He's the consummate professional, an impeccable MC, and did a stellar job of catering music to the crowd. And he's an incredibly nice guy. When our wedding planner first recommended Alan, we were a little hesitant simply because we couldn't really find any reviews for him online. So, we met him for lunch, and quickly realized he was the right DJ for us - we hired him on the spot. We had Alan handle 3 different sound areas - our ceremony (outdoor), our cocktail hour, and the full DJ setup for our reception, and everything worked great. He actually came to our rehearsal the night before to see what the best sound setup was going to be for our ceremony - that was above and beyond our expectations. On top of that, he went further "above and beyond" and added a 4th sound area - we had a kids room where we were trying to play cartoons and movies for the kids. It did not occur to us beforehand that while the room had a projector and screen, there were no speakers for sound. Someone mentioned this to Alan, and he immediately went and set them up with speakers so the kids could watch their cartoons. My bride and I had no idea this even happened until the next day. Also, the "Love Story" Alan does is priceless - I highly recommend taking the time to give him the information he needs to put it together. I was somewhat hesitant and nervous about it, thinking it might be cheesy, but it was perfect - funny and engaging (which is very important when you're trying to keep the attention of a crowd of 150+ people).
