Every work area is well equipped with the tools of the trade and the tools are well maintained. It's the kind of makerspace where you can spend all day. There's a full commercial kitchen and communal eating/meeting area, so no need to leave in the middle of a project. And the community of makers is phenomenal. The member-teachers I've learned from so far have been top notch - I look forward to taking classes in ceramics, stained glass and art framing next. The lady behind the counter was on the phone. After she hung up I was still browsing through the sale fabric. She didn't acknowledge me at all even though we were about 3 feet apart. They have a wonderful selection of quilting fabric. I was impressed by how much fabric there was at a sewing & vacuum store. There's also notions and some quilting books. The other woman working there wasn't friendly either. Even when I brought up my fabric to be cut, I got a chilly reception from the first lady by the front door.
