This was the first winery we visited on our wine trip and hands down, probably the best of the best! There is nothing that I value you more than a welcoming and friendly staff to greet you, wonderful wines and a beautiful tasting room and they had everything. Diane, our server was probably one of the best that I have seen and she made sure we knew everything about the wines and made sure that we had everything we needed for our visit. The grounds are beautiful with multi-level patios overlooking the vineyards. Just outstanding!

Cheers to creating your own memories here!

Best and most memorable experiences to be had at this very place. We have been coming here for years...a part of their wine club and have turned on many friends and family to our happy place. You will not be disappointed and will be sure to create your own memories here and bring a piece of it home with you.

Beautiful winery, great wine, staff was awesome! I have sort of big rant though, it's minor in comparison to the whole picture. Get out of here with the charcuterie! Like I actually posted it to my social media, and people were shocked, and compared it to airport charcuterie, price tag and all. ($25)!! For being such a beautiful atmosphere, I guess I expected more. I hope the winery reconsiders this option for food. It's a joke.

One of my favorite vineyards anywhere. When friends visit from out of state, this is where I bring them. When my friends, who are club members, go to pick up wine, I beg them to take me with them! I just love everything about this place. Nestled in the rolling hills with Longhorns roaming freely, the views are spectacular. There is a patio outside and a cozy room inside that has a large bar area and several tables with views. The service is always warm and friendly. The wines are really nice. It's the first place I ever tried a Pinot Rose and fell in love! And that's saying a lot since I usually drink red, the bigger the better. Now I serve Pinot Rose all summer long. If you go, order the cheese platter. One of the nicest anywhere, with several types of cheese, dried fruit, nuts and a baguette that pairs wonderfully with the flights.

Another memorable visit to WillaKenzie, one of our favorite Oregon wineries. This time Diane was our host and made our visit both special and memorable. On our prior visit, Philippe was wonderful. The personalized Tasting Sheet was a nice touch. Absolutely love the wines, views, property and staff. Highly recommend!

Passion for Pinot with a sense of place. My friend and I appreciated the appropriate signage directing visitors to the tasting room. Perched on a hill, views from the tasting room are stunning and overlook the vineyards on the hillside. The tasting room itself is impressive: spacious and clean; hardwood floors and high ceiling. Seating available on the patio and outdoor areas. NOTES: Tasting fee = $20; The tasting is comprised primarily of pinot noir and at least 1 white wine. SERVICE: Outstanding. Terrific even. Mary was so cheerful and friendly, and kept the 3 of us constantly engaged in conversation. We shared with her where we were from, and in turn she asked what places/attractions we had visited while in Portland. She provided great customer service and WillaKenzie is very fortunate to have her on staff. Since the tasting fee us refundable with the purchase of 2 bottles, we ended up leaving with 1 bottle each of the Gamay Noir and the Pinot Noir Emery. The Emery was a definite favorite of our tasting. BOTTOM LINE: Good Pinot. Wonderful Service.

My favorite place to be especially when the weather is great & the fire is on. Come out & make this place one of your favorites.

We loved the wines at this vineyard. Gracing the walls at this tasting room were many honorary letters from the White House, spanning a few decades, noting exactly which wine was served at which dinner. WillaKenzie was named after the soil and not somebody. The wines we tasted were all really good, and had a hard time deciding which bottle to take back with us. We had: 2007 Pinot Blanc 2007 Pinot Gris 2006 Pinot Meunier 2006 Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2006 Pinot Noir Thibaud's Cuvee 2005 Pinot Noir Aliette Tasting fee was only $5 and is refundable with wine purchase. The tasting menu and description cards were helpful in explaining what flavors to expect. Elke was very friendly and gave good advice as well. We bought a bottle of the 2006 Pinot Meunier. Overall this was an excellent wine tasting experience. There is a little patio outside where you could sit and enjoy your wine. On site is also where they make the wine. Pretty interesting stuff. See pics!

Absolutely beautiful winery, fantastic wines and wonderful staff (thank you Courtney!) We stopped in for a quick visit and 3 hours later left with some amazing wines and great memories. A nice variety of wines for those interested in varietals beyond Pinot - but some very good Pinots as well. The property is breathtaking, bring some snacks and get ready for an enjoyable visit.

Pretty much everything about Willakenzie is beautiful. The tasting room, the setting, the wines... they all got it going on. From the moment you drive up the hill into the estate you're transported into the idyllic Oregon Wine Country spread. Vines line the approach on both sides and surround a set of high-end buildings that house the winery, crush dock, tasting room and offices. It's a pretty gorgeous place to drink some wines... ...which are just as sexy as the surroundings. The pinots that Willakenzie's French winemaker puts out are soft and luscious. From the Estate Cuveé all the way up through the Aliette and Pierre Leon, they're all good. They also make some interesting smaller-batch stuff like Pinot Meunier (not often found in the US), a couple of whites and some Gamay Noir. My favorites are the Pierre Leon, the Pinot Meunier (I scored the last two bottles of the Meunier on my last visit) and the Jory Hills. The tasting experience here is quality. They have one tasting room person that is somewhat droll but the rest of the staff is great. The fee matches the quality of wines you're drinking but a purchase (which is well worth it) chops that off right quick. To me, if you're actually buying at retail you shouldn't have to pay a tasting fee (especially multiple bottles), so Willakenzie gets it right where others in the valley fail. If you have time, snag a bottle or linger over your taster set with a cheese plate out on the balcony at a table overlooking the vines. Regardless of when you visit, the view is pretty stellar. I've seen it at the height of summer and covered in a layer of snow. Both seasons make for some vine vistas. This winery may be a bit off the regular 99W path, but the pastoral drive out and the great wines make it worth the detour. Good stuff.

