DO NOT BUY WOOD from them, they would charge you premium price for wood so wet that do not burn. Dean even pointed out during the delivery himself the wood had fir mixed in. Charged us for ALL maple price! Extremely disappointed now we are stuck with this half cord of wet wood. You can hear moisture escaping from the wood as they burn throughout.

I tried to get a hold of him by phone and text and he wouldn't respond. Not sure what his problem is, kinda reminds of a person that gets his feelings hurt and acts like a child. Was very disappointed with his attitude towards his customers, as there have been many others complaining about this business. Evidently he figures he has all the business he needs or can handle so if he treats a customer badly another one will take their place , that only works for awhile then it will catch up with him. Very poor business attitude and would never recommend his business to anyone.

The definition of a true cord is a loosely stacked cord (for air flow) I have delivered over 3,000 cords a year now on my 10th year, I Must be doing something right/fair Have a good day there.. Sorry your (sic) not happy." So I looked up the WA state definition. "2.4.1.2 Cord The amount of wood that is contained in a space of 128 cubic feet when the wood is ranked and well stowed. For the purpose of this regulation, "ranked and well stowed" shall be construed to mean that pieces of wood are placed in a line or row, with individual pieces touching and parallel to each other, and stacked in a compact manner. https://agr.wa.gov/services/inspections-and-investigations/inspections/weights-and-measures/firewood "stacked in a compact manner." is what I've known my whole life. They are something very unusual as firewood sellers - honest. If you're going to buy firewood from someone who wants cash only, doesn't provide a numbered invoice and doesn't charge sales tax, (yes, I know it's very tempting) then, at some point, they are 95% of the time, going to lie to you. Whether it's condition of the wood, usually wetter than told, type of species, or amount supplied ( being shorted is quite normal). You will also probably get wood that is of a size difficult to use. Sibi Firewood did none of this. Jacqueline and Papi, owners and wife and husband both came from near Marblemount to Edmonds, about 70 miles, to deliver 2 cords of kiln dried maple. The fee was a more than reasonable $175. In fact, I'm pretty sure they're losing money on that item. The product and service was exemplary. They offered to split down any logs I thought were too big, I'm older and handling large pieces of wood is difficult. I told them the wood was exactly as I'd ordered both in length and size. They then tidied up and made sure I could get my car out of the garage. After it was finished, they spent so much time chatting I started to feel guilty. It turned out that Jacqueline is also an end-of-life doulah which rather explained the empathetic attitude, but not entirely. Papi was also extremely pleasant and chatty. Wonderful people and I was delighted with their visit. You may think that their prices are high. If you research firewood suppliers that are legitimate and reliable, you will realize their prices are not. I consider them a bargain. I've been buying firewood for over 30 years and this is the best experience I've ever had. I can tell you some real horror stories. I haven't had all the wood stacked yet, but it looks way more than I paid for. In case you're wondering, this is not a "fixed" review. I met them for the first time last week. He loaded up the wood, then offered to go to a nearby store to get a tarp for me as it was raining and I did not bring one large enough to cover the whole trailer. I paid him, and was on my way, all just a few hours after I called. The wood is burning great. I likely will only purchase from Sibi if I need to buy wood again.
