This is the first time we've stayed at the Willcox KOA. We were pleasantly surprised when we entered the park. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The park is easy to maneuver the rig around the turns, even if the toad is still attached. We were concerned about the freeway noise but it was never an issue. The park is so clean and inviting. We will definitely return! Be sure to visit Tirrito Farm Vineyards. They have a great charcuterie board and lunch. If you are up to driving about 45 minutes further visit the sandhill cranes at Whitewater Draw in early morning or late afternoon to see hundreds of the cranes as they feed at the wetlands. read more

We stayed here while traveling west and were so happy with our stay we stayed here again on our way back through. Our first stay we had a minor hiccup with our water on spot 30 not working. I was a little surprised they didn't do anything to make up for it but honestly the rest of the stay there was really nice. The are strict on shutting down the pool and hot tub at 8 pm sharp! The restaurant while a bit high especially on drinks was so good! The things in the KOA store were a little higher than Walmart but most are. The internet was around 75Mb/30Mb and extremely stable even at the back side of the park. On our stay the next time on the way back the young girl got us a little better spot closer to the laundry and showers for our trouble the first time with the water. I would highly recommend this spot if you need a KOA for an RV. read more

I only ever submit reviews to places I think deserve a million stars or deserve none at all and this was definitely the latter we get there and the day goes pretty well other then it being a glorified truck stop the pool is cold and full of all sorts of nasty stuff but the next morning as I wake up I spend an hour packing my stuff and right when I am ready to leave a woman with a Karen cut jumps infront of my families rv to stop me and tells me that they messed up and used points from an entirely different group of people and tried to accuse my family of stealing even though they messed up then starts taking photos of all of our stuff (as in my plates) and then after arguing with her she swears calling my family member A BITCH then another employee pulls up and she has the GALL to run up to him and play victim saying WE ARE HARASSING HER don't go here if you don't like being blamed for a accident that was clearly out of your hands . read more

The pool is nasty, cold, and has bugs in it the rv park is right next to the highway and you hear trucks all night long, the restaurant food is nasty don't let these fake reviews fool you. We stayed for 1 night, upon check in the lady got our name for our KOA account which we gave her, she put the wrong name in and used someone else's KOA points. Then the next morning came to our site accusing us of stealing someone's information because of their own mistake. The lady then screamed at us, swore at us, and was taking photos of us, and all of our stuff for no reason, Then when we left we wanted to contact the owner to let him know about this terrible service we received, The lady answered and yelled at us that she wasn't going to give it to us. Maybe you will have a different experience but i really don't recommend coming here especially sense its about $80-$85 a night to be basically at a truck stop. read more

Love this RV park! We stayed here as we're traveling long hours every day to get home to Georgia as fast as possible for medical issues and could not have been happier to have stopped here! Yes, it is "just" a large gravel lot with spots; however, they've done so much beyond what other similarly designed RV parks have to make the experience positive. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, the facilities were clean and updated, they provided the best communication on amenities and activities in the area in the form of text messages and even provided a coupon for the cafe as rewards members. They took what could and probably should have been a boring space next to the highway and added the most amazing touches like a sunset viewing area with Adirondack chairs set off by a path guests used for walking dogs. They have the most adorable gas fire pit in the patio area complete with cushions marking space for probably 15 guests in a massive semicircle. The food at the cafe was good, fast and so convenient after a day on the road. Overall, the management of this location goes so far above and beyond to provide the best customer service and it is noticed! Go check them out if you're in the area! read more

Air conditioning went out on our RV so we decided to stop here in Cochise, Arizona on our way back to California. What a diamond in the rough. Everyone here is so nice, the cheeseburgers are so tasty and fresh and the ice cream is Blue bell and of course delicious. The owner said they make these amazing cinnamon rolls but we were leaving at 5 AM and would miss breakfast, so he gave it to us with our dinner and we will heat it up on our way out in the morning. Can't wait. Our campsite came with a Weber grill, an outdoor dining set with umbrella, a swing and fire pit. So cute and we got shade before the sun went down. Sat outside and had some ice cream. What a great place! We will definitely be back; lots to do and see here. read more

We stayed at this KOA, just for the night as we were passing through on our way to Texas. It was a fabulous experience. The check in process was quick and she was so friendly. The store is very well stocked for everything you might need. A great selection of RV supplies included. We used the showers, which were A+. So clean, good water pressure and good heat. We also ate dinner and breakfast at the cafe (will do a separate review). Both meals were great. I would 100% recommend this place for a visit. The only thing to mention is it is right off I10 making it super easy to get to, however there is noise from traffic. It did not keep me awake and I am usually a light sleeper. read more