Delicious and I was in shock to adore their chardonnay because that is not a wine I enjoy often. The food was also lovely. I was a bit surprised as to how many children were present as even the popcorn seemed not something children would enjoy. The grounds are also very adult with gorgeous views but with lots of gravel around, the kids were running through the tents since there was no where else to be.

My mother and I went here in the summer of 2023 and really loved our visit. As a birthday treat my mother bought me a wine tasting for two with a special charcuterie board through Groupon as a birthday gift again this year to use in the summer or around my birthday in September. We weren't able to come back until late fall, but the nice thing about the Groupon is that it lasted for six months. It's a fabulous deal because you get a tasting for two and a chaucuterie cheese and cracker plate to share for an affordable price. This place is one of the few vineyards that has a unique experience like this and a good offer through Groupon. We came back this November (2025) and Crystal helped us. She was so kind and showed us true hospitality. I felt like we were with a good, loyal friend. The wine was fantastic, but when we explained that we only wanted it for our wine tasting and didn't need any to take home, she wasn't upset or bothered. She truly wanted us to enjoy our tasting experience and create a special memory. We talked about wine, cats, and aging. All the important things in life. The cheese and crackers were really nice. We were almost done eating our delights when she offered us more pita chips and walnuts that actually came right from their walnut trees. They were so good. I should have asked if they sold them there. The drive out to the winery is beautiful too. I would definitely recommend this winery to all my wine loving friends.

The other reviews are not kidding when they praise the view! The space is absolutely gorgeous-- the tasting room feels luxurious and comfortable, and tables are not too close together. But wow, the view takes the cake. You overlook the vineyards, and even though it was cold and cloudy we were blown away. What really impressed me, though, was the service. Our sommelier, Adam, was incredibly personable and a joy to talk to. Further, he was incredibly knowledgeable about all aspects of the wine-- not just the tasting notes and region. He knew a ton about the history of the land/winemaking in this specific part of Oregon and the ecological preservation efforts of winemakers in the area. He produced photos and diagrams of different soil types and explained how they impact the taste of the wine when we did side-by-sides. When I mentioned I had a chemistry background and expressed interest in the chemistry of the winemaking process, he was able to speak in detail about their wines and the ways they are made (probably because he's actually worked in the cellars, too, not just in customer service). As I have mentioned in other reviews, I don't always feel like I get a great customer service experience at wineries because my partner and I are pretty young and because I often have on alternative makeup. We were given A+ treatment here, and I want to thank Adam for making the experience feel special. The wine was good. We got a bonus pour of one of their sparkling wines to start, which was lovely and a nice romantic touch since we were celebrating. I liked their Chardonnay (concrete egg and VERY light oak which is probably why-- I don't like a heavy, buttery Chard) and was surprised it was so good-- it was a seven-year-old white which is unusual, but it really worked. We got side-by-side pours of the pinots, which was great-- I love when wineries do this! It makes it so much easier to taste the different notes. We ended up getting a bottle of their Riesling. The tasting was $25, which is an absolute steal for the level of service we got. Truly a wonderful time, and we look forward to returning.

We did spend a bit of time walking around the property, which I'm glad we could do - it was truly lovely and with great views. The wine tasting itself was excellent - we tried just the right amount of wine, and I appreciated all the backstories and info our server gave us with each one. I particularly loved the Fairsing Vineyard Pinot Noir (this is the Willamette Valley, after all!), but all our pours were delightful. The quality was high, the wines were complex yet simple enough to understand, the service was wonderful, and the views (even on a cloudy, chilly day) were impeccable. We wound up taking a few bottles back with us, which was a great move to continue the experience even after we left the premises. I would recommend Fairsing to anyone looking for a true Willamette Valley winery experience!

The wineries are backing it like crazy, and it was a treat to try out Atticus and spend time with them. Their winery is stunning, their wines are divine. This is a very, VERY new winery. I think the stuff we are tasting is their first crush. Beyond the name being that of one of my favourite literary characters of all time, the wine lives up to the solid, consistent, trustworthy demeanor of the namesake from To Kill a Mockingbird.... I think most of the grapes are from Yamhill Springs and Hawk's View Vineyard - they released only a couple hundred cases of each, with the reserve wine being a little darker. For a pinot it is somewhat refreshing, because it isn't unecessarily over the top or huge, attempting to compensate for lack of depth. Because of that both the earth and floral are subtle, and the oak isn't too penetrating. Anyhoo... small, small, small family winery, with extremely limited production. Like... teeny. The space is a bit on the larger side, so on busy weekends, you can totally see getting overwhelmed by the crowds. The wine is definitely some of the better you'll find in the area. Very much a classic French style wine, with a few nice surprises in vintages crafted by the winemaker who knows what he is doing. The wines are produced in batches that are larger, say 1000 cases, so they can have a more mass-produced feel and taste, but they still have a small vintner's technique evident in their finish. Generally on the more expensive side, there are some great values and unique finds to be found on the library list, and be sure to score one of the 2020 Blanc de Blanc while it lasts. It's a unique sparkling wine scrubbed of the smoke taste from the wildfires of that year through the age-old milk clarifying process. Just brilliant on the part of the winemaker!
