All of our dogs are rescues and 2 of them are very sensitive. We knew that there was NO WAY that they would be comfortable in a traditional kennel environment. And we couldn't stand the thought of leaving them in a concrete kennel with very little time outside or with too little human interaction. Our dogs are very human oriented and are extremely spoiled in every way. Once we met Helen and Brian, we quickly realized that they possessed a rare combination of genuine love for animals, professionalism, and reliability that sets them apart from the rest. We knew that PPP was going to be the best place to board them, BUT they far exceeded our expectations - which were already very high! We were sent dozens of pictures of our besties having a good time, multiple times per day! Helen and Brian spent the mornings and evenings cuddling with our pack and giving them tons of one on one time. They were also treated to special kibble toppers to keep meal time interesting. They treated them just like their own family, which made a huge difference in us being able to enjoy our family vacation with zero worry. Our dogs have a few quirks that require a very experienced dog handler, and of course, they were more than equipped to handle this as well. They really take the time to understand each pet's unique personality, preferences, and needs, ensuring that they feel safe, comfortable, and cozy in their care. Not only that, but being in a home environment vs a traditional boarding kennel made them feel almost like they were at home. We can't recommend Purrfect Pet Pal enough. A million stars!

My wife and I ( both71 yrs old) had a litter of 6 kitties born in our utility trailer 10 years ago…read more We tried repeatedly to find homes for them without any success. As time passed it was obvious that we were stuck with them. Basically they became our rescued cats...we had them fixed, fed, treated for basic good health all on our own dime...a month ago one got very sick with what looked like some type of mange....not being vets we weren't sure, but he was suffering terribly. Unable to get him into see a privately owned vet service (soonest was 2 weeks out); Reluctantly we took him to a local (Bethany/War Acres) formerly private but now corporately bought out vet business....emphasis being on "Business".... Counsel Veterinary Hospital... on 23rd. The very first thing they did was make sure we signed off on a guaranteed contract commitment to pay for the "Treatment Plan" that they insisted was necessary. The list of line items included several that totaled well into the $300.00 plus range. She (self proclaimed cat specialist)... Dr K...said she wasn't sure what it was that was all over our kitty's swollen face, ears, and feet. I said well it looks exactly like what one of them had about 4 years ago...I told her which vet clinic in War Acres it was, who the Vet was, and the $40.00 shot that vet gave which cured that cat in about a week and suggested they get those records. This arrogant "money collecting corporate agent" disguised as a doctor of veterinary medicine was immediately offended that I should suggest that she needed any guidance from me for suggesting how to treat our cat, when it wasn't even the same cat. I told her we simply could not afford over $300 as it was costing over 300 a month just to feed them. I explained we weren't looking for a ..."freebie"....just a break and that we couldn't sign the multi line contract. She in a visibly annoyed tone and body language removed a number of the treatments from the contract and we got out of there for $170 for her "exam" and "1 shot of some antibiotic". One week later our poor little guy was worse than ever, he had started bleeding where he was rubbing and scratching. We took him back and this sad excuse for a doctor says..."well....just give it some more time" and charged us another $25, did nothing more for the cat and sent us on our way for "more time and suffering to go by...........so 2 more weeks went by and our cat was even worse bleeding in many places on his face. I wish I could put the Pics on this review! I texted Dr Do Nothing 2 clear pictures of our kitty's face as told to do by their front desk person.....who assured me Dr Don't Give A Dam would call me later. (which she never did). I'd had enough of this poor excuse for a doctor and her sold out corporate black hearted business. I regret having ever handing over $200 to this quack hospital. Stay away from Council Veterinary Hospital ... and if you accidentally go there, you may get some compassion if you bring a big bag of money and watch them salivate!! And you Dr. K...go find a different job! We took our Poor little guy to a privately owned animal hospital ...they immediately recognized his affliction, gave him 3 specific treatments on our first visit, and info on how to administer the medicine all for $135. In only 3 days since going to real, experienced, caring animal hospital, our baby is healing and thriving. Thank you Doctor T

I had a neighbor drop off their puppy at my house and wouldn't take her back. I called darn near…read moreevery rescue and non-kill shelter in town. All at or over 100% capacity, the local pound would kill her same day. So I decided it's my responsibility to take care of her. Better get her looked at and get her shots. Arriving at the vet she slipped her leash and ran into the road, nearly got both of us killed grabbing her. Carried her in the front door, where she proceeded to headbutt me in the face, feels like my nose is broken. Got seen to a room and had animal control called on me and they were ready to arrest me for animal abuse. Thankfully, I was able to explain to Animal Control the circumstances and they were actually very nice. The staff claimed it was a third-party, someone else in the waiting room but even knowing the full story, I didn't get an apology. So if you want to risk possibly having the cops called if you so much as scold you dog after running into traffic and breaking your nose please go here. Note: At no point did I hit or strike the dog, after she broke my nose I grabbed her by the scruff and pushed her down into a chair. Considering that a minute earlier, I just about ran into a busy road to keep her from getting killed. And even if the staff didn't call animal control, which I find unlikely. They never checked on either one of us, including the person (myself) that just got hit in the face.

They were pampered with amazing treats, multiple play sessions, tons of room to roam freely, water activities, and comfy sleeping spaces. I couldn't have been more appreciative...my older dog needed medication and tender care, and my young energetic pup needed lots of interaction and activity. Andrea accommodated both of them beautifully! I got photos, videos, and text updates on my girls daily. I can't say enough good things about Pawesome! Highly recommend!
