This was my first time at the Cinebites event and overall, it was ok. I think the experience could…read morehave been better and I'll outline why. When bought the tickets, there was no indication as to what was on the menu. One of the people in my group has a nut and shellfish allergy, but there was no where on the ticket purchase screen to note this. Normally, reservations would have this option to make sure they can prepare ahead of time. I took a chance and hoped they would ask this when we arrived. We came as a party of four to the Lady and the Tramp movie and the event was listed from 6:30-9:00 but doesn't mention when the doors would open. We arrived at 6:15 thinking that we could sit down and use the facilities before the movie started, but the doors were locked and there was no sign. Several other customers did the same and I assume they were under the same impression. Would have been helpful in the email communication to let customers know when the doors open so they aren't arriving too early and having to wait. When we sat down, the hostess let us know it was open seating and to not leave too many gaps, which is fine, but their setup was not exactly couple friendly. Each table could seat 3 people and since we were a group of 4, the 4th person had to sit in the next table, which felt a little disconnected. One small popcorn bag was placed for every 3 people, so if you had a 4th person in the group, they would have either shared with the group they came with or with a stranger. The menu was on each table, there were no ingredients or allergy mentions. The menu looked standard and the dishes listed don't typically have any shellfish or nuts. There were no announcements made when everyone arrived and no one to greet us other than the hostess at the front. We waited for a while and then at 6:52, the movie started. One the movie started playing, we noticed immediately that the speakers on the left side of the room weren't working. It was hard to hear the movie the rest of the night and I'm not sure if this was just a technical issue that day. When the food started arriving, we had one dish that had almonds and we had to ask the server to send it back because of the allergy. I asked if there were any more items on the list with shellfish or nuts, but they seemed confused at the ask and didn't know. This could potentially cause severe reactions and the Cinebites teams should take this in consideration. Luckily the salad was remade and no issues came up. When the movie was done, the staff came out with a microphone to thank everyone for coming and then had a parade of the staff. It was cool to see those that worked there to make things happen that evening. Now knowing they had a microphone, it would have been nice for them to welcome guests in at the beginning and given directions to those who have never been here before. While I know this is not to the same level as the other Movie and Dinner events out there, it was something new to try out and nice that Utah has something like this.

Food was really tasty and timing was excellent loved how you got drinks too! I did have one note that the movie wasnt good quality. They streamed it from a laptop to the projector and we watched the movie in 720p the entire time. Just a little fuzzy. When going to a movie event I expect it to be a minimum of 1080p and honestly 4k but overall a fun experience.

The class was well worth the price as all the food and an accompanying board was included as well as a complimentary "mocktail" bar and specialty tasting of select cheeses and spreads. We hosted a late luncheon around 4:30 and they catered the most delicious meal--their cheese ravioli and chicken pasta was divine! Complete with salad and breadsticks and drinks. I know they offer other meals too that I'm sure are wonderful, but they knocked this one right out of the park! We arrived the night before to set up a few little things of our own: photos, picture book, arch where the bride and groom stand. But other than that, they had EVERYTHING decorated and ready to go. And boy oh boy was it BEAUTIFUL! Great lighting, stunning furniture, beautiful brick walls, clean bathrooms and bride-room. It was amazing. The best part was they really did everything in that department, all we had to do was show up and try to look as good as the venue itself! Mitzi & Scott are the owners and they are some of the nicest and easiest people to work with. Scott was the music magician all night and announced the program throughout. He did a fabulous job! And Mitzi was behind the scenes making sure everything ran perfect and smooth. They catered a waffle bar during the reception (again, deliciously perfect and my mouth is salivating while writing this) and even boxed up some for my cute mom to take home at the end of the night since she didn't get a chance to taste it. If you need a place to host anything, this is the one! TIPS & TRICKS: * It's in a great location! Movie theater, restaurants, indoor skydiving, and the Ogden Temple are not only within eyesight but also walking distance--they really live up to their name! So make a day of it, go enjoy Ogden :)

I think by now you all are well aware of the Interactive Flick Movie In The Woods Hocus Pocus --…read moreDallas fiasco that went down last night. Fyer Festival is all that comes to mind here. I don't usually review but since the folks you have running your facebook page are blocking attendees from commenting and deleting the copious amount of negative feedback you are rightfully getting, I've been left no choice. Ticket holders for future events are expressing their concern for their upcoming event due to the reviews. You all are responding with "We had a GREAT event last night!" and then rushing to delete and block those who are telling the accurate portrayal of what went down. Positive reviews are coming from those who got there are at 5:00. The movie started at 7:30. You shouldn't have to arrive 2 1/2 hours early to not regret your purchase. You can't just make it like it didn't happen. Not when it was this bad. Let's start the list: You oversold tickets by what seemed like double. Even if attendees arrived an hour early, the car line to enter the event took an hour and a half. There were 3 food trucks, one of which, was out of food before the movie even started. The trucks with food, had an hour wait time for a corn dog. 5 fire pits for a massive field filled with people. What fun kids games and activities were you speaking of? You turned away paying customers who were still in line. You lied and told people commenting on facebook about the delay and asking if you'd hold the movie. You played it anyway. I've seen Hocus Pocus, it wasn't about the movie but the experience you promised. I understand issues but the responses from whomever is managing your facebook page are snide and unacceptable. Blocking disgruntled customers and deleting their comments to save yourself is truly sad. I hope you learn from this event and whoever is responding on facebook is condescending and not at all apologetic. I will be sure to avoid any event you are affiliated with in the future.

They blasted their facebook page that you could email them for a refund if you were unable to get parking. It looks like it was all for show to placate the angry facebookers for throwing an ill planned event because they are asking for names of attendants and a password to get out of issuing refunds. I also know they are doing this selectively. I have unused tickets that were never scanned. You should be able to tell that and issue a refund. Bad business and amounts to nothing more than theft. Would NOT even recommend this business for planning a tea party for stuffed animals.

They had a full catered meal with desserts and drinks, since the company is also a catering company. The food overall was good, and it was nice to be able to take a snack break if you needed. Expect to spend at least $50 on your terrarium. I knew I would spend money there but I wish there was a little more info about this ahead of time. The plant and decor options were good, I do with I had another smaller terrarium option. There were **70** people in our class. Far too many in my opinion. It was hard to walk around sometimes and we ended up in a smaller back room (which actually we were fine with due to sound levels). So go early if you want a table in the main room. They have a lot of people to help out. Everyone was super nice and helpful but we especially loved working with Susan! She was really informative, we appreciated her experience.

They proposed a spot-on menu that fit our theme and made sure to accompany it with matching table settings and branded accessories-absolutely knocking it out of the park. Not only was the end product great, but they were excellent to work with, despite our ever-changing headcount, menu adjustments and last minute adjustments to the venue setup. I appreciated their flexibility and "roll with it" attitude. We ended up with more food than we needed, and they were wonderful to package it all up and provide it to us. My favorite part of it all was that they took care of everything from setup to serving and cleanup. There was enough on my plate-literally-that I was so grateful not to have to worry about the food. I'll be sure to reach out to them again when planning future events.
