Up until last week Maurice's was an online shop for me because we don't have any locations in NJ. Imagine my shock when on the drive back to NJ from Chicago we passed one! It was too late to turn around but I had my mom play detective and locate the next one down the highway. Welp just 30 miles later I pulled in for a pit stop. ::Welcome to PURE Michigan:: I beg your Midwest pardon!?!! Am I the only one who didn't realize 90 straddled the border between Indiana and Michigan? Hey at least I can find Iran on a map. You win some you lose some. I dipped in around 6pm and the store employees were so nice and welcoming. The store is divided into sizes 14-24 on one side and straight sizes on the other. Much of what's available in smaller sizes is also available in plus and that's why we've always loved this store online or in the flesh. I quickly amassed a pile of shirts that an associate took to the fitting room. Ultimately I left with 2 things - a striped number for mi madre and a muscle sleeve sweatshirt for the fall for me. The sales weren't quite where I needed them to be on other items I had in hand so we'll wait patiently for a coupon and shop online. This was a great experience! I'm a woman of a certain age - and I still like to dress fun and youthfully. Maurice's hits that sweet spot at an affordable price and in a very inclusive way. I look forward to returning!
