A total SCAMMER. Gave him money to purchase materials and he was to return and do the job. He then started making excuses as to why he was not showing up. At first we trusted his excuses were valid but after day after day of different excuses (27) we knew he never intended to do the job. Just took our money and left town. After one of his excuses he swore on his mother's grave that he was telling the truth and would show up the next day (no show). read more

this guy is a scammer i have contacted someone else to do the work for me. they cannot use the panels that Bart had me order, nor has the funds he spent for shower pan, i'm gonna have to eat a couple of grand. this old woman will have to eat very conservable to make up for this loss. please don't use this guy. i firmly believe that he has a serious addiction. i WOULD NOT EVEN FLICK A STAR, BUT THATS THE ONLY WAY i COULD GET IT IN THE REVIEW. I can't speak to the quality of Bart Wilhite's work. He never showed up to do any. He answered a request for quotes on Yelp for a plumbing job an and exterior door change in a house my wife owns in another county. Bart said he would look at the job and give me a quote. He lives about an hour away from the job site. He did finally show to look at it and gave me a reasonable quote for materials and labor. He wanted money up front to cover purchase of a new door and plumbing fixture and miscellanous supplies. I sent him the money the next day. To make a very long story shorter he never showed to do the job. Excuse after excuse with many promises to "...get it done this week". After several failures to show up as promised I told him I was going to find another handyman and to return the material and refund my money. He said he would. Several months later, after many promised money returns and still no money I'm telling my story here. I have no proof that Mr. Wilhite ever purchased my material. In response to this post he may say that he will pay me back and has always told me that. But after this much time and promise after promise that I he would send the money "today", "tomorrow morning, first thing", etc,, etc., I don't think he intends to ever refund my money. read more

Well very nice on the phone. Gave me a few ideas on how to fix my electric range. Was supposed to come out but had vehicle accident he did call said he'd be here next day. I called him he said he was in Paris Texas wouldn't get here soon. Next day I called he said he was having trouble with broken water pipes. So it's hard to give a good review since he never showed up or called again and I'm just going tomorrow to buy another stove. He's probably a very good guy and probably fixes things right. I just wished if he didn't want to fix my range he would of said so and not leave me hanging. Maybe someone else will have better review. Sorry I couldn't. read more
