Most recently, they exhibited some wonderful black-and-white shots by Ilka Hartmann, a local photographer who made a name for herself through documenting political issues like the Black Panther movement and the Native American occupation of Alcatraz. I make a point of popping in every time I'm in town, and I'm looking forward to seeing whatever is on display next.

There's also a courtyard in the center with benches, flowers and songbirds, all of which make for a relaxing spot to sit for a few minutes. It's not a big museum, but the exhibits are top notch. Plus, in a region with a skyrocketing cost of living, it's nice that the museum is free.

The artist is usually hanging around or finishing a recent painting. Michael paints the various views of the area, lakes, streams, hills, back alleys, and the odd corner vistas of our town. He and his work are an absolute must see to appreciate. And globes are even MORE fun. So my imagination was awed and inspired by the works that Wendy has created and has on display in her space. I didn't have a lot of time to explore everything on offer there, but I did make sure to buy one of the "studies" that she did. And I'll definitely be back to look into having a pin-map made for one of my friends who often travels on business. 5/5 stars!

I have a family member who occasionally displays artwork at this gallery, so I am well acquainted with their consistent high quality. I visit a few times a year and find unique pieces here. Certainly worth stopping in. I wish they sold online, but I've not found a site for online sales. Also, the offerings are reasonably priced.