I could write a novel on how amazing our stay here was! We were in a deluxe cabin with both of our dogs. When we pulled in, someone helped us find our cabin. It was clean, adorable, and more than enough space for all 4 of us! It was quiet and the staff was so friendly. The views at sunset were AMAZING. I wish we could have stayed a few more days! We were driving through Az. with an RV and car trailer after dark and decided to find a spot to stay for the night. We easily got a spot with out a reservation. The staff was very kind and helpful. Tons of space, places to park trailers if needed and they will guide you safely to your spot. The bathrooms were great!!! Full Hook ups, cable, Wi-Fi, pool, rec areas etc. Super clean, roads were nice, a cute cafe, which they will even deliver to your camp site if you don't want to eat there. It was quiet even with the 10 fwy close by. It's definitely a place you want to spend a couple nights at or even come back to. read more

We are moving cross country and this was the perfect spot for us to stop and refresh. We had to change our check-in because we were making slower time than expected and they were very flexible. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.Plenty of space to spread out and easy to pull a truck/trailer in/out. Bathrooms and Showers were well maintained and clean. The food at the Roadrunner Cafe was great! It was nice to have some REAL food after eating so much fast food on the road. It is right off I-10 which is super convenient but may not work for light sleepers.The tent and cabin sites are at the far end which is probably quieter. We're heavy sleepers so it didn't bother us at all. Also dog friendly my pups felt right at home. read more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Willcox KOA. Laundry room and bathrooms were immaculate. Staff in office and restaurant super friendly and helpful. Restaurant has a good selection of food but it's very crowded. Had a great breakfast of stuffed French toast with prickly pear and cream cheese filling. Pecan pancakes were very good. Cheeseburgers were out of this world. The sites are large. Hot tub and pool were opened and very clean. I would highly recommend this place read more

We generally like KOAs and have stayed in several. I hadn't noticed this one on the map and we're headed further east to another park, just for the night, as we're passing through on our way to Tennessee. We started having engine trouble just before we got to Willcox and we're able to limp into this KOA & get settled (saw the signs on our way into town) Ended up staying three nights while repairs were done. We were honestly sad when it came time to leave. Each and every employee of the park, Joe (the park owner), & even fellow guests, treated us like family. Family you love to have around, not the other kind The park is spotless, the WiFi faster n mine at home, and the "Kafe" -excellent. We're leaving with menu items we still want to try. Not too worried, we'll be back. Not fancy, but good food reasonably priced. Ice cream too! If you have a chance, ask Joe to have a cup of coffee with ya- very interesting character with a fascinating past & just an all around nice guy. The employees here are mostly transplants to the area & have their own interesting stories to tell too. Stop in and fall in love with these people & this park. read more

We stayed there two nights and where satisfied with the service, the rate (they also have a AAA discount as posted on their website), the cleanliness of the facilities and the place itself. It was very convenient to have a grill on-site, as far as I remember most sites have their on. Also great: Propane available at the RV Park. On the downside is the location, it's close to I-10, so it's a bit noisy all the time, for us still acceptable for those two nights though. Summary: Good for an overnight stay or a couple of nights if you're into discovering nearby Fort Bowie and Chiricahua National Monument. read more

This KOA has a restaurant on site and breakfast was great (pancakes like I've never had) and they have a pet friendly patio for dining. Just called. They don't allow late arrivals. Meaning anything after dark. Very odd for the RV Community & not very travel friendly, especially since there are so many things that can happen on the road to affect your ability to arrive at specific times. This one is officially crossed-off our list. Also appreciate a friendly voice on the phone when I call, since I always try to be that way. Not the most magical experience for me. I'll pass! We tow a primary electric hybrid Ford Cmax and were just told we we had to unplug from the 20 amp outlet where we were charging the hybrid battery. We were told that the pedestal would blow up if we plugged our 30 amp motorhome and our 20 amp car. We pointed out that we were not drawing more than the 50 amps that the pedestal could handle, but they said they'd had pedestals blow up in the past when they had an electric car plugged in in addition to an RV. They don't say in the rules that you can't have something besides an RV plugged into a pedestal. We have towed this electric hybrid car for five years and never had a problem or issue with power pedestals or management. We definitely won't be staying here ever again. And suggest that you bypass it if you also tow a primary electric hybrid. read more

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at this RV park. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The facilities are immaculately clean and tidy and the campsites are well cared for. As an added convenience we were even able to order breakfast from their café in the morning and had it delivered right to our site before we pulled out. Took a COVID break and booked a week at Willcox KOA. Great staff, proud of their park, helpful and definitely keeping sites clear and healthy. Took advantage of little cafe and ice cream at night as every day was over 100 degrees but they did have trees. Nice big dog park for our girl to play. read more

This KOA is wonderful! The entire staff is SUPER friendly. The lots have very generous spacing and each area has a table. Some have shade trees and, should you pay for it, some have fire pits and grills. They have a very comprehensive store including a small Blue Bell ice cream "cart". There is a playground, heated pool and a hot tub and a decently sized dog area to include activities for the dogs (balls, a dog ramp, etc.). There is a very nice community fire pit area, community picnic table area and a community lounging area. There is a "dining room" where breakfast can be ordered and eaten or, it can be brought to your site. The absolute only downside to this KOA is there is a fair amount of road noise; however, the staff at the front office are happy to give complimentary ear plugs to anyone who needs them.
