Her contract was straightforward and easy to understand, and she was incredibly responsive and easy to get a hold of throughout the entire planning process. On the wedding day itself, she was prompt and even arrived early, which immediately put my mind at ease during the morning rush. I'll be the first to admit that I am not "good" at having my picture taken... I usually feel awkward and stiff in front of a camera and my self esteem isn't the highest. However, Sarah made me feel instantly comfortable and relaxed. She has such a gift for direction and used unique, creative poses that felt natural rather than forced. My guests and wedding party haven't stopped talking about how much they absolutely loved her energy; she truly felt like a part of the family while still staying incredibly focused on her craft. I specifically asked for a focus on candids, and Sarah delivered beyond my wildest dreams. She captured the raw emotion and "in-between" moments perfectly, and every single edit was breathtakingly beautiful. Her pricing is amazing for the high level of talent she provides, and to top it all off, she delivered our full gallery ahead of schedule! I had actually hired Sarah previously for a friend's maternity shoot, and after seeing her work there and now at my wedding, I am a customer for life. We have been together since high school, and this was so important to me. He also hates getting pictures done, so it was nerve racking. But, after months of us talking, me making so many changes, it was perfect. She showed up early, and stayed way longer than expected, and we held some great conversations to make my husband feel more comfortable. She went above and beyond for us, and I will be externally grateful. She is also very well priced for the service she provides with all of the time she outs in the photos. The message was rude and accused me of refusing to pick up something they went out of their way to do? This is bizarre. I was never even told it was reprinted. I called the studio to address this message and spoke to Keith Forrest, the owner. First Keith acted like he had no idea what I was talking about and then later admitted he sent the message. He cursed at me and then spent 5 solid minutes arguing with me over my last name, bc my former last name was on his caller ID. I kept saying that's no longer my name and he continued to argue with me about "why is it on the caller Id then?". This whole conversation was so bizarre, chaotic and unnecessary. I have no idea why he decided to be nasty to me 9 months after this review. This man is beyond rude and does not ever let you speak. AVOID THIS BUSINESS!

My husband and I recently added a puppy to our family and we searched for a photographer to capture this exciting time in our lives. What struck me about Catherine was her editing style (gorgeous!) and her familiarity with photographing animals. Our puppy is hyper to the max and VERY easily distracted, but Catherine was so patient and even had a few tricks to get her to focus on the camera. At some points during the session, our pup would be running around, looking at everything and everyone, and I would think, "well there is no way that shot is going to come out any good.."
