Main st is known for getting all of the tourists window shopping. Heck, I even bought a tee shirt at one of the stores on Main St as an impulse buy. Our friends bought a beautiful blanket with the Montauk emblem on it. When we went to Gosman's Doc and stepped inside Kai-Kai? I saw the "same" blanket but was marked down 50% off! 50% is a big savings! Lets do a test. You have twenty bucks in your pocket. Now give to me $10 bucks. Sucks right? Keep your money my Yelp friend! You're taking the time and reading my reviews, I should be able to pass my savings on to you. This store I also need to point out, has quality clothing. Its been my favorite store to shop at for over 25 years. We've purchased items for every member of my family with no complaints. Oh and that 50% blanket? I couldn't let it go! When I fly to Disney in a few weeks, I'll be wrapped up, snug as a bug in a rug. Go Montauk! :D

One of our first port calls was in Newport, so after touring some of the historic homes in the area, finding shoes was job #1. I was warned by locals that there weren't many shoe stores in town and those that were around were $$$$. That was certainly my initial experience when looking at the touristy Bowen's Wharf area. They even took a dress down from their display for me because it was the only one left in the size I wanted. They're also very knowledgeable about what they have in their shop.
