Yesterday morning, I went in for a builder gel set and requested a short stiletto shape. Unfortunately, the nails I received looked nothing like what I asked for. The shape, design, and overall appearance were not what I expected, and I left the salon very unhappy with the results. At the time, I chose not to say much because I was trying to be understanding and respectful. However, I feel that the technician and staff could clearly see that the nails were uneven, poorly shaped, and not representative of the service I requested. I should never have been allowed to leave the salon with nails that looked like this. Today, I returned to explain my concerns after having another nail technician fix and completely redo my nails. The receptionist told me that I should have come back to them first and that they would have taken care of it. While I understand that, when I showed and explained my concerns, I felt that they still did not fully understand why I was unhappy with the outcome. This is not about the money. I spent approximately $170, including my own nails and my granddaughter's nails. My disappointment comes from the lack of quality, attention to detail, and professionalism. When a client asks for a specific service, they should leave feeling satisfied and confident--not embarrassed by the results. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning to Luxury Nails, nor would I recommend them to others. Customer satisfaction should be a priority, and sadly, that was not my experience

She has made my dreams come true with more than one set and she uses such advanced techniques. She is also the nicest, funniest person. You can be silent if you want or have a whole gossip session. Either way you're going to have great nails at the end. I've lived in this town 20 years and been to 15+ countries around the world. The atmosphere here is like no other nail salon I've ever been to. Bob and Anna (who own the place) and all the staff there make you feel like family!!!!

Nail tech was rude. I told him I wanted a full acrylic set and he preceded to put the acrylic on my…read moreown nails. I told him I wanted to have tips put on but he ignored me. Never gave me a choice of colors to look at. He just asked what color I wanted. I told him a sheer light pink and he gave me more of a peach or coral color which I couldn't tell until I got outside. I went back in and said the color was not what I wanted and could he change it. He seemed annoyed but said he would. Still didn't show me any colors so I said just give me something close to what I came in with. The new color was much better but he said "don't come back in 2 days and say you need to change the color again because your husband doesn't like it". I will not be back.

The first I broke when my baby was passed to me. The second I broke by getting something out of my trunk. I was informed they insure there work so hoping they fix them for me free of charge.

I really wanted to love my experience but unfortunately I left disappointed…read more I paid $340+ for an ombré with dimensions, root touch up, toner, and haircut (before tip). Before we started, I described exactly what I wanted and showed my stylist, Erin, an inspiration photo. She also showed me a similar reference photo that was slightly less light, and we agreed on the overall look. When the appointment was over my stylist made it a point to show me the back first because she acknowledged it didn't look like what we discussed. She styled it nicely to try to disguise it. She even commented that the front hadn't received enough bleach. Since we both recognized it wasn't the result we discussed, I scheduled a follow up appt before I left the salon. However, when I called about the follow-up, I learned it was being treated as a new color service that included another toner, root-touch up, and money pieces. I wasn't looking for money pieces or a different service, I just wanted the ombré we had discussed to be more noticeable, in the back and especially in the front. I don't feel comfortable paying for another color service when I felt the original result was not what we agreed on. So I won't be returning. Everyone was polite while I was there but I'm very disappointed with both the outcome of my appointment and how the follow-up was handled.
