Yesterday morning, I went in for a builder gel set and requested a short stiletto shape. Unfortunately, the nails I received looked nothing like what I asked for. The shape, design, and overall appearance were not what I expected, and I left the salon very unhappy with the results. At the time, I chose not to say much because I was trying to be understanding and respectful. However, I feel that the technician and staff could clearly see that the nails were uneven, poorly shaped, and not representative of the service I requested. I should never have been allowed to leave the salon with nails that looked like this. Today, I returned to explain my concerns after having another nail technician fix and completely redo my nails. The receptionist told me that I should have come back to them first and that they would have taken care of it. While I understand that, when I showed and explained my concerns, I felt that they still did not fully understand why I was unhappy with the outcome. This is not about the money. I spent approximately $170, including my own nails and my granddaughter's nails. My disappointment comes from the lack of quality, attention to detail, and professionalism. When a client asks for a specific service, they should leave feeling satisfied and confident--not embarrassed by the results. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I will not be returning to Luxury Nails, nor would I recommend them to others. I'd rather find a nail tech on Facebook and support small than think about this place again. I'd hope my experience was an outlier compared to others. I feel bad for being so disappointed for choosing this place and not having a better review. I left holding back tears bc of how bad my nails turned out. I don't usually treat myself so I'm not too familiar with salon etiquette. The tech was rushing and it showed. The tech made me bleed twice, which it happens, whatever. I was more disgusted by seeing the tools that drew blood get put back like nothing happened. After she got done rushing, I got oblong uneven shaped nails and parts of my nail missing polish. As well as leaving with leftover powder dried underneath my nails. I won't be letting the name luxury deceive me. I thought more TLC would be given. First let me say , It takes me a while to find a place I like to have anything done. My hair, get my car clean, who cleans my house, and especially who does my nails. Mailee has been doing my nails for a while now after I've had a few tech do them for me, I am big on designs I can bring in a picture and ask her can you do this. and she will tell, If she can or not.She always ask if I need something to drink. First the good... they messed up and made an attempt to fix it... Jason pushed my daughters cuticle back then did an acrylic set that looked so bad my 13 yr old daughter who rarely gets her nails done was like... this gap is huge! She looked like she needed a fill as soon as she got up... the manager came and agreed and said she would fix my daughter's nails... After we wait for 20 mins here's the return of JASON! I just let him do it because we had already been waiting there forever... he did better after 1hr... he redid her entire set...NEVER COMING BACK! After walking out of an awkward experience at another local Nail Salon, I came across this place and was a little bit nervous to book because I usually like to request people who have good reviews on yelp although on Sundays, they only take walk-ins. I had a severely broken nail that was like halfway up my nail bed so I was desperate and decided to take the risk and let them place me with someone who was available. I got really lucky and had a wonderful experience. The customer service was great. They were very accommodating. TIFFANY did my nails and she did an amazing job. The shape is beautiful and she took her time to make sure that the edges looked nice. Couldn't be happier with a walk-in experience. I will definitely be requesting Tiffany next time I need my nails done! read more

This was a terrible experience. There was confusion from start to finish, even though my friend had made appointments for us days ago. John, who did my manicure, had dirty, long, scraggly nails himself! He performed a gel manicure without telling me, after my appointment was for a basic manicure. I paid for a manicure for myself and my friend. After paying the bill an employee found me while I was waiting on my friend and told me there was an error in the bill and I owed them more money. We were excited to get manicures, but this motley crew ruined our experience. I would recommend that everyone steer clear of this place. read more

Angela does awesome work , pays attention to detail and my nails always look great . She listens to what I say and is prompt to fix any problem right away. No complaints from me. She is very good at cutting the cuticles and when I leave I feel like a million bucks! read more

Had an appointment for a week, waited in the waiting area, then someone came to soak my feet, tech did not arrive. Called reception and asked how backed up was she? They told me it would just be a few more minutes. Feet soaked for a half hour, no one came, so I put my shoes on to leave, upon which the owner approached and suddenly found someone to do the pedicure. Told her too late. This happens too often here. When I went to desk to pay I realized the prices had changed considerably in my mind. I gave this place the benefit of the doubt, hoping this would be by new nail salon after out to Ocala. I've never seen someone do a full set in 30 minute first off. My pedicure was rushed and the cleanliness of tools were unacceptable. One of the tools fell on the ground and one of the workers tried to continue to use it on my feet. I would not recommend coming here if you care about your feet. read more

This is my first and last experience with this salon. I went to get mani pedis with my daughter. The pedi was subpar and impersonal, the lady - Jennifer acted cold and kept tanking on my daughter feet and hands and she was painting them. ( keep in mind I just wanted them painted) When it came to my manicure, I showed her what I was looking for ( see pic below). I'm not a picky person and I never get my nails done and I think this is why. She was rough, she asked my opinion and then complained about my response, and wait till you see the thickness of my nails. She did such a bad job that I had to take Tylenol for my aching fingers the following days. If I were this salon I would take the sign off the wall that says "review" our salon. i went to this nail salon on monday for my back to school nails, for a simple french tip. the acrylic was not all the way to the cuticle, and the lines were very squiggly and uneven. by wednesday my nails were completely chipped, even when i had been doing little to no extra work that might make me mess up my nails. this is unfair and on top of all of this, i had to wait about 45 minutes when there was chairs open and workers just on their phone. unbelievable. 1/10 do not recommend. i will never go back. read more

I had high hopes for this salon because it was so close to me. People were very nice and helpful and it was very clean and attractive. However it was the worst manicure I had ever received. The experience was pleasant and the pedicure acceptable, however the manicure I received was the worst I had ever had. The nail polish started peeling off within hours and my hangnails are terrible, as well as the nails were all uneven. Removing the hangnails is my prime reason for getting a manicure. The next day I caught myself chewing off a hangnail when I realized they were all no better than when I went in. In all fairness my friend received an acceptable manicure, but my nails did not look like I had been anywhere near a salon. So disappointed. read more

However, the other day I took my 5 year old nephew with me and he wanted his nails painted too...... JUST TO PAINT HIS NAILS was an additional $40. Regular paint. Not gel. For a 5 year old. It came off 15 minutes after we left.... $40.00 Kids paint should be $7 (I believe that is what's advertised for a basic paint) so I should of paid $15 max for his toes and nails. My mom and I walked in he told us each it would be 15 minutes. My mom went back and I waited 50 minutes and I wasn't even taken back yet. My mom was done and I didn't want to make her wait another hour for me. So I told the guy at the desk never mind my moms already done and he was rude. No apologies, just rude comments acting like it was my fault. After he told me it was just a 15 minute wait. They're unorganized and rude. read more

I don't recommend this place unless you are getting eyebrow or something simple , two different people did my nails but they are ugly both times , the manager gave the full in for free the second time I appreciate it but they can not polish nails , they are regular polish but any other nail salon knows this is ugly and unprofessional , just wish I can get my Money back. My friend has has a pedicure and all of the services have been top notch. When you go in, you are immediately asked how you can be helped.
