Their business is primarily a sales point rather than repair. To that end their business model is to overcharge for maintenance and repair and try to move people seeking repairs into the sales room. Rude, pretentious, and subpar with an air of believing they are the only game in town. I had to call the sherriffs office in order reacquire my golf cart without further incident. Even the officers who showed up told me I was wise to do so as the owners wife had to be repeatedly told by both deputies to stop taking to me and approaching me. When the cart was returned to my home they left 2 lug nuts off the front wheel and two tires were inflated. I have since mentioned this to about half a dozen other service vendors and neighbors who have golf carts and ALL OF THEM share similar stories and attitudes to mine. read more

FOLLOW UP TO MY FIRST REVIEW: Wildar is not to be trusted with sales or service. They are a disgrace to small business. I bought my cart there about 16 months ago and it has been taken for service of faulty parts twice in that time. Twice for the back seat platform cracking, and during the second visit I reported that there was also something wrong with the front end as there was a loud clunking sound when I turned the wheel. After being charged twice for the labor to replace the back seat and the necessary pick up and delivery charges I paid around $600. All for a $9,000 brand new golf cart. Although it was the same problem that occurred (obviously a poor design) twice, I was responsible. In fact, they blamed me and said I must have put too much weight on the platform. I only use it for my household trash. When I originally purchased the cart I was told it had a 10 year warranty. WRONG. I have since discovered that it was a 2 year warranty, parts only. When they had it the second time, I was told that the clunking was a front shock that fell within warranty standards of normal wear and tear. That did not sound right to me, but I am not a mechanic or dealer. I called Golf Cart Centers so they could look at it. They picked it up the same day, found and fixed the problems they found, and returned it the next day. It had a broken control arm, the whole front end was loose and it was seriously out of alignment. I guess that Wildar needs a new mechanic. I guess they need to stop being lazy and actually pursue the warranty with the Chinese company they buy from. I guess Wildar needs to stop bullshitting about their products and their service. I have now spent $1,400 for my 16 month old golf cart. Stay away - you have options. PS - I also was told at time of sale that it would not rust. WRONG. read more

The owner himself pulled a bait and switch on me because I was a woman, asking the right questions and didn't have a man by my side thought he could trick me on the price. Sticker on vehicle did not represent the vehicle. He said oh if I did that it would cost more. What??? I said. -so His reaction. He removed the sticker when I told him he was bait n switching n asked how many more do you have in your lot stickered like this? Furious of his trickery I left. Golf cart wouldn't take charge. They took 3 weeks to install a new charger. Communication was nonexistent from get-go. I made all calls to them to see when cart would be done and my calls were not returned. Promise dates weren't kept. When their guy picked up my cart at my home, I received nothing in writing to indicate they had it in their possession. Needless to say, I will not use them again. read more

Bought golf cart from them and had a issue after 2 days. They did fix it without charge. So far so good. Next time one of the batteries broke down and they pick up the cart for service. Also they told me what expenses will be for not to get them repaired it. They did repair it and told me the total price, not detailed but total price which would be complete price. And after payment I notice that it wasn't complete price but there were something extra for billing. Also the diagnostic charge as $ 80 were added the bill while that would apply ONLY if they do not repair the cart. Note that I'm not blaming them for the battery issues. The service department and persons related to them as well as transportation are really nice ,friendly and informative. But the billing department not so much. Can't barely have to change to talk with her. Repairs were done relatively quick and professional but be aware with billing department. read more

my experience with this dealer was not good. I am a novice golf cart enthusiast. I spoke with the service manager for a repair and some service. He assured me they could do the work. I didn't have time and needed the job done. He was very accommodating and convincing. Well I decided to let them do work. I had the part and dropped off at service shop. When I got there the cart was apart. The tech needed some guidance. I thought they would know more than i would as I am an amateur and they do it for living. I was Wrong. Turned out they did not know the workings of my cart. They called me to receive payment and drop off cart. I was not at location and trusted they would drop off cart at location. I had asked the manager if cart was good and he assured me it was. I arrived at my home to give the cart a test drive only to find out it was not working at all the way it was when they picked it up. I called and the manager said he would make it right. He arranged pick a day later. They never showed up. there are others in area.
