I went here for about a year after my previous doctor ran out of treatment options. They started…read morewith facet injections which were helping but only for a short while and they were quite painful. When I started asking for other options they got aggressive and started giving me pills and telling me that this is just how life is with chronic pain. I got scheduled with a new doctor and felt he was being rude (interrupting me, ignoring what I said) so I made sure to request my regular doctor for appointments, however every time I came in after that I was told I would be seeing the more rude doctor instead. They sold me a back brace that they said was covered by my insurance but it wasn't - it took hours of phone calls to get APM's billing department to updating the billing to show it as a medically necessary item instead of an optional medical accessory. They were nice at first after a few visits I felt like a number. By the end I was being treated with hostility and judgement while being charged through the nose for everything. They made me feel like a burden and impressed upon me that I was going to be at that pain level for my entire life no matter what. I later learned that the technique that was being used for my facet injections wasn't very precise, which is why they were so painful. I have never heard a good thing about this place and wish I had never stepped foot in their clinic.

I have a had an awful experience with Dr. Tashome. He treated me like a number. He didn't look me…read morein the eye, nor did he look at my medical records. I can deal with the sterile attiude. However, I am allergic to many medications. He gave me a prescription to something I am allergic to. I pointed that out. His response was shocking. He said " That's not something I deal with. Its this or nothing. " I have recently found out that that office is being investigated for malpractice. Good luck if you go there.

From the registration professional, the nurse & Dr Steven Armus was nothing less than wonderful. I…read morefelt genuinely cared for by all professionals. Dr Armus called me the following day after my appointment to check in on how I was doing and if I had any concerns he could address. He also encouraged me not to hesitate to contact him in the future if I may have any concerns that may develop. I will certainly recommend The New Dermatology Group & Dr Armus to my friends and family for their dermatological needs. Best Regards to all.

I went 2 months ago and saw Kara!!! I have been going to Forefront Dermatology for years as I am…read morefair skin and was a sun lover. I moved to Howard and thought the new place I would go to for any skin issues would be this place. NOT- first, my appointment was for 8:15- waited 15 minutes at the reception desk for one of the 2 receptionists to check me in. I finally got checked in and taking to my room. Dr Kara came in, this was for a yearly routine exam. She basically was in and out of the visit within 10 minutes and told to come back in 9 months. I said to her, 9 months she said yes. Well 3 weeks later, very bad basil cell on my leg that was there and untreated when I went to her. SAVE your time and go to a real professional who is not about how many people they can get in and out of their office and truly care about the patients that entrust them with their care. Run from this facility and dont turn back.
