My mom really wanted to ride horses & she found this company via web search! We were SO HAPPY with our ride! Our ride guide was named VINNY & he was AWESOME! He even took photos of us during the ride :) He really made the experience feel personal, informative, fun, and exciting! He gave us bites of info along the trail, cracked jokes, made conversation and was truly the best guide. I rode Maverick (white horse with blue eyes so handsome!!), my mom rode Ty, and my little brother rode Jabañero! All horses were so sweet & the ride was so smooth. The weather was a spectacular 70/80 with not a cloud in the sky.. I 100% recommend this company & don't have enough good things to say about them. My husband and I had an amazing time on the River Ride with horses Maverick and Ty and Vinnie, our guide. I have not ridden for over a decade and it was the perfect speed and level of difficultly for me. My husband has had more recent experience and he was a bit more confident on the horse but he had a great time as well. The ride is so beautiful next to the Deschutes River and you go over meandering trails that narrow and open up. The horses love to grab a snack of fresh grass here and there so there's a little something in it for everyone. Vinnie was a great guide; he was the perfect amount of laid back but also very attentive when I had a question and he was very personable without being overbearing and gave us some space to enjoy our ride. They give you a helmet and safety vest so I felt like they are attentive to safety as well. The length and quality of the ride and being able to do it with just the two of us rather than a huge group made the price tag well worth it and I would definitely ride with them again. read more

We drove down from Seattle never been to Bend. The last ride I did was a group of 30 and tail to head boring loop in Red Canyon. This was a totally different and AH-mazing couple hours. I spoke to Vinny on Wednesday to arrange a Sunday ride. He was hilarious and answered all my questions and provided a lot of suggestions for the area. He also sent me pictures of the horses we would be riding (Cactus, Tye, & sassy Maverick are very photogenic:) Quick online form to fill out and can pay online or cash. Very easy. The ride itself, we chose the Paulina Creek Ride. It was a 25 min drive from Hampton Inn Old Mill area. The horses were waiting when we arrived. I had also been in contact w Sharyn Sun morning several times to verify we had the right horses etc, communication was top notch. The horses all had their own personality and I loved it. The ride was beautiful and the horseswere allowed to stop and get in the water if they wanted. Both S and V truly wanted the ride to be excellent and it was. I would def book with them again. Cost was a bit more than some of the resorts haha my BF had a bit of a fit when I told him how much but seriously it was worth every bit of the $600 for both of us. It was personal and we got to experience nature in only the way you can riding a beautiful beast that is sharing their electromagnetism with you!! Vinny told us all about how our spines tingle and send all those electrons up to your brain, LOVED the convo, horses and of course the beautiful Mother Earth.
