i have to start by saying i had a very pleasant experience overall, and steph was kind and reassuring. she was able to work well with my eye twitching from nervousness and light exposure, which i imagine can't be easy. but my time there is not why my review is so low, it's because how short-lived my lashes lasted. i've never had my lashes done before, so i did some research on my own about what to expect, so i was somewhat prepared on the longevity of my lashes and that they wouldn't last as long as someone who regularly gets their eyelashes extended... but i was really disappointed with how long they ACTUALLY lasted, which was maybe 5 days. i had them from april 30th (when i got them done), to may 5th. by then i had maybe 3 extensions left on each eye and i ended up just removing the rest on my own because there were basically none.. i don't understand what i did wrong to cause my lashes to come out so prematurely as i still have all my natural lashes. i slept on a silk pillow, changed my sleeping position to my back, wore no makeup, brushed them once in the morning and once at night, and used no oil products. by the end of day 5 i looked so silly with like 3 extensions on each eye that i just had to remove them myself. the experience itself was pleasant and i enjoyed them up until day 3, but overall i'm just extremely disappointed that i spent over $150 for something that didn't even last a week, whereas i paid less than $80 for my nails and they last 1-2 months. i can't say that i will be trying extensions again anytime soon... :*( read more

Haleigh has done my brows many times. She waxed and then dyes them. The facilities are always clean, they adhere to health standards and wear masks when required. When I first entertained the idea of getting false lashes, I was extremely concerned about safety, quality and the overall experience. I was referred to Haleigh by the lady who does my hair and I have been seeing her for several years. Haleigh has went above and beyond ANY esthetician I have ever encountered. Due to my busy and demanding schedule, Haleigh often adjusts her schedule to make time for me. I've often reached out to her at the last minute and she always makes a genuine effort to get me in, even if it means inconveniencing her. Haleigh is always professional, caring and sweet. The quality of her works shows she wants to do a great job and wants her customers to walk away feeling beautiful and satisfied with their experience. Any issue I've had with my lashes, she has been quick to respond and quick to correct the issue. I was running late for my appointment today by 12 minutes due to a wreck. I called and asked if this was okay. I was told yes, it's fine. When I arrived, I was told my lashes would not be as "full" as they should be and my 1.5 hour appointment time would be shaved down by 12 minutes. I was confused because I've never been told this before. The lady at the front was pretty rude and speaking over me and led me to the bathroom area where I waited for 12 additional minutes. Apparently there was a miscommunication and she thought I needed to use the restroom? She came back and asked if I "got lost." I thought she was having me wait there. At this point she tells me that an hour isn't enough time and I should probably reschedule..seriously? Poor customer service and communication. If it wasn't okay for me to show up a little late, she could have told me that on the phone. She could have told me she wasn't going to be able to provide the totality of what I would be paying for and I would have rescheduled. Now, I'm getting charged $50 for having to cancel over her lack of communication due to their policy. Completely wack experience, I won't be back. read more

Haleigh is amazing at lashes! I was hesitant to start doing eyelash extensions because I'm pretty low maintenance. Now I can not live without them! I chose the "natural" application over "volume" for my first visit, and it was perfect for me. It has been life changing to NEVER need mascara! Even when I have no makeup on, I feel polished and pretty. For the summer it is awesome to spend the whole weekend at the lake and feel beautiful, without the hassle of melting makeup. Her suite in downtown Denton is cute, dimly lit and cozy, and I look forward to laying down and just relaxing. Haleigh works quickly and the lashes stay on forever! read more

I went to Wildflower Lash and Beauty Parlor for lash extensions for the first time in 6 years. I was very excited and had some understanding of how the process should be. When I first went in I came in with a fresh and clean face and was super excited. There wasn't a sign on her door saying she was with a client and to wait so I just went on in and interrupted someone else's session. When it was my turn I told her that I wanted a classic full set. I asked about wearing a mask and she told me I could if I was more comfortable that way. I chose not to but looking back I should have worn a mask because she didn't wear one either. She didn't clean or prep my lashes before gluing the extensions at all. Shes didn't ask if I had any allergies or if I had had extensions before. Nothing. I didn't see or hear where she got her tools from. I can't even be certain how sanitized they were. I didn't get any information beforehand on what to do before my appointment and I didn't get any aftercare instructions except for a brush. When I got home I took a good look at my lashes and could see the huge gap between my natural lash line and the extension. After a couple of days, the extensions started turning and falling in my eyes. I was pulling out the extensions with my natural lash attached because it was so irritating. I felt rushed out the door after not even an hour of being there. When I asked about a fill session she just said two weeks. I wasn't told that she would check-in to see if I was happy and/or what the lash retention looked like. I have had extensions before and that woman did the opposite of Wildflower. I want others to be informed of how my experience was and how I won't be going back. I went back to the person I used to go to 6 years ago for a lash correction only a week and a half after getting my lashes done at Wildflower. read more
