I love the staff and vets at WVC! From the time you walk in the door Mel and the girls in the front are very welcoming! Not only do ALL of the staff treat my pets and livestock with compassion and love but they are amazing to my young children that are full of questions( and everyone does the best they can to answer all the 100 questions my girls ask)! My girls love Rey the clinic yellow lab and he let them rub all over him, he is great entertainment & so lovable!! Last month our Jack Russell being a typical JRT got herself in a bit of trouble she ended up with broken rib & a collapsed lung. I called clinic and let them know what all was going on and by the time we made the 35 mile drive they were set up and ready for us. She was in surgery in less then 15 minutes of us walking in the door!!! Both Dr Glen and Dr Sam worked very hard on her and she was home in less then 24 hrs! She is doing amazing and had a great follow up! So thankful for the WVC staff and ALL they do! We have local vets but we will continue to make the drive because of the way we are treated at WVC it is worth the drive! read more

I have been going to Wilkinson Veterinary clinic since it opened. They have grown a lot since then. They are one of the few vets in the area that work on large animals and do emergencies. Anybody who makes a living working cattle knows they don't pay any attention to the the day or the time. When they hurt themselves or start having troubles seems to always be in the middle of the night or on a holiday. They are always available and willing to help. It it hard to find this kind of service. Most place just want to get you in and push you out after you pay your bill, but not these guys. read more

I bought some rabbits to raise from the Kingsville area and had some heath issues developed with them after a few months and was able to get in touch with Dr. Sam at Wilkinson Vet clinic and he was incredibly helpful! With his expertise and advice everything turned out fine. He did a lot of research & follow up with me about the rabbits and even put me in contact with an expert from from TAMU on rabbits. World class service and great down to earth people. I have recommended their services many times and it always turns out the best. I would take any of my animals there! read more

Yelp is only publishing the bad reviews... I have never had the type of experience Ian H. described. I'm curious to know if it is even a real account. I guess yelp's software only let's bad review's through... Oh well, I'll keep telling the truth. I take my pets to Wilkinson's all the time. They are great there. I highly recommend them. The most recent time I took my dog Butch into their office they were very helpful and very professional. Both Dr. Wilkinson and TC helped with take x-rays of his leg and fix his leg. My experiences with Wilkinson Vet Clinic have been beyond positive. Dr. Glen and Dr. Sam Wilkinson are absolutely amazing. I took my dog in for a bite wound not too long ago and they were able to see him right away. I was extremely pleased with the service and results. The staff was just as great too. I went back for a follow-up two weeks later and received the same care, if not, better! I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking quality veterinarian services. Dr. Wilkinson's staff is very professional and know what they are doing. Everyone was super polite while assisting me and my dog. I feel that I am qualified to say that Dr. Wilkinson is a great vet. He is amazing with my horses and always works his hardest to keep my horses running at their best. I will never go anywhere else. Wilkinson Vet Clinic has always taken great care of all of our animals. Just recently our dog got sick while we were traveling. I called after hours and Dr. Wilkinson talked me through taking care of her. He even called me back the next day to see how our dog was doing. My baby Chico has had liver problems for a while. Dr. Wilkinson has been helping my baby have a better life since it was diagnosed. They are so good with my baby. About a year a go Chico had problems eating. I took him in and he had some problems with his teeth. They cleaned them and did the dental work now he is all better gracias a Dios. read more

Dr.wilkison is an amazing vet. My horse went into labor in the middle of the night and was having issues. Dr wilkison came out to help in the middle of the night and saved our baby foal.
