We messaged/emailed a couple of DJs and Mike (the only one) asked if we could have a short call to talk through what we wanted. Literally 30 seconds into the conversation, I knew we found the right person. Mike was so calm, so organized, he took our all over the place thoughts, organized them, AND fit them all together despite them being multiple genres and age groups.... Mike was the consummate professional and kept in contact with us up to the day, showed up two hours early for setup and sound check, and also was incredibly approachable for anyone that wanted to hear ANYTHING else on the playlist. Mike gave us music, lights, shout outs, and we made several obligatory speeches. Mike handled everything sound related, kept us organized, and kept people moving for the entire party. If you skipped all of the above - hire Mike. It will be set it and forget it. He did an incredible, ultra professional job and people were dancing all night. I've seen other people's weddings, I've seen other mobile DJs, they carry around P.O.S. gear, Wildphyre bring Pro Audio and BASS, for less then $1500 I got a DJ for 6 hours, 4 18" Subs, 2 Dual 15" Full Range Speakers, Real Trussing -not tripod truss- Cool LED Lighting Effects, and wall washes. The sound when we turned it up was off the chain! My wedding dance floor sounded better then most the clubs downtown! The staff at Wildphyre is super helpful and DJs are fun too. My buddy last year used Wildphyre for a Madden Football night on a 32 foot outdoor movie screen!! Cost him all of $1200, they brought out a truss frame and the visible screen size was 32 feet! they also brought out a few dual 15" full range speakers for volume. My brother just threw a Halloween party and used Wildphyre. Again, they came out with 10 times the sound quality any other mobile DJ would have. Plus they had very cool lighting. My review of Wildphyre Productions is 5 stars!! Theses guys have been doing this is Atlanta for a long time, and for the price they charge no one can beat them. Reliable, communicative, and supportive. He can easily mesh well with your videographers, coordinators, and team to make sure your entire event goes well. We're very satisfied with the outcomes. He even took awesome photos of us and created a highlight on IG for us to watch after our wedding. We loved seeing our special day from a different perspective. CON: 1. We didn't get the additional musicians TD recommended and regret it. I think others should consider it! Having more than 1 entertainer on the dance floor really heightens the energy. He's the consummate professional, an impeccable MC, and did a stellar job of catering music to the crowd. And he's an incredibly nice guy. When our wedding planner first recommended Alan, we were a little hesitant simply because we couldn't really find any reviews for him online. So, we met him for lunch, and quickly realized he was the right DJ for us - we hired him on the spot. We had Alan handle 3 different sound areas - our ceremony (outdoor), our cocktail hour, and the full DJ setup for our reception, and everything worked great. He actually came to our rehearsal the night before to see what the best sound setup was going to be for our ceremony - that was above and beyond our expectations. On top of that, he went further "above and beyond" and added a 4th sound area - we had a kids room where we were trying to play cartoons and movies for the kids. It did not occur to us beforehand that while the room had a projector and screen, there were no speakers for sound. Someone mentioned this to Alan, and he immediately went and set them up with speakers so the kids could watch their cartoons. My bride and I had no idea this even happened until the next day. Also, the "Love Story" Alan does is priceless - I highly recommend taking the time to give him the information he needs to put it together. I was somewhat hesitant and nervous about it, thinking it might be cheesy, but it was perfect - funny and engaging (which is very important when you're trying to keep the attention of a crowd of 150+ people).
