Unfortunately, my Wife suddenly passed away recently early Sunday morning. Immediate denial of course. Next step, Funeral Home, William H Clark took care of all my Father's passing needs, they were exceptional, and took deep pride because they knew Dad was a veteran! Sunday, closed, left voicemail. Was called back within 15 minutes. Met first thing Monday morning,, arrangements made. Without stating the whole process, Gary Raish , the Funeral Director, is one of the most compassionate people I know. I recently held a wake and funeral at Clark's. The staff was considerate, attentive, and very professional. When an issue came up with scheduling, they worked diligently to solve the matter in a timely fashion. They returned every phone call promptly. They handled the matters of insurance quickly, alleviating my families concerns. They respected our wishes and worked closely my children and myself. They fulfilled every request. I truly cannot say enough about Clark's Funeral Home or their staff. From the first phone to Gary, then Heather, my interactions with Kevin, all were very understanding and caring throughout an extremely difficult time. I have never been so disappointed with something in my entire life. I grew up in the area, and so Clark's has been around forever; and you'd think that it was a great mom and pop place that would have a personal touch to their service.. Absolutely NOT. My grandmother passed away and this was of course the choice our family decided. Now, I didn't handle the actual planning of the funeral, but I did attend the service.. The funeral director did everything in his power to just turn and burn the service. The priest that was there had speech issues and he just read through some chapters as if he was being timed and he wanted to break the record for fastest funeral service. I kid you not, not a single person cried during the service because we were all so upset by how horrible this was. My family put together a slideshow to also present to our loved ones.. Clarks doesn't have any equipment to do this, so expect to buy and bring your own to project on a wall.. But here's another kicker: I spent 30 minutes setting it up prior to people coming, I told the guy that I was going to play it afterwards.. The funeral director didn't even mention it; and so I had to stand up, interrupt him and play the slideshow for everyone; meanwhile he mouthed off to my Aunt about me, despite the fact that I cleared it by him. Then when we went to the burial spot, the funeral director was on the site texting on his phone, again the priest was powering through a reading; and they gave us NO TIME to talk about my grandmother. It was literally like we got kicked out of a funeral that was supposed to be a great and special moment for someone. If you are looking for options, do yourself a favor and do not use Clark.. They will turn and burn your service and I'd hate to see someone else have the same experience that we had. read more

I attended the service of a family friend at Clark's about a week ago and I was VERY IMPRESSED what I saw. From the overall design of the Funeral home, to the smooth flow and attentiveness of the staff, everything seemed to go as best as could be expected. The grounds were clean and well kept. Interior was comforting with warm lighting, furniture and fixtures. The presentation and staging of the viewing room was very classy. Nothing tacky or over-the-top, but very rich looking Being an attendee and not directly involved in the "ins and outs' of the preparations, I can only speak of the finished product. Our family has always asked Clark Funeral Home to conduct and help with funeral services. We have also availed our selves of the Forethought Plan which helps immensely when the time comes to need the services. The Director was very helpful as we put together a very personal Service at the Home. They even provided a memorial service for all at the end of the year which included a personal ornament. read more

This is directed to Kory A from Los Angeles. I have been to many funeral services at Clark's and never was disappointed. My mother, my uncle, my nephew and friends were laid to rest from there. Further more if I am not mistaken you select your pastor to do your sermon. At least we always did. So if you had a bad sermon that was entirely your fault.I give them 5 stars. read more
