That's when I started calling around for help. Most places I called were quick to ask what was wrong and immediately quote me a fee just to come out. I was considering one of them until I spoke with Meigs. He was awesome. He told me he offers free quotes over the phone, but he didn't just give me a quote. He actually tried to help me troubleshoot the issue right then and there. He spent about 10 minutes on the phone with me, calmly walking me through step-by-step instructions. He suggested there might be another GFCI hidden somewhere else in the house or even in the garage. The garage hadn't even crossed my mind, but it made sense since the restrooms are closer to that side of the house. Since we don't live at the property, I wasn't there at the time to test it. I told him we'd try it when we were back there later in the week. I must've sounded a little flustered because he kindly said, "When you get there, call me if you need me," offering to walk me through everything again if necessary. Sure enough, when we checked the garage, there it was, a GFCI outlet we hadn't noticed before. We reset it, and everything worked like a charm. There was power again in the restrooms downstairs. Thanks to Meigs, he saved me at least $350 of the visit and solved the issue in 10 minutes over the phone. They found a ground and was able to attach every single socket to ground without a full rewire!!! They also added GFCI protection to the kitchen and bathrooms. They saved us tens of thousands of dollars and gave us a top notch fully modernized wired home. They also rewired our backyard, updated all the light switches, added a google sensor camera, AND found a way to have us control the waterfall without having to manually plug it in by adding a conveniently located switch by the door! They even went under the house in the crawl space to fix a poorly wired outlet done by a previous unlicensed contractor. To say they go above and beyond is an understatement.
