to half day, Joe refused to refined us for the full day and said it wasn't a mistake. He then flipped my friend off in plan sight for all my young kids to see. Would love to be contacted by the owner as this experience was not nice. And will not be recommending this place to anyone. read more

Avoid this place at all cost. Rented 2 pontoons for a half day on July 20th, 2020. We worked mostly with Joe who was the manager. We reserved 1 pontoon a week in advance and then called in to add a 2nd, smaller pontoon 2 days before. We were told on the phone "no problem, we have one for you". The day of the reservation one of the families in our party arrived early and were told that they only had the one pontoon and no others were available until the following week. Once I arrived, after a few minutes talking with Joe, he said that he actually did have a 2nd pontoon. This is where I started to realize that about half of everything Joe said to us was a lie. I paid the balance on the "pre-reserved pontoon" and then he charged my friends card for the 2nd pontoon. After looking at the receipt my friend discovered that he had been charged the full day rate. After asking about it we were told, that it was the right rate and that the pontoon we were getting had a "bigger engine" so it cost the same as the full day rate. The receipt said "full day" so we pushed back again. Then he said the system hadn't been updated but it was right. We asked if he had a rate card.. "no". Then we pulled up the site and prices listed and were told "the site hasn't been updated this year because of COVID"... we walked out of the shack and decided just to split the extra cost evenly and get the dozen or so kids that were patiently waiting on the water. The place isn't actually on the water so they actually had to tow the boats over to the lake. By the time we were loaded and driving on the lake we were almost 30 min into our reservation time. The pontoons were in pretty rough shape. Only the gas gauge worked on the pontoon I was driving. Our pontoon did have a ladder sitting in it but no where to attach it. They gave us a tube but no rope to tow it. We made the best of our time on the water and headed back. Upon returning we brought up the full day charge again. That conversation ended with joe admitting that he charged the full day rate because it was a "last min reservation"(even though we had called and set it up ahead of time), that we could have paid $100 more to have the boats for another 4 hours (we were originally told that due to "COVID" 12:30-4:30 was the latest 1/2 day spot), and he gave us the middle finger behind our backs as we walked away (we didn't see it but our kids did....classy Joe, really classy). I grew up working at resorts in northern MN, driving pontoons, renting them, giving tours on the lake. Giving people that summertime experience that they hope for and pay for. You will not get this with wild waves. Their staff is burnt out and should not be working in the tourist industry. read more

People seemed nice enough to work with at first. I was told I was renting a new 26 ft Tahoe Pontoon for the 4th.. At first they told me I could pay extra to keep over night to watch fireworks, but then on the day of rental said I could not with out a boat slip? So I returned it at 730 pm. They still charged me the overnight fee. Also, when my family got there it was a totally thrashed boat .. NOT new and the radio would not work. Danielle states "they rent boats, not radios " They charge you for fuel and do not supply a receipt. VERY unhappy with this unprofessional business. DO NOT recommend.. Scam like!! Cover all your bases if you are renting from them. They are non negotiable also if you are unhappy. read more

Rented a pontoon for our group of 8 today. It was the one thing I wanted to do during our trip in Montana, but a lot of places were full or charged a lot more. Got a really reasonable four hour rental with a tube. Easy to find (right behind the Dairy Queen and a Gad Station/Casino), people were friendly, boat was clean. Flathead was so much fun to be out on! Only bummers were our radio didn't work, and the gas wound up being $65 to fill it up. But that wasn't even enough to damper our day. Next time we visit Montana we'll definitely rent from these guys again! read more

I have traveled many places and the boat and service was impeccable! From the time we rolled up and questioned the price to the time the boat was in the water was 20 minutes! Super friendly, provided a map of the lake. Definitely the easiest boat I have ever rented! The boat itself was the oldest in the fleet and was in excellent condition! I would definitely come back and would recommend to everyone who is looking to have a good time on Flathead Lake!!!! read more

We use to rent from Ron every summer but we decided to try a different place this year. The last two times we rented speed boats from him the equipment was so old there were buttons falling off from the control panel, front lights were out and we rented to pass sundown, so it was a little scary trying to get back to shore. He sounded angry when we had mentioned all that to him and I feel like all he cares about is money. He really didn't seem concern about us and our well being being out there on lake coming in late without lights and a boat thats incapable of doing anything. read more

Just completed a two day boat rental. Service at the dock was extremely slow. Boat rental rates were high. Owner was rude and uncooperative when we returned the rental. He treated his staff with extreme disrespect. "They just pump the gas, and they are good at that, but they can't do anything else." I felt bad for his staff who DID treat us with respect and were trying to do a good job. This was also done with other customers waiting who witnessed his unacceptable behavior. I would recommend getting your boat rental elsewhere. Not worth the hassle or the price. read more
